RACE TWO

HEART OF CHANGE (10) might have the back mark to overcome but she has slowly been building into her preparation and can take the next step here. Sent to the front from the 20m tape last start, she held on for the silver behind subsequent winner ALADDIN SANE. With the right cart into the contest, she is worth a ticket.

RAINBOW MAJESTIC (1) holds the keys to the race here off the front tape and if able to capitalise early on his 30m head-start, can make it mighty tough for the chasers. An easy winner here 2 starts back when stepping cleanly and holding on, he started fav last time but made an error that ended his chances.

THE REAPER (8) found the pocket trail here on Friday from the front line but could not go on with it in the closing stages when 10m in arrears of ALADDIN SANE. A tough winner here 2 back, he can chime in.

EYRE I GO (9) started from the 40m tape here on Friday and settling back in the pack was never in the mix as UNKNOWN SON scored a commanding victory. A winner here 2 starts back in a tough effort, he can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: HEART OF CHANGE (10), RAINBOW MAJESTIC (1), THE REAPER (8), EYRE I GO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HEART OF CHANGE (10) to win

RACE THREE

MCKINLEY (2)
has not been seen at a public hit out in Qld since arriving from WA and makes his 1st race starts since early December. Joining the Narissa McMullen barn, his last start was a down the line performance over the 2100m at Bunbury. If his condition holds up, he strikes the right race to capitalise.

CYCLONE KELLY (8) went to the grass at Kilcoy for his 1st outing in Qld when working home in nice order to grab the silver. 2nd up at The Triangle, he was sent forward to find the front over the 1780m and once in control had all the answers to their questions in a 5m victory. He can be probing to challenge.

CLARES FOOL (1) set the speed from this gate last start over the mile and was in for the fight when within 2m of the winner MAGGIE. The gate aids his chances and with the options can feature.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (7) has the wide gate to negotiate but with even luck in transit can be chiming into the exotic numbers. A Redcliffe winner 4 starts back, his last start was sound enough to be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MCKINLEY (2), CYCLONE KELLY (8), CLARES FOOL (1), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

TARGARYEN (7) has shown he has a few tractability issues to iron out but has also shown plenty of speed in his 5 runs since arriving from the Shaky Isles. Powering home to a huge 42m victory when running a sub-54 mile here 2 starts back, he followed that with a mistake. Earning the return at the trials, if he puts it together, this is within reach.

BONDI SHAKE (5) tackled the 2138m last start from the 2nd line and from back in the pack was wide off the track when trying to issue a challenge. Within 4m of the winner DANCINTOTHEBEAT the start prior, he can settle closer to the action from this alley to make his challenge.

DYNAMIC DAN (9) returns from a spell to kick off his 3YO season after a 2YO term that netted a pair of wins and 4 minors in 9 outings. Last seen when runner-up in the Triad Final, he has opened the pipes with 2 preparatory trials and will improve off this hit out.

HIGH ON MONTANA (3) eased from gate 5 here on Friday before making a sustained run to work home over the top of them. This is a step up, but with the right trip he can be chiming in once again.

SELECTIONS: TARGARYEN (7), BONDI SHAKE (5), DYNAMIC DAN (9), HIGH ON MONTANA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TARGARYEN (7) to win

RACE FIVE

This is a strong mid-card, mid-week contest, and there looks to be plenty of tempo on offer. SPEEDY DOMINIC (5) found the front from this gate last start before opting for the trail over the 2138m and was then making a late dive when a half-neck from LETS KATCHMEIFUCAN. Brutal in front here 3 starts back, he can capitalise.

KENSINGTON BILL (4) landed gate 7 here last week when retreating early to find position in the small field. With an even opening half over the middle distance, he was able to thread the needle to find the gaps and arrive for a smart win. Holding on to score here 3 starts back, he can tuck in here and look to finish them off once again.

KINGOFTHESTARS (7) is throwing down the challenge to SMITHSTARS LEXUS for most bad gates in recent times and has the walking stick again here- his 3rd time from the past 4 attempts. Trying to launch a closing raid on Sat night behind CLARRY, he is in the mix here despite the gate.

COLONEL JOY (1) burnt some gas in the early stages last start when trying to secure position from gate 5 before fading in the latter stages. With an improved alley he can settle handy to chime in.

