RACE TWO

BONNIES CAM (3) started from the 2nd line here last time out and did not get warm over the latter stages when midfield behind LA SAFRON. Runner-up the start prior over the Marburg 1850m, he can settle closer to the action here and gets his chance to land the prize.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (1) was buried in the run from inside the 2nd line last start and was making some nice metres in the stretch when 4m in arrears of the winner ARTISTIC SAINT. Tackling a much tougher contest the start prior, he comes up with the alley to make a serious challenge.

LA SAFRON (4) has been hitting some nice arears with 2 wins in his past 5 outings. Making the most of gate 1 to lead throughout last start, his win 5 back was when working over the top. He is right in the mix again here.

NIKALONG HENRY (5) was asked to sit parked last start and after the tough run wilted late to be midfield behind MISSINMEMATE. Gate 6 was his undoing the start prior and stung again from this alley is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: BONNIES CAM (3), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (1), LA SAFRON (4), NIKALONG HENRY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (3) to win

RACE THREE

THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (3)
started from the five-hole last start when sent forward to sit parked and after doing all the bullocking work was in for the fight when within 1.5m of the winner. Too slick once he found space from the pocket trail the start prior, he can look to dictate terms.

DYNAMIC BROMAC (5) has the wide gate to negotiate but this is a sharp drop in grade to what he has been facing. Closing out nicely last start when 6m from IN CHEVRON WE TRUST, the start prior he was beaten by gate 7 behind the airborne YEP GOT CHOOKS. This is well within reach.

MY CHINA DOLL (1) has been kept fresh since her last appearance when gunned down after setting the speed over this trip. Down the line the start prior behind GET EADY TO ROCK, she can chime in.

LORIMER LADY (2) was a winner here 3 starts back when taking them all the way from gate 1 to claim victory by 3m. Down the line at her past 2, she can tuck in here for an improved effort.

SELECTIONS: THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (3), DYNAMIC BROMAC (5), MY CHINA DOLL (1), LORIMER LADY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (3) to win

RACE FOUR
LETS BLAZE (8)
looks to get into this race on a nice class drop after meeting much stronger opponents in recent outings. Strong to the line last start over the AP mile behind SO MUCH MORE, it followed a nice 2nd after coming from deep in the pack here 2 starts back. He can cash-in here.

CANNAN (4) was shooting for the hat-trick here last time out when asked to race tough in the breeze. Fading under the workload, it had followed 2 wins in 3 days including an all the way win over the 1780m trip. Limiting the burn will be key to his challenging chances.

REGALIA (2) was a winner here 3 starts back when returning from a spell and finishing over the top of them from the 2nd line. Only 2m away last start after showing some early speed, he is in the mix.

CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (1) was a winner here 3 starts back when finishing strongly over the top of them to take the prize. He could not warm up last start from the running line but should enjoy the soft trip here.

SELECTIONS: LETS BLAZE (8), CANNAN (4), REGALIA (2), CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS BLAZE (8) to win

RACE FIVE

ROYAL PRINCESS (8) was a winner here 2 starts back when sent forward from gate 4 to find a position before ultimately settling in the 1x1 trail. Weaving a passage over the last 300m to arrive for a narrow victory, she followed it with a close 2nd last start when beaten a head. She can arrive.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (9) was put on the front-end last start from gate 3 and after a pedestrian opening half looked to hold all the aces. Unfortunately, he did not hold the winning hand and was trumped when ARTISTIC SAINT arrived. The gate is not ideal, but he can challenge against this field.

OUR PEPPERJACK (3) eased from gate 4 to find position last start but was making some nice metres in the latter stages when 4m in arrears of the winner. Settling handy he is a podium hope in this.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6) faces a tough ask from the wide gate, but his form has ben sound of late, hitting the line in nice style. Only 2m away last time, he can be making a closing play.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL PRINCESS (8), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (9), OUR PEPPERJACK (3), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL PRINCESS (8) to win

RACE SIX

TODAYS HERO (1)
started as the punters elect last start from gate 4 but when unable to get across to the poles at the start was forced to do it the tough way. He looks better suited here and with the benefit of the inside line can keep them wide and looks to get every chance to break a winning drought.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start when sent to the post as fav and was making some late metres to grab the bronze when only 1m from the winner. Runner-up here 3 starts back when resuming from a break, he can be close to the action to throw it down here.

LORD DENZEL (5) was buried away last start and trailed them in over the AP mile which followed a tidy effort here from back in the pack. The gate is not ideal but a return to The Triangle helps.

PURPLE SHADES (7) has been 18 months since he last tasted a victory drink, but he has been sound of late and looks set to get the right trip here. If he has momentum at the lane, start 100 could be memorable.

SELECTIONS: TODAYS HERO (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2), LORD DENZEL (5), PURPLE SHADES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TODAYS HERO (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2)
was beaten for early speed over the AP mile last time out when landing gate 1 and was soon buried 3 back against the poles. Unable to get going late, it had followed a win here when taking them all the way from gate 1 over the 1780m. With early options he can capitalise.

STUDLEIGH WILL (3) will take good benefit from his run here last time out when returning from a spell. Burrowing through to protect the poles from gate 1, he was only overpowered in the closing stages in holding on for the silver. Fitter from that, he can get forward to challenge.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (9) made the most of conditions last start when firing off the arm to take control from gate 3 and was never headed thereafter. Fitter for the run, she is in the mix again.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (4) had a shot for the leading duties from this gate last start but was repelled and obliged to sit parked. Only wilting in the closing stages, he can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2), STUDLEIGH WILL (3), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (9), FORTYFIVE ROCK (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

TURN TURN FLYER (4)
did some early work before receiving cover here 2 starts back and was sound to the line behind TULHURST LOVER. Asked to grind it out when parked last start, it has been a while between winning drinks. Limiting the early burn can see him thru that around.

WEASEL (8) keeps on keeping on and his most recent start was not suited when starting from gate 1 where he was soon shuffled away in the pack. Making some nice metres the start prior when 7m from LITTLEDEE, this gate looks ok for him, and he can press through to make a challenge.

OKANES DEVIL (1) was buried in the run last start and once back in the pack did not really make a threat although was not beaten too far. Against these opponents from this alley, he gets a chance.

JOHNROD (5) has not been too far away as he searches for his 2nd career victory. Needing a gap, a little sooner to get closer last start, he can be chiming into the minors from this alley.

SELECTIONS: TURN TURN FLYER (4), WEASEL (8), OKANES DEVIL (1), JOHNROD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN TURN FLYER (4) to win

RACE NINE

TEACHERS PET (8) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was soon buried in the run and then when the space was available, she was just too far away to make a play. Wide out the start prior when trying to make a play, with even luck she may just have found a race for a breakthrough.

CLEVER COWBOY (4) arrives in Qld the winner of just the one race with his most recent form around the Hunter Valley region of NSW. Banished to the trials for making an error last start, he has earned the return with a nice hit out and first up for Chloe Butler can make a challenge.

DUKE (2) was locked away from inside the 2nd line last start and was sound to the line when 3rd behind HARRY CROFT. Not much went right the start prior, but he is in the mix here.

DIGYOURHEELSIN (9) has featured in a switch of barns, joining the Colin Godden team. With a nice trial on Thursday when only a neck from the experienced ALI DOWNUNDER, she stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (8), CLEVER COWBOY (4), DUKE (2), DIGYOURHEELSIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET:
