RACE TWO

GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (5) started from the six-hole last time out when eased off the gate to settle at the rear of the pack over the 2040m trip. Making his move, he loomed up strongly and then went bang in the stretch, pulling clear to a stylish victory. With similar tactics he can look for the repeat.

ARK ME (1) released the speed over this trip last start from this same gate and made a closing dive when a half-neck from the leader and winner CARLOS BROMAC. Down the line the start prior, she comes up with all the options from this gate to make a serious challenge.

MEGA STAR (8) should find this a shade easier than his past 2 assignments where he has grabbed the bronze on each occasion. Looking to take them all the way last start over the middle trip, he faded in the closing stages as NORTORIOUS arrived. He can feature again here.

DANCINTOTHEBEAT (2) eased to secure position last start over the AP mile before really rattling home in the closing stages to grab the bronze when only 2m away. 1 from 1 here at The Triangle, she is right in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (5), ARK ME (1), MEGA STAR (8), DANCINTOTHEBEAT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (5) to win

RACE THREE

CHANCELESS CENTURY (2)
has been without a win since April but looks to have found the ideal race to adjust that record. Buried in the run last start from inside the 2nd line, it was a sound effort while gate 9 was his undoing the start prior. No closer than gate 4 his past 19 starts in succession, he finds the opportunity to dictate.

FLO RYDA (9) was asked to hang tough and face the breeze last start and was in for the fight when 5m from the winner. Runner-up 2 starts back when charging down the stretch to be just a neck in arrears of the winner, it followed a win from gate 6. Look for him swooping in the closing stages.

BONDI SHAKE (7) has been hitting some nice areas of The Triangle in recent starts, finishing with the silver last start following 3 successive wins. Likely buried in the run, he will be probing.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1) was a winner here 4 runs back when settling against the poles before charging home in the closing stages to claim success. Not too far away in 3 runs since, the inside alley is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: CHANCELESS CENTURY (2), FLO RYDA (9), BONDI SHAKE (7), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: 1-2-7-9

RACE FOUR

Plenty of form for a Wednesday race in this battle with 4 last start winners lining up. LIFEINHEAVEN (2) had been building towards a victory with some strong outings and franked that here last week when finishing over the top of them to take an expanding 7m victory. Settling handy to the action can see her repeat.

THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (5) has put together a superb record on The Triangle where he has recorded 9 wins in 14 starts complemented with finishing as the runner-up on aa further 3 occasions. Overcoming the inside 2nd line to arrive last start, he can get forward to throw it down.

CALL ME DIVA (7) settled in the 1x1 trail from the 2nd line last start and had the bullets to fire in the stretch when charging home to arrive. Only a nose away the start prior, she will be probing.

ALTANA BLUE (8) settled rearward from gate 9 last start before making his play in the latter stages to charge over the top of them. A winner at 3 of his past 5 starts, he can be working into this.

SELECTIONS: LIFEINHEAVEN (2), THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (5), CALL ME DIVA (7), ALTANA BLUE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

MISTER COLE (8) was on his toes before the start here last time out and a bit fizzy that saw him forced to sit parked after needing to be balanced up out of the machine. Luckless the start prior when searching for gaps that never opened, he can trail through here and be ready to swoop.

PACIFIC COIN (3) rolled forward from gate 5 last time out and was obliged to do it the tough way when sitting parked outside the leader. Fading under the toil over the latter stages, it followed successive placings including a smart 3rd when working home from back in the pack. The improved gate is a big plus.

LA PISTOLA (7) angled to the pegs from gate 8 last start to be 3 back and was hampered when the leader hoisted the white flag. Runner-up his previous 2 in succession, he will be searching for gaps.

HANOVER LECTER (2) was beaten by gate 5 last start when retreating early but never really getting warm thereafter. Fading after sitting parked the start prior, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MISTER COLE (8), PACIFIC COIN (3), LA PISTOLA (7), HANOVER LECTER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER COLE (8) to win

RACE SIX

TORQUE IN CONTROL (8)
had no luck last start when sent to the post as favourite but was left searching for the gaps and looking for the openings that did not prevail. Forced to do it the tough way the start prior, she can follow through early here and be ready to descend on them.

BARBOO (9) had been building towards an overdue victory with 7 successive placings and finally landed the breakthrough here 3 starts back when leading throughout. Pressing forward to find the front here last start he added another victory. The gate makes it tough, but he can challenge.

