RACE ONE

I AM SPARTA (4) finds the perfect opportunity to turn his season around after returning in four runs this campaign which have left plenty of questions unanswered. Making an error here last start when trying to work into the race, he folded up the start prior over the 2138m. He gets every chance to return to form in this line-up.

MI FURIOSO TORO (5) started from the second line last start where he continued to press forward through the pack to find the front. The extra work took the toll and he was run down and forced to settle for the silver. Throwing his chances away the start prior, he can press on to throw it down.

ROLLONX (2) has hit some nice areas and lines up here in search of a hat-trick of wins. Powering home over the top from the second line at his latest win, he can utilise his early hustle.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (7) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and out of the pack chased down the leader MI FURIOSO TORO and pulled clear to a 10m victory. Locked away here, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: I AM SPARTA (4), MI FURIOSO TORO (5), ROLLONX (2), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: I AM SPARTA (4) to win

RACE TWO

THE ROCKNROLL KING (8) was snagged back from gate 6 here last start when having his first look at the track and when looking to launch a closing raid made a costly error.  Not asked for much in a trial to secure the return ticket, he should follow through to a nice position and can descend in an open contest.

JUST ROKIN (2) will take further benefit from her latest outing where she was second up from a spell. Just 3m away on return at Marburg from the pocket trail, she faded second up when required to work hard when parked. Firing the early bullets, she will be in position to challenge.

TULHURST ACE (7) has been forced to face gate 9 at his past two starts and been trying to make ground wide off the track. A tidy 3rd here three back, he can look for the shortest way home.

BEE GEES BANDIT (4) slid up three wide last start at Marburg and was strong to the line wide out to hold on for the silver when 4m behind B MAC C. With even luck in transit, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: THE ROCKNROLL KING (8), JUST ROKIN (2), TULHURST ACE (7), BEE GEES BANDIT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: THE ROCKNROLL KING (8) to win

RACE THREE

BONZA GUY (8)
pressed on from gate 4 to lead last start in a Saturday night second division qualifier and was collared in the closing strides by THERESACHANCE. Not far from CAPTAIN NEMO three starts back, he can look to secure the right cover to finish over the top of them.

MISTY CREEK (6) has developed a super record here on The Triangle with many of his wins coming from the tough gate like he will again face here. Fading over the latter stages last start at Marburg over the 2200m trip after working hard, he sat parked from this same gate to score here at his previous two.

PEBBLE SANDS (1) held them wide last time out at Marburg but was unable to see it out when holding on for the bronze. Midfield the start prior off gate 1, he can look to burrow through here.

IM JIMMY JAMES (5) will take some benefit from his last outing where he was returning from a freshen after a seven-week gap between starts. Strong to the line, he can feature despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: BONZA GUY (8), MISTY CREEK (6), PEBBLE SANDS (1), IM JIMMY JAMES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BONZA GUY (8) to win

RACE FOUR

PATCHWORK JET (4)
eased from gate 6 last time out and owned the best closing speed to power home over the top to score. Sent to sit parked the start prior and fading after the tough trip, he faces a tricky gate here but after bouncing back last start can look to go on with it.

LEFT IN THE WIND (5) settled in the 1x1 trail from a second line gate last start and was trying to launch a closing raid when able to get within 1m of the winner. Closing out soundly four runs back to grab the bronze, she will be on the back-up from Thursday where she had podium claims.

MUSTANG DUDE (1) is on the back-up from Thursday and should be getting towards full fitness after five runs back from a spell. Sent to the front two starts back to hold 3rd at Marburg, he has the gate to feature.

WEDDING NIGHT (7) had an early look last start but was unable to get across and was soon able to secure running line cover before grabbing the silver. With second line options she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: PATCHWORK JET (4), LEFT IN THE WIND (5), MUSTANG DUDE (1), WEDDING NIGHT (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

JOEY LINCOLN (3) features in a barn witch to line up for Jack Butler and can have a line put through his last start after making an error that ended any chance at Marburg. Buried in the run at that same track before closing out nicely to be 8m from the winner, he finds conditions to strike first up.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (5) has been a model of consistency this season, hitting the board in 10 of 13 appearances. Making some closing ground here last start after easing into the running line from gate 6 and finishing within 2m of the winner, she can be looking to make the closing challenge again.

TRIOLI (9) made a costly error last start and could have been much closer if able to race true throughout. The gate does her no favours but with even luck this is a race she can feature in.

BARBOO (8) was sent to sit parked from gate 5 last start and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages. A winner here two back when able to lead throughout, he can be looking to join in.

SELECTIONS: JOEY LINCOLN (3), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (5), TRIOLI (9), BARBOO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JOEY LINCOLN (3) to win

RACE SIX

SONNY ORLANDO (4)
will find this easier than his last start where he was asked to sit parked in a much tougher contest and faded after the hard run. Assessing his performance on a pair of second placings in his previous three starts, limiting the workload can see him look to end a win drought.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) has faced wide gates at his past two starts, the latest when retreating to find the poles and finishing nicely to be 6m from the winner. Picking up some late metres to grab the bronze two starts back, he will be probing for openings to make a challenge.

ROCCO VARIETY (6) backs up from Thursday where he had a handy gate to utilise his early hustle. Placed in his three starts prior to Thursday when gunned down on each occasion, he can chime in here.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (3) could have been closer to them last start with more momentum after being locked away on the poles and those in front fading. Firing some early bullets, he can make a play.

SELECTIONS: SONNY ORLANDO (4), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7), ROCCO VARIETY (6), WILD ABOUT TOWN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SONNY ORLANDO (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

GOTTA GO MILKING (1)
comes up with a pair of decisive advantages over his main rivals with the gate and race fitness after two runs back from a spell. 8m from the smart and subsequent winner SPEAK THE TRUTH last start, he was runner-up to ALTA REVELRY when resuming. He holds the keys to this contest.

R ELEVEN ART (6) resumes from a long break after his last appearance came in the 2YO Sales Final in June on this track. Holding on for the silver behind TEDDY DISCO from the second line, he was 5m in arrears of that same winner in the heats. With a pair of trials in readiness for the return, he is given no favours from this alley, but can look to return in style.

GOING GREAT GUNS (4) will be first up since July and has transferred to the Trent Dawson barn during the break. A maiden breaker two starts back over the AP mile, he was given a strong preparatory trial and is right in the fight here fresh.

SELECTIONS: GOTTA GO MILKING (1), R ELEVEN ART (6), GOING GREAT GUNS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA GO MILKING (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

THE WHISTLER (1)
had placed three of her previous four starts heading into Thursday where she had drawn gate 3 and looked a chance to cash-in. Holding on for the bronze from the pocket trail two starts back at Marburg behind MANNIN MANNI, she look to have found the conditions to get on the board.

MYSTICAL CHARM (7) comes up with the second line options as the lone runner out the back, but does look to follow the likely leader. Not suited last start from a wide gate at Marburg when asked to grind it out, she can be stalking the action here ready to issue the closing challenge.

SNACK TIME ROCKS (2) eased from a wide gate last time out to find the running line but could not get warm over the latter stages as MANNI MANNI took the prize. A sound effort the start prior in a stronger contest, she is in the mix here.

DOOLITTLE DAYS (3) returned from a spell on Wednesday night where she was able to grab the bronze from a second line gate behind BETTOR ROCKNROLL. Settling handy, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: THE WHISTLER (1), MYSTICAL CHARM (7), SNACK TIME ROCKS (2), DOOLITTLE DAYS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: THE WHISTLER (1) to win