SELECTIONS: SPEEDY DOMINIC (5), KENSINGTON BILL (4), KINGOFTHESTARS (7), COLONEL JOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-5-7

RACE SIX

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (10)
is only lightly raced and will be giving away plenty of experience to his rivals here but will take further fitness from his latest run where he was 2nd up from a break. Runner-up in both runs since returning, he was gunned down when leading until the shadows of the post. He might just appreciate being the hound rather than the bunny in this grade.

LANCELOT BROMAC (6) passed a big milestone here last week when clocking off for the 400th time under race conditions. Hitting the line strongly wide out to grab the silver behind SCOTCH EN ICE, he was strong to the line here 3 starts back for the bronze. Look for him chiming in late again here.

STUDLEIGH WILL (1) was a Redcliffe winner 3 starts back when finishing best to claim the prize. Runner-up at his next appearance, this is tougher but with the gate gets his chance to feature.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (4) started from inside the 2nd line last start when soon locked away and needing space. Finding room to angle wide, she was closing in nice order to and can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: AYE AYE CAPTAIN (10), LANCELOT BROMAC (6), STUDLEIGH WILL (1), DELIGHTFUL REASON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: AYE AYE CAPTAIN (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

STINGER LINDENNY (5)
was 2nd up from a break here last start when eased from gate 5 to settle near the rear of the pack. Given hie cues from the 600m, he made a wide and searching run to cruise past them in claiming an impressive win. Within 1.5m the start prior, he will strip fitter and can look to arrive once again.

SOHO TSUNAMI (6) has a great record here at headquarters, hitting the board in 14 of his 18 appearances. Sound to the line in claiming the bronze here last week behind KENSINGTON BILL, it followed a 1m 3rd to ICE PICK ANGIE. The wide gate dents his chances but with even luck he can throw down the challenge.

GOLIGHTLY (4) made the most of conditions to lead them all the way on the grass at 2 starts back and then last start made a late charge after easing from a wide gate. He can be in the mix once again.

GOTTA MOMENT (9) is harder to catch than the Kilcoy Yowie but when he puts it together, he can be a force. He had it together on Saturday night when leading all the way over the mile to a new career PB 1.53.6 rate in claiming a qualifier. 20m away here last week, can he go back-to-back.

SELECTIONS: STINGER LINDENNY (5), SOHO TSUNAMI (6), GOLIGHTLY (4), GOTTA MOMENT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: STINGER LINDENNY (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

MORESCO (11)
looked to be a handy spot last start but could not go on with it when down the line behind STINGER LINDENNY. Tough in the breeze the start prior behind A RAINBOW DELIGHT in a mares qualifier, it followed successive wins after returning from a break and despite the gate can arrive.

FLAME LADY (4) added another minor to her tally last start to make it a top-3 in 12 of her 13 outings here at The Creek. Worried out of it last start by HELLO ITS ME after setting the speed and beaten a neck, she was within 2m of the winner the start prior. Look for her poking around the action to challenge.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1) angled down to the poles from gate 11 last start and was sneaking through looking for the gaps when around the mid-field mark. With the options from the alley, he can chime in.

SUNNY RICE (3) took control over the mile here 2 starts back and from the front was able to take them all the way. Forced to grind it out over the mile last start, she can be in the firing line.

SELECTIONS: MORESCO (11), FLAME LADY (4), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1), SUNNY RICE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

SAM IS PERFECTION (10)
started from gate 11 over this trip 2 starts back when hitting the line hard to get within a half-neck of the winner INTRANSIT. The chasers did not really make an impact last start as AT WEST POINT controlled it while his win 4 back in Saturday night company was strong. He can arrive again.

CLASSIE AMERICAN (2) took the trail last time out as AT WEST POINT took control and was best of the followers to be within 2m of that winner. He folded badly the start prior over the 2138m while the start prior he was not far away over the mile. The middle-distance is the query after his last return over the trip, but he cannot be overlooked.

ELMS CREEK (5) pressed forward to find a handy spot last start at Redcliffe and then was not too far away as FEELINGFORARAINBOW controlled it in front. Working home wide out the start prior, he can chime in here.

SMITHSTARS LEXUS (7) has a mortgage on wide gates and lines up out wide as per normal. Snagged back before punching up the pegs last start, it followed a strong finish wide out and he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: SAM IS PERFECTION (10), CLASSIE AMERICAN (2), ELMS CREEK (5), SMITHSTARS LEXUS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SAM IS PERFECTION (10) to win
