RACE TWO

BLACKSADANCE (9) should appreciate getting away from the pegs where he was pinned last start. Starting from inside the 2nd line, he was locked away and never saw the space to make his offering. A smart winner from gate 10 here 2 starts back, he gets his chance to bounce back with vengeance.

MASTER CATCH (8) did not have much going his way before finding suitable conditions here 2 starts back. Easing from gate 5, he had all the power when finishing too hard in cruising home to a smart win over the mile. String to the line behind a dictating PARAVANI last start, he should get the perfect trip to make a closing challenge.

TACTICAL RESPONSE (1) has been kept fresh since his last outing when gunned down after setting the speed over this trip. Taking them all the way here 2 starts back, he has the gate to capitalise.

MONTANA CHIEF (4) is in nice touch at present and added another minor to the tally last start when 3m from the winner THATS HOW WEROLL. Charging home the start prior when only beaten a head, he can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: BLACKSADANCE (9), MASTER CATCH (8), TACTICAL RESPONSE (1), MONTANA CHIEF (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BLACKSADANCE (9) to win

RACE THREE

Showing some strong close-outs when chasing in recent starts, KENSINGTON BILL (6) should appreciate what looks a genuine tempo off the front line in this. Easing from gate 4 over the 2138m last start, he was attacking the line when only a half-neck from SPEEDY DOMINIC last start. Finishing best to score the start prior, he can be ready to charge home here.

OUR MADIBA (2) heads to Qld to join the astute barn of Stephen Cini. Making an error last start at Newcastle, he was a winner at that track the start prior when finishing best from the 2nd line to score. Having shown good speed out of the machine previously, he gets his chance to challenge 1st up.

LOMBO HEAVEN (3) took on a 2nd division qualifier here 2 starts back when sent to the front from gate 1 and putting them to the sword in scoring a 20m victory. Gunned down by MASTER CATCH last start after setting the tempo, he can feature in this.

LARRY LINCOLN (5) was caught out in no-mans-land last start when forced to retreat before hitting the line in nice order over his less-preferred 2138m. With the speed on, he can be attacking late here.

SELECTIONS: KENSINGTON BILL (6), OUR MADIBA (2), LOMBO HEAVEN (3), LARRY LINCOLN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: KENSINGTON BILL (6) to win

RACE FOUR

A strong trot field assembled here where the big players all need to overcome big imposts at the 2138m. With excellent stand manners and the benefit of the front tape, MATATOKI (2) looks to finally get his chance for a Metro breakthrough. Too strong last start despite a 30m handicap, he was beaten a half-head over the longer 2647m 3 starts back. This looks ideal.

MUSCULUS (5) tackled the mobile 2138m here last week and from gate 1 was soon shuffled back before angling off the inside to the running line. Starting fav in the event, he was trying to wind up when finishing in 4th position when 6m in arrears of the winner GARLAND GREENE. This looks well within reach.

GREG THE GREAT (9) started from this tape last start when safely away and working into the contest to grab the bronze when 3m from the winner SIR FAHRENHEIT. With even luck in transit, he can feature.

JEDDY R YA READY (1) released the speed last start over this trip after stepping cleanly and then finishing midfield to SIR FAHRENHEIT. With the chance for the easy trip again, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MATATOKI (2), MUSCULUS (5), GREG THE GREAT (9), JEDDY R YA READY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MATATOKI (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Tricky qualifier to nail down where THEARTOFINFUSION (4) might just have found his chance to open his band assessment. Snagging back from gate 5 here 2 starts back, he was settled near the rear before attacking the line in fine order behind BLACKSADANCE. Hanging tough when working from the 2nd line last start, he can take his shot.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (1) savaged his rivals on the grass at Kilcoy 3 starts back in posting a huge winning margin. Chasing from the running line at his next start when well covered, he was using the passing lane from inside the 2nd line last start to grab the silver. The gate aids his chances to challenge here.

BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (10) has put together a handy record here at The Creek with 4 wins in his 5 outings and claiming 3rd in the other. With all his victories coming when leading, this will be his test on how he can chase.

RANIERI (8) will be requiring a rub of the green from this gate as he looks set to be pinned down. Finishing best from the 2nd line to score at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he will be probing for a way clear.

SELECTIONS: THEARTOFINFUSION (4), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (1), BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (10), RANIERI (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THEARTOFINFUSION (4) to win

RACE SIX

CLINTAL DO (1)
always runs an honest race and is never far from the action. Placed in 4 of his past 5 starts, he was trying to mount a closing challenge last start when holding on for the bronze as NORTHVIEW HUSTLER took them all the way. 2m away in 2nd here 2 starts back, he will have the perfect trip to take the snipers shot.

