RACE TWO

STUDLEIGH WILL (5) broke a drought here 2 starts back when finishing over the top of them in the closing stages to claim a 4m victory. Taking good confidence from the win, he set the tempo last start from gate 1 when grabbed in the closing strides. The gate is a stinger but is worth a chance in a tricky contest.

MELTON LUCKY (3) has faced the starter 4 times since returning from a spell, the latest when down the line but perhaps there could be some minor excuses. Only 2m away after a tough run here 2 starts back, he can settle close to the action and if limiting the early burn can make a play for the prize.

SHEZ GOT BLING (8) has placed in 3 of her past 4 starts here at the track, the past 2 in succession. Buried away from inside the 2nd line last time out, she was closing soundly for the bronze and will be doing her best work late again here.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (6) retreated from gate 4 last start to settle near the rear before making a strong play in the closing stages. Only 5m away, she would have been closer with a cleaner passage and can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH WILL (5), MELTON LUCKY (3), SHEZ GOT BLING (8), TORQUE TO THE MAX (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

REGALIA (5)
was a winner from this gate 4 starts back when finishing over the top of them to take a 4m winning margin. Following that with a silver from the 2nd line when chasing home behind AROONA. Luckless last start when searching for space to offer, he finds the right conditions to add another victory to the tally.

GUTS (9) was sent forward from gate 4 last start to position outside the leader over the 1780m trip and rolling the sleeves was in for the fight when 6m in arrears of the winner ROCK THE HOUSE. Forced to race in a similar manner the start prior, the gate is again a stinger but in this line-up he can challenge.

KAY NORA SHANNON (8) was sound last start when finishing midfield behind BETTERTHANDIAMONDS in a strong Saturday night event. With the right trail she can chime in here.

FORBIDDEN FEELINGS (1) has been to the track twice this campaign when easing to find position in the run at each. Back to Redcliffe from the good alley gives him the chance to return a sharper effort.

SELECTIONS: REGALIA (5), GUTS (9), KAY NORA SHANNON (8), FORBIDDEN FEELINGS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: REGALIA (5) to win

RACE FOUR

SWEET LOMBO (6) returns from a spell to kick off his 3YO term but has been dealt a blow with the tough alley. His 2YO season was shut down following a down the line effort behind BIG WHEELS in the G1 Triad Final. A winner of 2 races from just 6 outings, he prepared with a nice pipe-opener at the trials and can cash-in fresh.

TIMENPATIENCE (2) retreated from gate 4 last start to settle back against the poles and caught the eye in how she found the line in the closing stages. Only 7m from the winner KOTARE ELITE from a 2nd line gate 3 starts back, she is still learning her craft and from this alley can look to make a challenge.

GRETELS GIRL (3) was beaten by a tough gate in a stronger race last start over the AP 2138m trip. Only beaten a head 3 starts back behind MONTEREY JACK, this grade looks more suitable.

SHERBETS CHOICE (9) started from inside the 2nd line last time out over the AP mile when angled away from the pegs early, finishing 5m in arrears of the winner. Hitting the board in all 5 starts here at The Triangle, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SWEET LOMBO (6), TIMENPATIENCE (2), GRETELS GIRL (3), SHERBETS CHOICE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET LOMBO (6) to win

RACE FIVE

In a race where many do not find their best over the 2040m trip, DOCTA FEELGOOD (6) will be having his first run over the longer trip but looks worth the risk. Returning from a spell last start, he landed gate 5 when retreating early and then just had his momentum halted when making his move wide off the track. Fitter for the run, he can power home to the prize.

COUNTRY RUN (2) eased from gate 6 over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and made a sustained run around them to claim a smart win. Away from the inside after landing inside the 2nd line last start, he was working home soundly when 3m from ONYAJANS. With the improved gate, he will be in the firing line.

ONYAJANS (9) worked home in good order here 2 starts back to grab the silver behind GOALKICKER and franked that with a swooping win here last time out. Settling off the speed, she will be working home late.

