RACE TWO

OLD ENGLISH (1)
started from inside the 2nd line last start when striking some trouble in a midfield finish. Finding similar issues the start prior when down the line as DATALDO claimed a dominant win, he will appreciate a big improvement in starting barriers and gets his chance for a Qld breakthrough.

MAGICAL MAYA (3) resumes from a spell without the benefit of a public trial. Last campaign in just two starts, she was runner-up on debut to subsequent G1 winner TIMS A TROOPER and followed that with a win here from gate 9 in smart fashion. If forward enough in condition, she can challenge.

MOONLITE DIVA (9) returns from a break after starting her career in perfect order with a win on debut here back in October. The gate makes it tricky, but she stays under notice.

AUNTY FRANCES (5) is afforded no favours from this alley but should find this grade more suitable after her last start when just 4m from REGAL NIGHTSHADE. Placed her previous 2, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: OLD ENGLISH (1), MAGICAL MAYA (3), MOONLITE DIVA (9), AUNTY FRANCES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: OLD ENGLISH (1) to win

RACE THREE

VODKA EN ICE (2)
finds one last opportunity to claim a victory in his 2YO season and with the benefit of the good alley, can open the account at attempt 15. Obliged to work hard when parked last start, he was close to the winner INDY JEWEL. Placed his previous 3, he gets the chance to capitalise.

AMELIA SPRIGFIELD (4) continues to move closer to breaking the maiden tag after finishing as the runner-up at her past 3 in succession. From the 2nd line last start, she was chasing over the closing stages behind leader and winner STUDLEIGH ROWSY and can be making a challenge again here.

MERIBEL (8) has hit the board in 5 of her 9 for the season, the latest when grabbing the silver as best of the rest behind ALTA REVELRY. Placed in 3 of 4 on this track, she will be thereabouts again.

MULLUM DOC (6) made a costly error on debut when starting fav that sees him with the ODM embargo. Back to maiden company for this contest will suit and he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: VODKA EN ICE (2), AMELIA SPRIGFIELD (4), MERIBEL (8), MULLUM DOC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: VODKA EN ICE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

MARK OF INTEGRITY (1)
has been to the track on 3 occasions since resuming from a spell and not much has really gone his way in those 3 starts. Gate 7 was his undoing last time and the start prior was carted back by a tiring leader. Despite being winless in 8 attempts here at Redcliffe, he looks to have found conditions to suit.

ARTHUR LOWE (4) was sent to the front last start over the AP mile and opened the race with a 27.1 first panel. Trying to fight them off in the closing stages, he faded as SUBTLE DELIGHT swept home to score. Close to JONAH JONES the start prior, he can throw down a challenge here.

THE DEMOCRAT (6) has been to The Triangle just four times, returning one win. Down the line last start in a stronger contest behind OHOKA CHOPPER, the tough gate is overset by this being a drop from what he has been facing.

CAPTAIN KIRK (5) resumes from a spell after his latest effort when buried in the run and fading as ROCK FISHERMAN took the prize. Despite the wide gate he can chime in for minor.

SELECTIONS: MARK OF INTEGRITY (1), ARTHUR LOWE (4), THE DEMOCRAT (6), CAPTAIN KIRK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MARK OF INTEGRITY (1) to win

RACE FIVE

REGRETABLE (1) was a winner here 6 starts back when leading all the way from gate 2 with a comfortable 4m margin to spare. Placed in 3 of her 5 starts since that win, the latest when back in the pack as GO AWAY pulled clear for a smart win. With early hustle, she can look to dictate.

JOHNROD (7) has been in consistent touch of late, hitting the board in 8 of his past 12 starts which includes 3 wins. Sitting parked last start, he was able to grind away in holding on for the silver behind KOOKABURRAPRINCESS and with the cosy trip will be searching for the gaps to challenge.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (2) opened his Albion Park account last start when taking them all the way from the ace. With the gate to settle close to the action, he is in the mix again here.

DARBY BRIGHTS (8) was sent forward from the 2nd line last start at Marburg and doing it the tough way was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze. She has podium claims once again.

SELECTIONS: REGRETABLE (1), JOHNROD (7), WILD ABOUT TOWN (2), DARBY BRIGHTS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE SIX

WEDDING NIGHT (4)
had the early hustle to find the poles before releasing last start and with the cosy trip thereafter had bullets to fire in the stretch, sprinting home to a 4m victory. Starting from inside the 2nd line at each of her previous 2 starts, in a tricky race to map early, she can arrive.

