RACE TWO

This looms as a great battle with 3 horses all looking to make it 3 wins on the bounce. BITCOIN (4) was knocking on the door after some smart performances and then 2 starts back smashed that door when scoring a dominant win over the 2138m trip. Setting a career PB at the mile last start, he can get forward to land the threepeat.

BRAEBEACH (3) has successive wins over the mile and looks a very progressive type that is still honing his craft after 4 wins in just 6 starts. Sent forward from gate 7 last time, he was content to sit parked and grafted out an impressive victory. This will be his first attempt over the 2138m, but he looks up to it.

SAVING MAJOR PERCY (10) has returned from a spell in great order with successive wins at Redcliffe, the latest when swooping late and running a smart closing half to arrive. With the cart into the battle, he can feature again here.

SPORT MENTAL (1) claimed a mare’s qualifier here 3 starts back when finishing over the top of them to score in smart fashion. Buried in the run last start, she can tuck in behind here and be ready to offer.

SELECTIONS: BITCOIN (4), BRAEBEACH (3), SAVING MAJOR PERCY (10), SPORT MENTAL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BITCOIN (4) to win

RACE THREE

THE HERVEY BAY (9)
is on the back-up from Tuesday where he was sent forward to sit parked over the 2138m. Sitting outside the short pried favourite DEUS EX, he was able to really dig in for the fight to be within 4m of the winner in a strong 2138m. The 2nd line makes it tricky, but he can be strong enough to keep rolling and arrive.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6) was last seen during the Carnival when tackling the JC McMullen from inside the 2nd line. Soon shuffled out of business, the closing power up front made it a task to great for the chasers. Closing smartly 2 starts back behind LAMANDIER, he can make a closing challenge.

VOUCHERS (7) continues to be a risk at the start yet once she gets going has been finishing off her races strongly. Closing in nice order here on Tuesday behind the super impressive DEUS EX, she cannot be ruled out.
IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2) lands his best gate for some time and can look to show the early hustle to get in a forward position. Searching for gaps that did not open in time last start, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: THE HERVEY BAY (9), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6), VOUCHERS (7), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HERVEY BAY (9) to win

RACE FOUR

THE ROCKNROLL KING (10)
tackled the JC McMullen 2 starts back and was soon shuffled rearward which ended his chances as the race was dictated from the front. Stepping out here last week from gate 10, he was winding up down the stretch to really attack the line, only beaten a lip behind the in-form BITCOIN. The tempo looks right for him to arrive.

CONGO LINE (4) eased from gate 5 over the Redcliffe 1780m 2 starts back and from deep in the field was attacking the line in nice order. Freshened following that outing, he came to headquarters for his first look at The Creek and after easing from gate 7 descended on them in the stretch for a smart victory. He can throw it down once again.

MAJORCA (3) will be out to keep her undefeated run since arriving intact after successive wins at the mile and then the 2138m. Too strong last start when grinding it out first over, she is right in the fight once again.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (1) started from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and with the cosy trip was able to land hit the target with the snipers shot up the passing lane. Not much went right last time from gate 10 and she has the gate to feature here.

SELECTIONS: THE ROCKNROLL KING (10), CONGO LINE (4), MAJORCA (3), DELIGHTFUL REASON (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (1) started from inside the 2nd line last time out at Redcliffe and with the easy trip in behind the speed just could not quite reel in the leader up the passing lane. That had followed a tidy effort behind the flying YEP GOT CHOOKS and with the easy trip can hit his target with the snipers shot.

DANCINTOTHEBEAT (4) tackled the same race as GELDOF last start when settling in the running line but could not go on with it as BITCOI pulled clear to land the prize. That made it successive weeks she has clashed with the same winner, while her effort 3 back behind BRAEBEACH had merit. This looks more suitable.

PEBBLE SANDS (5) has placed in 4 of his past 5 outings, the latest when 3m in arrears of the winner after an easy trip in the trail at Redcliffe. He faces a tougher gate for this but can be thereabouts.

GELDOF (2) pounced on the poles from this same gate last week and had them rolling but was unable to see it out as BITCOIN pulled clear to score. This is a touch easier, and he can give some cheek.

SELECTIONS: IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (1), DANCINTOTHEBEAT (4), PEBBLE SANDS (5), GELDOF (2)
SUGGESTED BET: IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (1) to win

RACE SIX

Making her first appearance in Qld last start when landing gate 5, CUZIN LYNDAL (2) rolled forward to sit parked and was in for the fight. Fighting off the challengers but unable to reel in the winner LADY AVANA, it was a gritty 2nd. With the speed to take control here, she will be looking to dictate.

GENERAL MONTANA (8) faces a tricky alley here and might be looking to ease back to avoid a peg pocket. Firing off the gate to take control here on Tuesday over the 2138m trip, he could not quite see it out as LADY AVANA landed the prize. A sub 27 opening panel was his undoing the start prior and despite the sticky gate, he can challenge.

NO DOUBT (9) was too far back in the pack and not ideally suited at the 2138m here last week when unable to get warm. Runner-up at his previous4 on the bounce, he can get the right trail to make a strong closing play.

COULDNTMISAFALCON (1) released the speed last start over the 2138m and with the easy trip in behind the leader was able to hold on for the silver behind MAJORCA. With a similar trip, she can be probing for the last shot.

SELECTIONS: CUZIN LYNDAL (2), GENERAL MONTANA (8), NO DOUBT (9), COULDNTMISAFALCON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CUZIN LYNDAL (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

ARMA VEYRON (1)
made a perfect start following a state and stable switch when scoring over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Caught wide from gate 5, she rolled forward to sit parked and was too strong in claiming a 3m victory with the margin back to 3rd a big 15m. This is a step up from last start but with gate speed to call on, can look to dictate.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9) settled in the 1x1 trail last start but could not go on with it in the closing stages as MAJORCA powered home to the prize. Chasing behind the talented HEMSWORTH the start prior, he claimed victory here 3 starts back in a stronger contest and with an even rub of the green can challenge.

KARAOKE ROCK (8) has placed at his past 3 in succession, the latest when using the passing lane to be within 2m of the winner. Chasing for the silver behind HAPPY PUBLICANS 2 starts back, he will be ready to dart up the lane.

DEVOUGED (10) was sent forward from gate 6 last start before receiving cover and then made a closing rally when not too far from the winner STOKER ACE. He has podium claims once again.

SELECTIONS: ARMA VEYRON (1), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9), KARAOKE ROCK (8), DEVOUGED (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

MISTER CHISOLM (3) found his race here 4 starts back when safely into stride, working to the front and then fighting them all off to claim victory. Releasing under mobile conditions at his next start, he could not go on with it, his latest run was a tidy effort. Safely to the front, he can give them something to chase.

AVEROSS DON (12) started from a 40m tape last start and was put into the battle in the early stages to work forward and sit parked. Fading over the closing stages, it had followed a tidy effort against much stronger company. Moving forward to 30m will help and he can look to break the win drought.

MAJESTIC SPEED (10) pressed forward to take control from a 20m impost last start and once in control was able to fight off all the challengers. From the same mark in this, she can look to get forward once again and there is no reason she cannot go back-to-back.

BOURBONONTHEROCKS (9) was off the 30m tape last week and could not warm up to the task when mid-field behind MAJESTIC SPEED. A winner here 3 starts back from the mobile, she can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: MISTER CHISOLM (3), AVEROSS DON (12), MAJESTIC SPEED (10), BOURBONONTHEROCKS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:
