RACE TWO

AUNTY FRANCES (7)
will need a slice of luck at some stage to find the open spaces but comes into this race with placings in 3 of her past 5 outings. Sent forward to sit parked last time, she was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze behind SPECIAL MEANING. Just needs a rub of the green.

EAGLES RESPONSE (6) is given no favours from out in the car park but should appreciate a drop to this grade of battle. Wilting last start after forced to grind it out when parked, that made it successive starts when doing the heavy lifting. A sharper effort can be expected in this line up.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1) is approaching 18 months since she was able to claim her only race victory. With the benefit of the pole, she should be in position to fill a podium spot.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (2) eased from gate 5 to find position here 2 starts back when grabbing 3rd, albeit over 17m from the winner ROCKNHOLME. Settling handy she has place claims.

SELECTIONS: AUNTY FRANCES (7), EAGLES RESPONSE (6), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1), IM A CLASSY GIRL (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

MISTY CREEK (6)
is still just a 2YO but has been taking care of the older horses with all 7 of his wins her on The Triangle when defeating older rivals. Spearing out from this alley last start to take control, he was able to pinch a steady opening half that allowed him to dial it up for a strong close out. He can add another win to the tally.

RISKY BUZINESS (1) is a speedy beginner that comes up trumps from this alley and puts the ball squarely in his court. Pressing on to take them all the way on Sunday night from gate 3, he was able to dictate a steady opening half and hold on for the prize. The gate gives him the challenging chance.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (5) was a winner here 2 starts back when sent forward from the 2nd line and content to sit parked was able to grind it out. Runner-up last start over the AP mile, he is in the mix.

FEEL THE THRILL (7) looks set to enjoy the cosy trip in behind the speed and will be probing for the passing lane when the gaps present. Placed at his past 2 starts, he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (6), RISKY BUZINESS (1), THE CASUAL GOOSE (5), FEEL THE THRILL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-6-7

RACE FOUR

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (7)
held the pocket trail last start from the ace over the AP mile. Chasing hard she was 5m in arrears of the winner TRACER BULLET. Hitting the line in nice style the start prior, she should be camped in behind the speed here ready to make the closing shot a winner.

SCHOOBY (1) fired out from gate 2 to set the speed last start. Kept honest in front, it was an even tempo through the first three panels, leaving him with limited closing power. An all the way winner from this gate 5 runs back, if he can pinch a panel or 2 in front, he can throw down the challenge.

TURN TURN FLYER (2) started from inside the 2nd line last start when buried in the run and searching for a way clear. Just 5m from the winner TULHURST LOVER, he will be in the mix again here.

DATSINAHURRI (5) goes in search of a hat-trick of victories after successive wins here over the sprint trip. Leading throughout in both those victories, the gate stings in the hunt for the threepeat.

SELECTIONS: KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (7), SCHOOBY (1), TURN TURN FLYER (2), DATSINAHURRI (5)
SUGGESTED BET: KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (7) to win

RACE FIVE

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (2) has been without a win in over 4 years, but has he found the conditions to turn it all around? Placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, he faded last time after forced to do some early work. Best of the chasers behind handy 2YO ROSES ARE SWEET 2 starts back, he can set the target.

JACKEROO SHANNON (8) will step out here on The Triangle for the first time after his first Qld start last week at The Creek. Soon buried in the run from the pole in that outing, he was sound to the line behind the smart 2YO AWAYWEGO. Pressing through early to secure position can see him challenge.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9) pressed forward from gate 4 here last time out to find the front and once in control held off the challengers to claim victory. The gate dampens his chances this time.

VERMONT (1) eased from gate 5 last start to find position and was making strong ground over the closing stages to grab the silver when 4m from the winner. The good alley gives her strong claims.

