RACE TWO

This looks a tough maiden to dissect where SHESHERZ (6) might just have found the right conditions to overcome the wide gate. Placed in both starts since arriving in Qld with Taleah McMullen, she was just 3m from the winner last start after sitting parked. Placed in 4 of 8, this might be it.

MYSTICAL CHARM (4) started from inside the second line last start and was soon buried in the run and never got into the battle over the closing stages. A starting error ended her hopes two starts back and with a move to the front line, she can look to make a play in a wide-open contest.

SAMMYS SECRET (10) has placed in both runs since returning from a spell but receives no favours from this alley. Just 1m in arrears last time at Marburg after sitting parked, he is a podium chance.

SUBTLE CHAY (1) drew the outside paint at Marburg last start and was soon at the rear of the pack trying to make ground. Runner-up his previous two starts, the improved gate is a big help.

SELECTIONS: SHESHERZ (6), MYSTICAL CHARM (4), SAMMYS SECRET (10), SUBTLE CHAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

ALL THE FOURS (3)
is a well-bred 4YO that arrives in the Stephen Cini stable from the South of NSW as a three-time winner. Starting from the second line last time out at Albury when down the line, he should appreciate this level of opposition for his first up assignment.

TEACHERS PET (10) was out of luck last start at Marburg from inside the second line when stuck in traffic when open space was needed. Grabbing 3rd, it had followed a threepeat of victories, two of those at Redcliffe, including a swooping win from back in the pack. With even luck she can challenge.

DUKE (5) has placed in three of his past five starts, the latest when finding space to make a late play and grab the silver at Marburg. Placed once in six starts her on the big deck, he can add to that here.

MOLLIDOR (6) should take some benefit from her last start appearance when returning from a let-up. Grabbing the bronze at Redcliffe two starts back, the gate stings.

SELECTIONS: ALL THE FOURS (3), TEACHERS PET (10), DUKE (5), MOLLIDOR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL THE FOURS (3) to win

RACE FOUR

Returning from a spell in fine fettle, CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (10) heads to town with successive wins at Marburg from two attempts. Overcoming an inside second line alley last time after being sent to sit parked, it followed a first up 18m demolition. The gate makes this a good test of his capabilities.

LEANDER (5) has won two of her four career starts and will be first up from a freshen after overcoming a wide gate and the 2040m trip last time out at Redcliffe. Given a pipe opener at Marburg, the gate will make it tough fresh, but she looks up to the task.

R ELEVEN ART (8) will be requiring some luck to find space at some stage to make a play. With added benefit from his last start when second up from a spell with a smart win, he will be probing.

KING OF COOL (3) returned from a spell in nice style with a first up Redcliffe victory when leading throughout over the 2040m. Doing all the work last start, with added fitness he can feature.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (10), LEANDER (5), R ELEVEN ART (8), KING OF COOL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (10) to win

RACE FIVE

A last start Marburg winner in easier company than she will challenge here, GO JO JOLT (2) comes up with the gate to look for a back-to-back win. Pressing on from outside the front-line last start and claiming a 2m margin, she might just pinch an open contest made tougher by the fact the 2138m is the kryptonite for a many of these.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (11) is yet to scrounge out a win at the middle trip but finds a race where she might be able to secure the right cart into the battle to make a play. Beaten by a wide gate last start when taken back to find position, she can look to issue a challenge.

SHEZ GOT BLING (9) will take some benefit from her latest outing when first up from a freshen. Settling in the 1x1 trail over the 2040m, and not too far from them, she can be chiming in.

NINA SIMONE (7) tackled a mares qualifier last start from gate 1 and was soon shuffled to three poles and from there was never in the mix. A drought breaking winner the start prior, she cannot be left out.

SELECTIONS: GO JO JOLT (2), SHEZALUCKYLADY (11), SHEZ GOT BLING (9), NINA SIMONE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

First up from a spell and tackling a mare’s qualifier last week, DANCINTOTHEBEAT (4) retreated from this same gat to secure position. Settled at the rear of the pack, she was searching for runs in the stretch that never opened but still peeled off some tidy splits. Securing position cheaply, she can arrive.

LAVAZZA (8) has worked her way back into form and can now boast two wins in her past three starts, the latest when tacking the trail and then owning superior closing speed up the passing lane. With the map to be in behind the speed once again, if she has the momentum, she can win this.

MISSTREPO (10) has a win and 4 minors in her 8 attempts here at The Creek but will need some favours from this alley. Grabbing 3rd at Marburg last start, look for her chiming in.

SHADYS DELIGHT (9) held the pocket trail from gate 1 at Redcliffe two starts back and made the closing shot a winner. Three poles can be a handy place and he can be probing in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: DANCINTOTHEBEAT (4), LAVAZZA (8), MISSTREPO (10), SHADYS DELIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DANCINTOTHEBEAT (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

SHADOW MINISTER (2)
eased from gate 5 last start to find the running line over the mile but in a strongly run contest, he never got warm and was near the rear. That followed a Marburg win when leading throughout and with the chance to fire the early bullets here, can look to turn it around.

BRYDON EARL (1) features in a change of stable to join the Ryan Veivers barn after fading last time out when tackling a qualifier. Holding the front from gate 1 over the Redcliffe 2040m in that outing, he couldn’t see it out. With the options from the gate, he can throw down a challenge.

BE MY ROCK (10) is on the back-up from Tuesday where he secured the 1x1 trail but could not get into the battle in the stretch in a slick closing panel. Back to this grade looks suitable.

ELMS CREEK (4) was angled to the poles last start from gate 2 at Redcliffe and with the tempo making it tough for the chasers, was sound to the line. Placed his previous three in succession, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: SHADOW MINISTER (2), BRYDON EARL (1), BE MY ROCK (10), ELMS CREEK (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SHADOW MINISTER (2) to win

RACE NINE

Despite landing a tough gate, SOHO SINATRA (10) might just find the drop in grade enough to overcome the barrier impediment. Striking a much tougher contest last start where WILL THE WIZARD took control, his effort the start prior was strong following successive wins.

THE IDEAL DANCER (3) should appreciate a return to mid-week company after tackling the metro circuit in recent weeks and despite coming up short, the effort has bene full of merit. Attacking the line in smart order last start behind INFATUATION, he can be close enough to capitalise.

STOMPEM (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe but did not offer in the closing stages as CAPTAINS PICK took them all the way. Not suited in tougher grade two back, this is more suitable.

BEE GEES BANDIT (1) maps for the options and although his numbers might not show much, this is the type of race where he can improve.

SELECTIONS: SOHO SINATRA (10), THE IDEAL DANCER (3), STOMPEM (2), BEE GEES BANDIT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SOHO SINATRA (10) to win

RACE TEN

Looking better suited when able to dictate her own terms, MALINJANG (2) comes up with the right gate to make that play. Taking them all the way at Redcliffe three starts back, she could not get warm from back in the pack last start from gate 9. In a tricky race to close it out, she can sneak home.

FLYING ART (7) was first up in Qld last start when sent out a red figure favourite as the lone runner off the second line. It was a tough slog for anything trying to make ground and the effort was sound to finish midfield. Fitter for the outing, he can look to make the challenge.

FLO RYDA (6) retreated after the start last time out at Redcliffe and was soon locked away against the poles and making some late metres as THERESACHANCE cashed in. Despite the gate he can feature.

LORIMER LADY (1) has the options from this alley and was brave last start after sitting parked and holding on for a gritty 3rd placing when just 2m in arrears. The gate puts her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MALINJANG (2), FLYING ART (7), FLO RYDA (6), LORIMER LADY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MALINJANG (2) to win