DUKE (1) looks set to get the easy trip in behind the speed. Too far back after retreating from gate 5 last start, he was only 2m in arrears from the trail 2 runs back. He will be probing to chime in.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (6), COUNTRY RUN (2), ONYAJANS (9), DUKE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DOCTA FEELGOOD (6) to win

RACE SIX

ALL GOOD WALLY (3)
put up the white flag last start after working first over when sent around them early from the 2nd line, sub 30 panels for the first 3 splits proving his undoing. In for the fight the start prior when 3rd from gate 6, he can look to put the pressure on here and if taking control can take an open contest.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (4) will strip fitter again from his latest outing when 3rd up from a break. Asked to roll the sleeves, he was doing it the tough way and was game behind COOL AND CALCULATING. Striking subsequent winner BETTERTHANDIAMONDS the start prior, he can throw down a big challenge.

ROCKNROLL PROMISE (9) has placed in 3 of his past 5 starts with his past 2 outings well-spaced. 3rd here last start back on Jan 7 when working home soundly for the bronze, it followed a 2nd back in November. He can chime in.

TAKE IN THE GOLD (5) was locked down on the pegs last start over the AP mile and chased gamely to be 7m from the smart winner COOL AND CALCULATING. He has place hopes from the tough gate.

SELECTIONS: ALL GOOD WALLY (3), THE CASUAL GOOSE (4), ROCKNROLL PROMISE (9), TAKE IN THE GOLD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL GOOD WALLY (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

RANIERI (9)
was angled to the pegs last start from gate 12 over the 2138m at The Creek and was hitting the line strongly in the closing stages to be 8m from the winner. He has been meeting slightly stronger opponents in recent outings and despite the gate gets his chance for his 1st Sunshine State victory.

VOODOO FELLA (7) was obliged to hang tough last start when racing first over but was unable to cope with the tough trip when fading over the 2040m trip. Not far away via the passing lane here 3 starts back, he can secure an economical trip here and if sighting the lane with momentum can challenge.

MISS KEESHA (1) did it too tough last start and the run took its toll as she wilted over the AP mile. It has been a while between drinks but with the good alley can look to make full advantage to feature.

PACIFIC COIN (5) took them all the way to claim a Final here 5 runs back when making the most of gate 2. In 4 runs since that win, he has faced wide gates and although slammed again by a tough alley, is a place hope in an open contest.

SELECTIONS: RANIERI (9), VOODOO FELLA (7), MISS KEESHA (1), PACIFIC COIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: RANIERI (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (1)
might have some ordinary numbers next to his name but that does not tell the real story of his efforts. Settling in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start, he was strong to the line when 5m from the winner KEY LARGO. He will need to hustle hard off the arm, but he gets his chance to cash-in.

ELMS CREEK (3) eased from gate 5 here last week and was then wide for a long way when making a run. Chasing gamely wide off the track he was able to hold on for the bronze behind LUCKY UNLUCKY. His run 2 starts back was full of merit when eased before charging home and he can challenge in this.

KETUT (7) is back for another campaign and lines up here 1st up since September when 6m from the winner over the AP mile. At his best when saved for a closing shot, conditions look prime for him to feature.

MACH LE MORE (5) worked across from a wide gate to take control at Kilcoy last start. Looking to kick clear in the closing stages, COURAGEOUS SAINT was able to grab the prize on the wire with a head margin. He can chime in.

SELECTIONS: FEELINGFORARAINBOW (1), ELMS CREEK (3), KETUT (7), MACH LE MORE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

SONNY SAVEAO (1)
lands his best gate since returning from a break after copping gate 5 or wider in all 5 runs back this campaign. Midfield here 2 starts back when hitting the line in nice order behind ALE ALE KAI, the speed was then too strong late from the front last time. He gets every chance here.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (6) has no favours from the tough gate for this assignment but he has been facing tough gates in recent outings. Snagged back from this gate last start, he was sound to the line behind VENUS JUJON. Not far from BEE GEES BANDIT 3 runs back with not much luck, he can challenge.

ARTFUL MAID (9) settled in the running line last start and did not have the clearest passage when back in the pack behind LUCKY UNLUCKY. With a slice of luck this time, she can feature.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (3) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Forced to retreat to find position from a wide gate over the AP mile, back to The Triangle suits.

SELECTIONS: SONNY SAVEAO (1), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (6), ARTFUL MAID (9), CHANCELESS CENTURY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SONNY SAVEAO (1) to win
