RACE TWO

MELTON BEACH (3) has placed in both career starts to date and finds the right race to open his account. 3rd on debut from gate 6 when only beaten a head after doing some work in transit, he was then best of the chasers behind the impressive LEAP TO FAME last start. This looks within his reach.

MAGICAL MAYA (1) is a Bettors Delight filly on debut out of the smart race mare and good producing broodmare Making Magic. Her most recent trial was a sharp piece of work and landing the good alley here on debut can challenge first up.

ZARAS A TREASURE (7) faces the tough gate here but has been consistent in her career to date, missing the board just once in 6 outings. Gunned down after setting the tempo last start, she can be chiming in here.

TIMS A TROOPER (4) makes his return following 4 starts to kick off his career earlier this season. Not too far from CLASS TO THE MAX last start, he has trialled in nice order for the return.

SELECTIONS: MELTON BEACH (3), MAGICAL MAYA (1), ZARAS A TREASURE (7), TIMS A TROOPER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON BEACH (3) to win

RACE THREE

SABRAGE (3)
has been runner-up at 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest a tough effort when forced to grind it out when parked and finishing 4m from the winner. Beaten the same margin the start prior when finding the pocket trail from gate 7, he can show his early speed to take full advantage here.

DREAM TO SHARE (4) returns to the care of Darrel Graham after his most recent start where gate 6 made it tough, retreating to secure position with the race controlled from the front in a pedestrian opening half. Tackling much stronger opponents in his prior starts, he can throw it down back to claiming grade.

EH EF EL (6) may have the wide gate but with the small field and his pattern suited to a closing swoop, it may not be all that bad. Luckless when no gaps appeared last start behind OUR BONDI BEACH, look for him late.

SELECTIONS: SABRAGE (3), DREAM TO SHARE (4), EH EF EL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SABRAGE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

CHASING GREAT (3)
found the 1x1 trail last start from the 20m tape and was making a strong closing play over the 2138m when only 1m in arrears of the winner. Buried away the start prior, he has a tidy record over the longer trip and from the 10m tape can use his good manners to be close enough to capitalise.

ONE NIGHT OUT (9) settled back in the big pack last week over the 2138m trip before making a strong closing play over the latter stages to arrive for a handy victory. Only 5m from the winner 3 starts back, he starts from the same impost here, with his record over the 13 furlongs posing a few questions.

IL PIRATA (12) nearly had his driver tipped out here on Saturday night in a sketch start but was able to reset relative quickly and find a nice rhythm. Making one last closing dive when beaten a head, he can feature again here.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (5) was a winner here 3 starts back when able to find the front and dictating terms took them all the wasy over the middle-trip. Forced to work hard in the run at her past 2, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: CHASING GREAT (3), ONE NIGHT OUT (9), IL PIRATA (12), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CHASING GREAT (3) to win

RACE FIVE

LETS HUSTLE (6) fired out of the machine last start from gate 4 to take control and was fighting hard in the closing stages to finish 3m in arrears of the winner SO MUCH MORE. Looking to work home over the top from the 2nd line here 2 starts back, he can look to nullify the wide gate early.

OFFICE BAD BOY (3) was 1st up for the new stable here last week when finding the 1x1 trail from gate 4 before having the speed to finish over the top of them and claim a narrow half-neck victory. This is a similar line up and settling in a similar position can throw it down.

WOODLANDS WONDER (1) pressed on from gate 5 to take control last start over the mile but was a spent force turning for home. Runner-up the start prior, he hast the gate to feature.

ILLBEWATCHING (2) set the speed over the Redcliffe 1780m last start and with an even tempo up front, could not see it out. A winner at 2 of his previous 3, he can be close enough to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: LETS HUSTLE (6), OFFICE BAD BOY (3), WOODLANDS WONDER (1), ILLBEWATCHING (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS HUSTLE (6) to win

RACE SIX

A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (4)
was forced to grind it out last start when sitting parked over the mile and faded in the closing stages under the toil. Trying to take them all the way 2 starts back over the 2138m, she was a head shy of victory as HAPPY PUBLICANS took the win. This looks her chance to cash-in after 4 placings in her 5 starts here.

OCTOBER RACKETEER (6) took control from gate 2 over the Redcliffe 1780m last start and setting the speed was worried out of it to finish a head from the winner. Only 4m from the winner 2 starts back, the gate stings but with even luck in transit can be right in the fight.

MOTU AMETHYST (2) found the pocket trail from gate 2 last start and after the easy trip was trying to close it out when 8m from the winner. Settling close to the action she can be thereabouts again.