MAJOR CAM (7) went back from the widest gate last week over this trip and was facing a mammoth task when NORTHVIEW HUSTLER turned the race into a last panel blitz. Locked away on the pegs, he held ground through the sizzling stretch drive. Too slippery here 2 starts back, he will need some tempo to make his challenge.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (2) was sent forward last start from gate 4 and rolling the sleeves was working hard when 2m from the passing lane winner CARDLESFROMHEAVEN. He took them all the way over this trip3 starts back and is right in the fight here.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6) made the most of conditions here last week when firing to the front from gate 2 and then giving nothing a look in with the race developing into a turn and burn. The gate stings but he cannot be ignored.

SELECTIONS: CLINTAL DO (1), MAJOR CAM (7), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (2), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE SEVEN

THATS HOW WEROLL (8)
lands the 2nd line options here as the only runner to score up off the back row. Finishing over the top of them here last week from gate 10, the solid opening half aided his chances in sweeping home to score. There looks some good speed again here which can see him make the closing shot a winner once again.

GOTTA MOMENT (4) backs up from Tuesday where he was sent forward from gate 7 to cut the breeze when racing first over. In for the fight over the mile, he was giving to the line when 3m from the winner CASINO TOMMY. That was a turnaround from his fade out here 2 starts back and if the good version turns up, this is within reach.

ONE OFF (2) had been building towards a qualifying win after some handy performances and franked that here last week when charging out of the pack to swoop home to a smart win. He can be tucked in behind and ready to strike again here.

COURAGEOUS SAINT (6) started from gate 7 last time out and after looking to secure position eased back to slot in. Chasing gamely as PARAVANI dictated in front, it followed a tidy 3rd to MISTE DONALD. The gate stings but he can join in.

SELECTIONS: THATS HOW WEROLL (8), GOTTA MOMENT (4), ONE OFF (2), COURAGEOUS SAINT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: THATS HOW WEROLL (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

MACHS MARETA (3)
was beaten by an inside 2nd line gate last time out after being pinned down on the pegs. Finding space late, she really attacked the line strongly to grab the bronze. A winner here 3 starts back at her 1st outing in Qld when finishing over the top, she has the gate to capitalise here.

ICE PICK ANGIE (7) held the pocket trail last start from inside the 2nd line and was making the closing play to get within a half-neck of the leader and winner POWER SURGE over the 2138m. Easing from gate 6 the start prior in an open qualifier, the return to mares only company is a big plus to her chances.

LOOKING FABULOUS (4) has been sent to the trials on 3 occasions from her past 3 starts as her manners are proving costly. Earning the return after 2 clear trials, if she can put it together, a podium position is within reach here.

CHIASSO (2) was making her 1st outing in Qld when finishing best to claim a 3m victory. A Tamworth winner 2 starts back at the mile, she can settle close to the action to be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MACHS MARETA (3), ICE PICK ANGIE (7), LOOKING FABULOUS (4), CHIASSO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MACHS MARETA (3) to win

RACE NINE

FRANCO LANDRY (4)
faced gate 6 last start when retreating early as those drawn in close set the tempo. Making an error the start prior that ended his chances as ONE CHANGE arrived, he has faced a string of wide gates that have hampered his chances in recent outings. He can press forward here to take his chance.

CLARRY (5) lines up for the hat-trick after victories at the mile and the middle-distance. Settling off the speed from gate 10 last start, the tempo was strong before he arrived with a swooping finish to claim a smart victory. Finishing hard to score 2 starts back, early position will be key to his challenging chances.

SPEEDY DOMINIC (7) capitalised on his chances in a mid-week contest last start when sent to the front from the five-hole and proving too strong after being beaten a half-neck behind LETS KATCHMEIFUCAN the start prior. The gate dents his chances.

OUR MAJOR DAY (2) settled in the running line last start with the closing quarter making it tough for those chasing from the outside. With the chance to dart in behind the speed, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO LANDRY (4), CLARRY (5), SPEEDY DOMINIC (7), OUR MAJOR DAY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO LANDRY (4) to win

RACE TEN

MISS RUBY SUNSHINE (5)
returns from a hit and run mission to Menangle where she pounced on the lead and held on for the prize in a new career PB of 1.52.1. That followed victory here 2 weeks back when breaking the 4YO mares track record from gate 6. Despite another tough gate, the threepeat looks on.

ETERNAL PROMISE (4) held the 1x1 trail from gate 2 over the 2138m last time out when finding SPEEDY DOMINIC to classy. Closing strongly here 2 starts back from the 2nd line behind subsequent winner PARAVANI, she will be further tightened following 3 runs back from a break with the small field suiting here.

NIMAH FRANCO (3) stayed out of the early pace last start when starting fav before pressing forward and obliged to work hard in the run. 3rd to MISS RUBY SUNSHINE 2 runs back, she can be in the mix again here.

SELECTIONS: MISS RUBY SUNSHINE (5), ETERNAL PROMISE (4), NIMAH FRANCO (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS RUBY SUNSHINE (5) to win
