RACE TWO

This maiden could be a battle of the bridesmaids where FLOORLESS (3) who has been runner-up here on The Triangle in 6 of her past 8 can get her moment in the spotlight. Back in the pack from gate 6 last start, she was best of the chasers behind PAMPELONNE two back, with a return to the main draw helping her chance.

SAMMYS SECRET (2) is finding it equally tough to land the breakthrough, finishing in 2^nd in 7 of his past 9 appearances. Rolling around to sit parked last start, he was game in fighting on behind FLASH FREDDIE after the tough trip. With the slight gate advantage, he will be throwing it down.

SARIE MARAIS (4) will take some benefit from her last appearance where she was first up in almost two years. Settling in the running line, she was sound to the line and the added fitness will help.

Given no favours from the outside paint, JOHNROD (6) will be on a forward march to get outside the leader and look to grind this out. Too strong last start from gate 5 to claim a 3m margin, the start prior he was just a head away. He can do the heavy lifting to take this.