FAIRIESDELIGHT (3) will take good benefit from her latest outing when resuming from a spell. Finding the 1x1 trail, she was sound to the line when 8m away. Yet to find consistency here at The Creek, she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (4), OCTOBER RACKETEER (6), MOTU AMETHYST (2), FAIRIESDELIGHT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

SNUGGLES BANYULA (1)
was stepping out for the Dixon stable for the first time here last week when easing from ate 5 to secure running line position. Working into the clear, she had the closing speed to claim victory. Luckless the start prior in a mares qualifier, she comes up with the options to take this.

GINGER MICKY (2) was rolling forward from gate 4 last time out before receiving cover over the mile. Making a closing shot, he was 2m from the winner CHARMING CHARLOTTE. Beaten by the 2nd line the start prior, he can be close enough to the action to throw down a challenge.

ITS MR CLOONEY (9) should be tightened from his latest appearance when returning from a freshen. Sent for the let-up following the Showcase Final 2 runs back, he was strong to the line behind the flying MAJORCA last start. He can make a play here.

ASCALABUS (10) was having his first run back from a spell last start with an interrupted career where he has started just three times since December 2019. Strong to the line in the closing stages, he can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS: SNUGGLES BANYULA (1), GINGER MICKY (2), ITS MR CLOONEY (9), ASCALABUS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SNUGGLES BANYULA (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

BLACK HAWK JOE (10)
was sent forward from gate 5 here on Saturday night and obliged to sit parked was in for the grind before wilting in the latter stages over the 2138m trip. Beaten a lip the start prior after starting from inside the 2nd line, he strikes the right contest to cash-in here.

LEFT A TERROR (8) will be requiring a slice of luck to go his way as he looks in danger of being buried in the run. Striking trouble last start that saw him down the line, he chased hard behind TOMYMY LINCOLN the start prior. From the gate he will be probing.

LITTLE CHANGE (1) eased from gate 5 at Redcliffe last start before making a wide run over the latter stages to be 4m from the winner. With a cosy trip he can be making a closing play.

STREET APPEAL (7) found the front from this gate last start and was trying to fend off the challengers when fading late. Sharp off the arm, he will be up in the firing line here.

SELECTIONS: BLACK HAWK JOE (10), LEFT A TERROR (8), LITTLE CHANGE (1), STREET APPEAL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BLACK HAWK JOE (10) to win

RACE NINE

HAPPY PUBLICANS (10) has been in super form in recent outings with a top-two finish in 6 of his past 7 appearances. Making a strong closing play over the mile last start, he loomed strongly before SO MUCH MORE had too many closing bullets. With versatility to call on, he can capitalise.

FLIGHT CREW (2) eased from gate 7 last start to secure position before attacking the line strongly over the closing stages to grab the bronze behind SNUGGLES BANYULA. Snagged back the start prior before being strong to the line over the closing stages, the removal of the ODM tag is a big plus and she can look to throw it down.

COULDNTMISAFALCON (9) was runner up from the pocket trail 2 starts back when using the pocket trail as the flying MAJORCA took the prize. 6m from the winner last start when sent to the post as fav, she can feature in this.

MAGICOL IDEAL (1) should appreciate the improved gate in this line-up after a string of wide alleys. Sent to the breeze last start from gate 9, he can be sharper and make a podium play in this.

SELECTIONS: HAPPY PUBLICANS (10), FLIGHT CREW (2), COULDNTMISAFALCON (9), MAGICOL IDEAL (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

BLUE MOON RISING (8) broke through for a qualifying win here on Saturday night in nice order. Settling near the rear of the pack, he made full use of the smaller field to charge home down the outside to take the prize. Buried here and needing space 2 back, he can be coiled and ready to strike.

THE HERVEY BAY (7) started from inside the 2nd line last start which is not the best fit for his pattern when buried in the run and searching for the gaps as ANOTHER STATEMENT prevailed. Runner-up at his previous 2 starts, he might need to roll the sleeves here but looks up to the task.

SOHO SINATRA (6) features in a barn switch to join the Shawn Grimsey team. Buried away from inside the 2nd line last start, he was strong to the line behind VIRGIL. Holding on for the bronze 2 back behind CAPTAIN CRUSADER, he can feature.

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (2) returns to the Vicki Rasmussen camp following 3 runs back from a spell. Down the line last start behind VIRGIL from the 2nd line, he secures his best alley this prep and can be sharper for this.

SELECTIONS: BLUE MOON RISING (8), THE HERVEY BAY (7), SOHO SINATRA (6), GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-6-7-8