JACKEROO SHANNON (5) was having just his 2nd start in Qld last time out when grabbing 3rd behind ILLBEWATCHING. Buried away at his first attempt at The Creek, it was a sound return behind the smart 2YO AWAYWEGO. The gate stings but with even luck in transit he can make a play.

EYRE I GO (1) is a trotter taking on the pacers and his chances will be determined early. If able to burrow through to protect the pegs, he is up to the task as he can keep them rolling.

ONE HELLAVA PARTY (3) was not suited last start from inside the 2nd line as GO AWAY claimed the prize. Undone by gate 6 the start prior, he can settle close enough to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: WEDDING NIGHT (4), JACKEROO SHANNON (5), EYRE I GO (1), ONE HELLAVA PARTY (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MONTANA EXPRESS (5)
started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run and out the back. Searching for the way clear, he picked off some positions in the closing stages which followed a tidy effort at The Creek. In a race that looks to have good tempo, he can arrive.

MISTY CREEK (8) was set a mammoth task last start when tackling his own age and serving it up to the leader through the first 600m. Fading after the tough run, it followed a strong effort when pressing on to the front from gate 6 and only being collared in the closing stages. He can atone.

MISTER DECORUM (2) pressed on from gate 5 last start to work to the front and was trying to fight them off when holding 3rd. Going all the way the start prior over the AP mile, he can look to take control here.

RING THE TILL (3) loomed strongly last start at Marburg and in a blanket finish was just a head from the winner. Yet to hit the board in 6 outings here at Redcliffe, he can fill a minor in this.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA EXPRESS (5), MISTY CREEK (8), MISTER DECORUM (2), RING THE TILL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTANA EXPRESS (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

TINGE OF FEAR (1)
started from gate 3 last start over the sprint trip to settle outside the leader. Grafting it out, she was still fighting at the line to hold on for the silver. Just 4m away the start prior when sitting parked, the chance to burrow through from this alley can see her look to dictate.

PIPPA MAGUIRE (9) started from outside the front-line last start when eased out of the machine to settle at the rear of the pack. Making a closing raid wide off the track, she was hitting the line in nice order when just 3m from the winner RINGOS A STAR. Look for her making a closing challenge.
SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (5) was a winner from this gate 2 starts back when doing it the tough way when parked, fighting hard to claim a narrow victory. Runner-up at Marburg last start, he is in the fight.

ASHLEE NITRO (6) was wide off the track in the closing stages last time to be under 3m from the winner that took the shortcuts up the passing lane. Despite the tough gate, with even luck she can feature.

SELECTIONS: TINGE OF FEAR (1), PIPPA MAGUIRE (9), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (5), ASHLEE NITRO (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

LORIMER LADY (2)
made full se of her early hustle here last start when firing off the arm to take control from gate 4. Once dictating terms, she was never in danger in claiming victory by 5m. Strong to the line the start prior when wide off the track, she will have them chasing here.

BLUE IVY (4) did some early wok to secure position here 2 starts back and was best of the chasers when finishing in 2nd when 6m from the winner ROLL WITH ROCKY. Using the passing lane to grab 3rd behind FIRE AND ICE last start, she is working back into some form and can challenge here.

KATACHA MAN (6) has no favours from this alley but has been a model of consistency, hitting the board at his past 9 in succession, which includes 3 wins. Freshened since his last appearance, he can be thereabouts.

FIRE AND ICE (7) made the most of gate 1 last start over this trip when taking them all the way, highlighted by a strong last 800m in front. Likely to be buried, he will be probing for the gaps to chime in.

SELECTIONS: LORIMER LADY (2), BLUE IVY (4), KATACHA MAN (6), FIRE AND ICE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LORIMER LADY (2) to win

RACE TEN

LIFES BLACK (5)
will have to overcome the tough gate but can make the most of his chances back in this company. Just 8m away in the Members Cup after facing gate 12, he was asked to do some work early last time out in the Christmas Cup. With an even stroke of luck, he can look to close his season with a six-pack of victories.

LITTLE CHANGE (8) secured the perfect trip in behind the speed last start and when the passing lane presented had the power to charge home for the prize. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior, he can secure running line cover here before looking to make a closing challenge.

LA SAFRON (1) will appreciate a return to this grade and should secure the right run from the ace. After a tidy effort 2 starts back in the Members Cup behind CAPTAINS PICK, he can make a play here.

OHOKA JIMMY (9) has been racing well enough without securing the rewards for his efforts. Buried away last start, he grabbed the bronze behind OUR BALOU the start prior and has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: LIFES BLACK (5), LITTLE CHANGE (8), LA SAFRON (1), OHOKA JIMMY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LIFES BLACK (5) to win
