RACE TWO

FAIRIESDELIGHT (2)
has developed a smart record here at The Peninsula with 3 wins in 4 starts including a tough effort when parked here last week. Fighting hard in the run, she claimed a gritty victory in slick time. With the gate to take control, she looks too slippery again here.

IL MAXIMUS (9) eased from gate 5 here 2 starts back and was wide off the track when looming into the contest and just a head from the winner. Beaten by the tempo last start where the winner HAMMERTIME HARLEY ripped home from the front. With even luck he can make a challenge.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (5) was sent forward to get outside the leader last time out over the sprint trip and was game in defeat when within 3m of the winner. He may need to roll the sleeves again.

FIRE AND ICE (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell. Eased to the poles last start, he was not too far from them and with the improved alley is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FAIRIESDELIGHT (2), IL MAXIMUS (9), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (5), FIRE AND ICE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FAIRIESDELIGHT (2) to win

RACE THREE

IM JIMMY JAMES (3)
has shown improvement at each of his 3 Qld starts to the point of landing his first win when finishing over the top of them here last week. Settling in the running line from a 2nd line gate, he powered home to claim an 11m margin. From the improved alley he can cash-in.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (1) was an all the way winner over the AP sprint trip 4 starts back when firing out from gate 4 and fighting them off to claim a narrow victory. Grabbed in the closing stages last start when setting the speed, he has the options over the middle trip to make the challenge.

THE MAHARANI (4) resumes from a spell and will step out in Qld for the first time for Darren McCall. Midfield last start at Penrith after pressing forward, she can feature fresh.

THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (2) started from gate 6 last time out when easing across to find the 1x1 trail and then finishing just a neck from the winner. Firing early bullets, the distance is the query.

SELECTIONS: IM JIMMY JAMES (3), IMA BIRUBI BOY (1), THE MAHARANI (4), THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: IM JIMMY JAMES (3) to win

RACE FOUR

BIG WHEELS (1)
started from the ace last start over the AP mile and after pinching a steady 2nd panel could not repel the closing power of MANILA PLAYBOY. A winner at his previous 2 in succession, both when leading all the way, he lands the alley to try to look for an all the way victory.

JASPER (7) tackled the older horses last start when finding the 1x1 trail from gate 3. Saved for the closing shot, she owned the best finishing speed to claim a half-neck winning margin. Chasing home for the bronze behind MANILA PLAYBOY 2 starts back, she will be stalking the speed waiting for the gaps.

CHAMONIX (4) was huge in defeat 2 starts back when easing from gate 7 before running some slick closing panels despite not featuring in the numbers. Runner-up to CAPTAINS PICK last start, he is in the mix.

SCOTCH EN ICE (6) was in the pocket trail last start behind BIG WHEELS and could not go with them in the closing stages. Completing a hat-trick of wins the start prior, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BIG WHEELS (1), JASPER (7), CHAMONIX (4), SCOTCH EN ICE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG WHEELS / JASPER (1/7) quinella/exacta

RACE FIVE

CLASS TO THE MAX (1) takes his first look at The Triangle and comes into this second-up after a smart return win last time out. Sent straight to the front from gate 1 over the AP mile, he was never in danger when leading throughout. With the alley to capitalise, he can arrive.

ALTA REVELRY (4) is undefeated in 2 Qld starts, the latest here at Redcliffe when pressing on to take control and from the front pulled clear to claim a 17m winning margin. A 20m debut winner on debut, he looks a classy customer and can look to make the challenge.

MISTY CREEK (2) has missed the money just once in 11 starts here at Redcliffe, which includes 7 victories. Grabbed in the closing stages last start when leading from gate 6, he can dart in behind the speed here and be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: CLASS TO THE MAX (1), ALTA REVELRY (4), MISTY CREEK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASS TO THE MAX (1) to win

RACE SIX

L L COOL J (6)
is 2 from 2 here at Redcliffe, with both wins coming in feature events. Wide off the track last start when trying to make a move to get into the contest, he was 5m from the winner. Not much went his way the start prior in the Qld Cup and although yet to show his best this campaign, this looks his chance to rebound.

SAM IS PERFECTION (5) settled in the running line in a rearward position last start and was trying to warm up over the closing stages when 4th behind SCARLET BABE. Just a nose from DEUS EX 3 starts back, he has a wide gate to negotiate to make the challenge.

