RACE TWO

OUR RIDGY DIDGE (1) was attacking the line strongly at Redcliffe 2 starts back after starting from outside the 2nd line and eating into the leader and winner’s deficit to be within 2m of the prize. Racing tough last start, he has the early options here and a cosy trip looks favourable to his chances.

REMEMBER ME NOW (6) continued to press forward last start from gate 7 to work to the front over the mile. Once taking control he had bullets to fire in holding on to claim a 3m victory in a new career PB. Tough in the breeze the start prior from gate 6, he can look to issue the challenge again.

AWESOME OLLIE (4) made the most of conditions here last time out when sent straight to the front and giving nothing a look-in when scoring a 7m victory over the mile. Early position looks vital here.

LIBERAL ARDEN (2) was up for the challenge of working in the run here 2 starts back when grinding away in the breeze to finish 7m from the winner. Beaten by the 2nd line last start, this looks a shade below his recent assignments and can fire the early shots.

SELECTIONS: OUR RIDGY DIDGE (1), REMEMBER ME NOW (6), AWESOME OLLIE (4), LIBERAL ARDEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR RIDGY DIDGE (1) to win

RACE THREE

This may be only a small field, but it shapes as a tricky contest where a case could be made for all 7 runners. Leaning to OUR BONDI BEACH (2) who looks to map with a cosy run in transit and effective when saved for a closing shot can be ready to strike. A winner via that pattern 2 starts back, look for him to take the closing shot.

SHANWAY (4) retreated from gate 6 last start and was wide off the track when tracking to launch a claim. Finishing in 3rd position, he was 9m from the winner THATS HOW WEROLL. Fading from the breeze 2 stars back, he made a winning start to his Northern campaign in a qualifier 3 starts back and can challenge in this.

THATS HOW WEROLL (5) started from gate 9 last start and with the right tempo was able to swoop over the top in claiming a 5m victory. Needing factors in his favour, if the tempo is solid, the small field will suit his claims.

KILLARA KAOS (1) will appreciate the improved gate after facing some tough alleys in recent starts. Claiming a qualifying victory 4 starts back when leading throughout from gate 4, he will be gripping on here.

SELECTIONS: OUR BONDI BEACH (2), SHANWAY (4), THATS HOW WEROLL (5), KILLARA KAOS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR BONDI BEACH (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SOH TWISTED (2)
has perfect stand start manners and with the benefit of the front-line tape can scoot clear early and look to dictate. After a long overdue breakthrough win here 9 starts back, she has continued to go close at every start, finishing the bridesmaid in 6 of the 8 starts since the victory. Can she go one better?

JANSSON (12) has been runner-up in 3 of his past 5 starts, including the last 2 in succession. Holding the pocket trail last start over the 2138m after starting from the 2nd line of the front tape, he was best of the chasers behind AVEROSS DON. Closing strongly the start prior, he can challenge hard.

ROCKET NOVA (3) will take benefit from his run here on Tuesday when 1st up since late March. Settling in the 1x1 trail in transit, he was within 4m of the winner SKYLINE. Only lightly raced with the 11 career starts, he can step cleanly and be close enough to feature.

REDWOOD INVASION (13) steps out in Qld for the 1st time for Jack Butler and will be asked to defy the 30m tape. 5 starts back he was only 2m in arrears of GALLEONS VICTORY at Bendigo, with that form displayed when that same winner claimed Saturday night success here at headquarters.

SELECTIONS: SOH TWISTED (2), JANSSON (12), ROCKET NOVA (3), REDWOOD INVASION (13)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

SIGNOR JUJON (10) has the lone win this season next to his name and while he faces a tough ask from outside the 2nd line, he might just have found the right race for another victory. Working home in good order last start behind leader and winner AWESOME OLLIE, he was only nabbed late the start prior. He can arrive.

INCITER (9) has found some form and lines up here after finishing in the money at his past 3 in succession. Grabbing the silver last start after finding the pocket trail from gate 5, he was 1st over the line at Redcliffe 2 starts back but was demoted to 3rd in the stewards’ room. He can challenge again.

WHERES TASCOTT (8) was locked away from inside the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe when probing for openings and grabbing the silver behind subsequent winner JACKBKWIK. She can chime in late.