MELTON LUCKY (1) was returning from a spell last start when eased away from the pegs to find the running line in the early stages. With the options from the ace, he can make a play.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (7) made the most of a good alley here last start to pounce on the poles and then lead throughout for a comfortable victory. He will get an economical trip and be searching for openings.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE IN CONTROL (8), BARBOO (9), MELTON LUCKY (1), THE RAGNBONE MAN (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

TEE JAY CEE (5)
lands another tough gate after facing a string of wide gates. Snagging back from gate 6 over the AP mile last start, he was never in the mix as RACY ROXY dominated. Freshened since that appearance, he can overcome the gate to arrive here.

PATCHWORK JET (1) was a winner here 6 starts back from this gate over this trip when taking the trail and then making the closing shot a winning one up the passing lane. Runner-up 2 starts back in the same scenario he will be ready to strike in the stretch.

RANCHO MAN (4) has grabbed the bronze in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when gunned down here over this trip last start. He can fire some early bullets to feature here.

JET FORCE (7) has been the runner-up at 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when looking to take them all the way from gate 1. Grabbed in the closing stages by CALL ME DIVA, he will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: TEE JAY CEE (5), PATCHWORK JET (1), RANCHO MAN (4), JET FORCE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TEE JAY CEE (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5)
has now placed in 4 of his past 5 outings, the latest when making a late dive to be just a neck in arrears of the winner. Wide off the track from the 2nd line the start prior, he was runner-up when just one metre away and although he faces a sticky gate, this looks a great chance for a breakthrough.

AURORA ROSE (9) held the pocket trail last start and with the perfect trip in behind the speed had the power to pounce in the stretch and claim victory by a half-head. With the right cart into the contest here, she can make a closing challenge.

GHOST GUM (7) found the front before releasing last start and then in was further shuffled to 3 back along the poles. Trying to launch a closing raid, he was only 4m from the winner in claiming the bronze. He will be probing again here.

MUSTANG DUDE (2) easily held them out from gate 1 last time out and with a pedestrian opening half was able to fight them off in the closing stages. Settling handy he can feature again in this.

SELECTIONS: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5), AURORA ROSE (9), GHOST GUM (7), MUSTANG DUDE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5) to win

RACE NINE

MISTER ROCKTOBER (1)
is moving ever closer to overturning the winless record, having placed his past 2 in succession. From the pocket trail last start after beginning from inside the 2nd line, he held on for the silver. With the options from the good gate, he can open the account in this mixed maiden.

GOODTIME ROY (9) is a 2YO veteran of just 3 starts and has clashed with some handy pacers of his age in all 3 outings. His past 2 starts have been through the APG Brisbane Sales Series where his effort was good in the Final behind MY ULTIMATE LEVI. The gate is tough at his first look at Redcliffe, but he can throw it down.

SIR HASZEM (6) has no favours from outside the front line but if able to find a position without overdoing it early, he has podium claims. Placed in 3 of his past 5, he can chime in.

GULMARG (4) has been to the well 11 times in his first season and has come up short on each occasion. Chasing hard last start behind ANSONS BAY, he can be thereabouts in this line up.

SELECTIONS: MISTER ROCKTOBER (1), GOODTIME ROY (9), SIR HASZEM (6), GULMARG (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

HARLEY BLUE (4) has placed on 5 occasions as she searches for the elusive maiden breaking success. Hitting the line strongly in the closing stages in the APG Final last start when only 2m from the winner MY ULTIMATE LEVI, it followed a 3rd to CAT KING COLE in the heat. She sights The Triangle for the first time but can make it a winning visit.

BETTING ORIGIN (5) was first up following a stable switch last start when eased away from inside the 2nd line in the early stages to be sent forward and put into the battle. Pressing on to take control, he was fighting hard when only a head in arrears of the winner BEACH MAGIC. Another heading to the Peninsula for the first time, he can make a challenge.

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (2) pounced on the poles last time out from gate 1 when looking to lead throughout but could not repel the closing challengers in holding 3rd. Back to her same age can see her feature.

SELECTIONS: HARLEY BLUE (4), BETTING ORIGIN (5), WONDERWOMAN JUJON (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HARLEY BLUE (4) to win