LIFES BLACK (3) tackled the AP Members Cup last start when eased from gate 12 to the pegs. Picking off some metres over the closing stages, he will appreciate the return to The Triangle off the front line.

SQUIRE (8) was trying to launch a closing raid last start when midfield behind SCARLET BABE. Grinding out a determined 3rd when just a neck from DEUS EX 3 starts back, he has placed in 3 of his 5 starts at Redcliffe, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: L L COOL J (6), SAM IS PERFECTION (5), LIFES BLACK (3), SQUIRE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: L L COOL J (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

SUNNY COVE (2)
was on debut last start when starting deep in the red from an inside 2nd line gate. Still very green, he was taking a good look around and made a closing dive to get within a flared nostril of success. With the improved gate and added experience, he can open the account.

MY GIRL BLAZE (5) has placed in 3 of her 9 career starts in search of the breakthrough. Forced to grind it out when parked and game in defeat to grab the silver 3 starts back, she held the bronze at her next start. The wide gate is not ideal, but she can look to throw it down again.

GAME KEEPER (9) finished midfield last start after finding the pocket trail from gate 3 as TEE RAVELLING pulled clear for the prize. The gate stings but she can chime in for the minors.

FLASH FREDDIE (8) will take added benefit from his latest appearance when 2nd up from 12-months off the scene. Setting the speed last start before wilting, he can follow through to feature.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY COVE (2), MY GIRL BLAZE (5), GAME KEEPER (9), FLASH FREDDIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY COVE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

SHES ALL STAR (4)
pressed on to take control from this same alley last start and from the front was never in danger, pulling clear to take an 8m winning margin. Obliged to do it the tough way the start prior, she is a four-time winner here on The Triangle and looks the one to stop here.

WEDDING NIGHT (2) has started from the 2nd line at her past 2 starts, the latest when locked away and not finding the gaps when needed. Runner-up 4 starts back from gate 5 when sent to sit parked, a tighter alley is in her favour, and she can fire the early bullets to make her challenge.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (8) was buried away 3 back against the poles last start and when the gaps opened was able to show the speed to arrive for the prize. Runner-up 2 starts back; he can chime in once again.

AROONA (3) showed the early speed to find the pegs last start before releasing for the trail and finishing best of the chasers behind SHES ALL STAR. Settling handy he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SHES ALL STAR (4), WEDDING NIGHT (2), CARIBBEAN ROCKET (8), AROONA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SHES ALL STAR (4) to win

RACE NINE

DOUG (6)
has the 30m tape to overcome but that will be offset to some degree with the small field. Shooting for the hat-trick after successive wins over the AP 2647m trip, his manners have been sharper and with the right trip, he can look to finish over the top to claim the threepeat.

IM THE COMMANDO (1) started from a 10m tape over the 2647m trip at headquarters two starts back when settling in the 1x1 trail. With the best closing speed, he was able to claim the victory. From the good gate, he will be right in the fight.

IMA CALVERT ROSE (3) took on mobile conditions last start when finding the pocket trail from gate 3 before making a closing play to grab the silver behind MAJESTIC MANNEQUIN. Yet to hit the board in 8 outings here at Redcliffe, she can rectify that here.

SELECTIONS: DOUG (6), IM THE COMMANDO (1), IMA CALVERT ROSE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DOUG (6) to win

RACE TEN

IM LOKI (4)
has won 2 of his 3 starts since arriving in Qld with Narissa McMullen, the latest when spacing his rivals at Marburg with a power running display from the front. Posting a huge 33m margin in that contest, he can get forward from this alley and look to cash-in once again.

REGRETABLE (2) held the front from gate 1 last start and trying to fight them off when holding on for the bronze and finishing 3m from the winner. 2m in arrears here 3 starts back when grabbed in the latter stages, she has the gate to settle on the speed and throw down the challenge.

MISTER WOODPORT (6) was sent to the breeze from gate 5 last start and after the tough trip wilted and was banished to the trials. Earning the return, he has podium claims here.

SCHOOBY (1) tried to take them all the way from this same alley and was fighting hard when collared but able to hold on for the bronze. The gate gives him the chance to feature.

SELECTIONS: IM LOKI (4), REGRETABLE (2), MISTER WOODPORT (6), SCHOOBY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: IM LOKI (4) to win