SELECTIONS: NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (2), JACKEROO SHANNON (8), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9), VERMONT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

ILLBEWATCHING (2)
was runner-up here 3 starts back when showing the early hustle but unable to cross secured running line cover. Making a closing dive to be just a half-head in arrears, he followed it with a half-neck defeat. With the speed to avail early options, he gets his chance to capitalise.

ALLSTAR SEA (3) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories last start when beaten in red figures from inside the 2nd line. Too strong here 2 starts back when sitting parked over the sprint trip and pulling clear for an 11m victory, he can settle close enough to throw down the challenge once again.

KOTARE ELITE (1) rolled forward to be first to the pegs before releasing the speed over the AP mile last time and from the trail held the silver behind AWAYWEGO. The gate is a big help.

NON PASSARE (8) is a last start winner after finishing over the top of them and pulling clear to an 11m victory. He can be hard to catch but he is going well enough to feature in this.

SELECTIONS: ILLBEWATCHING (2), ALLSTAR SEA (3), KOTARE ELITE (1), NON PASSARE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLBEWATCHING (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

SPEED OF SOUND (4)
fired out from gate 3 last start to take control and from the front kept them rolling and held off the chasers to claim an all the way win. A passing lane winner at The Creek 3 starts back, her record on this track is solid with 2 wins and a 2nd in 3 attempts and she can build on that here.

JAZIAH (8) started from this same gate last time out when settling in the running line and owning the best closing speed to arrive for victory by a half-neck. Just 2m in arrears of the winner the start prior, she can look to follow through to secure position and throw down the challenge.

SWEET LOMBO (5) looked to take them all the way last start over the 2138m trip at headquarters and was in front deep into the stretch, only collared up the passing lane. He can feature again.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (1) eased from gate 6 over the AP mile last start and could have been closer than the 10m margin with better luck in transit. With the cosy trip on offer, she can be probing.

SELECTIONS: SPEED OF SOUND (4), JAZIAH (8), SWEET LOMBO (5), MOLLIESMARYELLE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEED OF SOUND (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

JILLIBY JACKPOT (5)
was beaten buy a wide gate in a much tougher battle over the AP mile last start when retreating and unable to eat into the deficit against the tempo as GENERAL MONTANA landed the prize. Not far away after striking trouble the start prior, a strong tempo will aid his chances.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (8) arrives in Qld to join the Mark Rees team, his last start returning a midfield result over the Bathurst 1730m trip when beaten in red figures from gate 7. His previous 2 starts cam from the 2nd line around the tight Blayney track and he stays under notice first up.

PEBBLE SANDS (1) made the most of gate 2 here 4 runs back to pounce on the poles and once in front held off the chasers. Angled to the pegs last start and not in the mix, the gate opens the options here.

SHE OWNS THE DAY (3) kept them wide from gate 1 last time and once in control was never headed in claiming victory by 2m. Hitting the line in nice style the start prior, she can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY JACKPOT (5), CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (8), PEBBLE SANDS (1), SHE OWNS THE DAY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY JACKPOT (5) to win

RACE NINE

MISTER DIAMOND (8)
rolled forward from gate 6 last start over the AP mile and sitting parked was game in defeat. Holding on for the bronze when just 3m from the winner AMERICAN FLYER, it followed a forget run where he was wide, and nothing went to plan. This will be his first outing on The Triangle, and he finds the right conditions to make it a winning debut.

THERESACHANCE (2) has great speed out of the machine and comes up with the gate to fire the first shot. Eased from a wide gate last start when tackling a qualifier, he faded the start prior after setting the speed from gate 3. From the front, pinching a panel or two can see him challenge for the prize.

JUST JOSHIN (5) was sent forward last start to find the front for just the 2nd time in 39 starts this season. It proved a winning move, holding on to claim a narrow win and he can feature again here.

MEGA STAR (1) was asked to work hard last start when having a shot for the front before sitting parked thereafter. Only 7m in arrears, he has the gate to be in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DIAMOND (8), THERESACHANCE (2), JUST JOSHIN (5), MEGA STAR (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