FAST IS BETTOR (2) backs up from Redcliffe on Wednesday night where she looked to have the opportunity for a forward showing. A winner at the triangle 3 starts back, the gate is a plus here.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (10), INCITER (9), WHERES TASCOTT (8), FAST IS BETTOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (10) to win

RACE SIX

ALBION ARK (3) struck trouble in the run last start after beginning from inside the 2nd line. The run had merit under the circumstances to finish mid-field. Gunned down after leading them up the start prior as COPPERFIELD had the finishing magic, he will be looking to fight them all off in this.

JUST DEAL IT (7) has the carpark to overcome but looks well graded against these opponents. Tackling some stronger mare only contests in recent outings, she was lighting the lamps last start over the 2138m, fading late as SMART AS CAMM BE arrived. She can challenge against these.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (6) was trying to work into the contest last start but was just too far back after starting from the 2nd line. Hitting the line strongly from gate 11 the start prior, he has claims.

JOANNIES GIRL (1) will be 1st up since June without the benefit of a public trial and has changed stables since her last outing. Lining up here for Greg Franklin, the inside gate suits and she stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: ALBION ARK (3), JUST DEAL IT (7), CHANCELESS CENTURY (6), JOANNIES GIRL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-7

RACE SEVEN

In superb for since resuming from a spell, MADAMOISELLE JUJON (3) will have her 1st start at The Creek this term after all 6 return runs have been at Redcliffe. Winning 4 and finishing a narrow runner-up in the other 2, she lines up here after attacking the line strongly in the closing stages last start to score a smart win over the 2040m. She can go again.

FEEL LIKE DANCIN (2) was 2nd up from a break when leading throughout over the 2138m here 2 starts back and running a smart closing 800m section in the process. Leading them up from gate 6 last start when only gunned down in the latter stages, she will give them something to chase here.

LA PLAYER (6) has not been that far away in recent starts as he looks to claim his 1st Qld victory. 6m in arrears when taking on a qualifier last start, he was within 2m the start prior. The gate stings yet he drops in grade for this.

MISTER DIAMOND (1) has not really fired in recent starts from wider gates so the opportunity to get a cosy run in behind the action here should helps his claims. He will be probing for some open track.

SELECTIONS: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (3), FEEL LIKE DANCIN (2), LA PLAYER (6), MISTER DIAMOND (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

COPPICE (5) started from gate 12 last time out where he was settled at the rear of the file over the 2138m trip. Looking to find the right cart home, he ended up being the widest runner around the home bend but attacked the line hard once flattened out. Showing that he is nearing a win, he looks to get his chance in this lime-up.

NIFTY STUDELEIGH (7) has no favours from the wide gate here as he looks to build off his last start victory when arriving to claim the spoils over the 2138m trip. Warming up to that win with 3 successive placings including a close 3rd after setting the tempo, this is not too much harder.

TAAFEITE (9) resumes after 12 months on the sidelines to resume her lightly raced career. A last start winner over the mile when proving too strong, her recent trials have been pleasing and she will improve further off this.

MORESCO (3) was a winner 5 starts back when leading all the way over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Claiming 3rd placing in all 4 outings since that win, she can settle close to the action here to feature.

SELECTIONS: COPPICE (5), NIFTY STUDELEIGH (7), TAAFEITE (9), MORESCO (3)
SUGGESTED BET: COPPICE (5) to win

RACE NINE

DINA BOLT (7) will take plenty of benefit from his 1st Australian race appearance off the back of 5 months without a start. Starting fav over the 2138m, he was sent forward in the middle stages after initially retreating from gate 6. Fitter for the outing, he can overcome gate 7 to arrive.

NOTORIUS (6) eased forward early from this gate last start to find the 1x1 run in transit. Making a closing play to be within 2m of the winner, it was a tidy effort in a strong mile. Not suited at the 2138m his previous 2 starts yet still not too far off them, he can launch a claim despite the gate.

IDEAL TIGER (5) made the most of the right trip last time out to take the closing shot up the passing lane and arrive for the prize. Running some strong sectionals in recent outings, he can chime in.

LUCKY LYLA (3) has changed stables a couple of times but finds her back to the Josh Turnbull barn who have prepared the mare to all 9 of her career victories. Trialling in nice order, she will improve off the run with it being 12 months since her last appearance.

SELECTIONS: DINA BOLT (7), NOTORIUS (6), IDEAL TIGER (5), LUCKY LYLA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DINA BOLT (7) to win
