RACE TWO

JOHNROD (6)
has been chipping away in consistent fashion of late, placing in his past three in succession. Rolling forward form gate 4 last time to get outside the leader, he kept whacking away to get within a head of the prize. Despite the wide gate he might just be able to graft out the win.

LORD DENZEL (2) started from the pole last start over the AP mile and in the washup was soon buried in the run. Sent forward to sit parked here two starts back after beginning from the second line, he was unable to see it out. From this gate he be close enough to challenge.

JACKEROO SHANNON (3) was obliged to sit parked last start after having a look for the front but repelled for that position. Grinding it out, he fought hard to hold 2nd and can feature again.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (5) pressed ahead from gate 4 last time and doing it the tough way faded over the latter stages. Likely to get handy again here, place claims appear his play.

SELECTIONS: JOHNROD (6), LORD DENZEL (2), JACKEROO SHANNON (3), WILD ABOUT TOWN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JOHNROD (6) to win

RACE THREE

EAGLES RESPONSE (4)
is still to touch down with a victory since arriving in Qld but might just have found her opportunity here. Not too far from THE HARRS HAWK last start in a smart last 800m, she is the only runner in the field to have a win beyond 2000m and looks to get every chance here.

LEANDER (5) returns from a freshen after a last start 2nd behind REBLINE over the AP mile. Taking the trail from gate 1 on that occasion back on January 4, it followed a maiden breaking win at just her second career start. The wide gate at her first look at the trip and The Triangle present a query.

AUNTY FRANCES (9) has a lone placing in five attempts over the middle trip and lines up here after placing in five of her past seven starts. Grabbing 3rd to THE HARRIS HAWK last start, she has claims.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (6) made an error last start that ended her chances as she trailed the field home. The same issue cost her the start prior, but if she can start safely, she has podium claims in this.

SELECTIONS: EAGLES RESPONSE (4), LEANDER (5), AUNTY FRANCES (9), IM A CLASSY GIRL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: EAGLES RESPONSE (4) to win

RACE FOUR

STUDLEIGH WILL (8)
will be pushing in off the boundary searching for his first ever hat-trick of victories after three previous occasions where he has gone back-to-back but been unable to deliver the threepeat. Powering home over the top from the second line last start, he has found the right conditions to chalk up the triple here.

GRETELS GIRL (1) did her share of work to find position from gate 5 here two starts back before finishing best of the chasers behind the in-form KOOKABURRAPRINCESS. Fading after doing all the heavy lifting last start over the AP mile, she can look to make full use of the inside alley.

FEEL THE THRILL (2) sat back in the pack from the second line here two starts back before making some strong metre in the closing stages to grab the silver. From the handy gate he can feature.

NON PASSARE (7) is high on the list of the hardest horse to catch in Qld as he searches for his first win of the season. In front from gate 8 last start before releasing, he will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH WILL (8), GRETELS GIRL (1), FEEL THE THRILL (2), NON PASSARE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH WILL (8) to win

RACE FIVE

FREMARKSINDI (8) knows how to start from the second line after her past five have all been from out the back. Trying to make a wide run last start behind TURN TURN FLYER but unable to work into it, she was a tidy 2nd here two back when closing out nicely. Pressing through, this is within reach.

VERMONT (2) found the 1x1 trail last time out from this same gate but could not get warm over the closing stages as ITSMEGS landed the prize. Making some nice metres over the closing stages here two starts back, she strikes the right opponents to make a challenge from this alley.

MOLLIDOR (5) was a winner here two starts back when able to lead them all the way. A beaten favourite last start when looking to repeat the pattern, the wide gate is a dampener on her chances.

BEE A BLESSING (1) has struggled to fire a shot this campaign and takes her spot here after being a beaten favourite from this same alley last start. The gate keeps her in contention in this line up.

SELECTIONS: FREMARKSINDI (8), VERMONT (2), MOLLIDOR (5), BEE A BLESSING (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FREMARKSINDI (8) to win

RACE SIX

TURN TURN FLYER (2)
is hitting some nice areas in recent times and lines up here searching for the hat-trick after successive wins over the sprint trip. Overcoming gate 6 here last start when owning the best closing speed, he can be closed enough to the action to land the triple play.

TIMENPATIENCE (3) has been kept fresh since her last appearance over the AP mile back in early January. Finishing midfield on that occasion, it followed a 2nd placing when only a head in arrears of the winner. From the tidy alley she can throw down the challenge.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (8) is an eight-time winner here at Redcliffe, but that last win is fast approaching twelve-months ago. Runner-up to MI FURIOSO TORO two starts back, she has claims.

AFTER DARN (1) has had to deal with wide gates in recent starts owing to her manners and the ODM embargo. Back into the draw from this alley, she can show some improvement.

SELECTIONS: TURN TURN FLYER (2), TIMENPATIENCE (3), GETALOADATHISGIRL (8), AFTER DARN (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MISTY CREEK (6)
bounced back to winning form here last week when proving too classy from gate 4 after rolling forward to sit parked. Putting them away at the top of the stretch, he pulled clear to claim a comfortable 10m margin untouched. The gate stings but his class can shine again.

SNUGGLES BANYULA (7) settled in the 1x1 trail from gate 2 last time out when trying to make closing ground but finishing 8m in arrears of the winner KEAYANG TARA. Working hard in the early stages the start prior, she can get the cosy trip here and be searching for the gaps to challenge.

MISSTREPO (8) was sent out as the favourite here last week from gate 9. Settling rearward, she was attacking the line strongly when only beaten a half-head. With some up-front tempo, she can swoop.

LARA BAY (1) lands the ace for the fourth successive start, having been run down at each of the past three. With some pressure to repel again, the options are available.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (6), SNUGGLES BANYULA (7), MISSTREPO (8), LARA BAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTY CREEK (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7)
has a pair of wins at his past four outings with both wins coming after being hemmed away three back on the poles in transit. Charging home last start to claim a half-neck margin, he maps for a similar trip here and can be ready to take the closing shot.

SPEED OF SOUND (9) has been able to put together a smart record here at Redcliffe wit four wins in seven appearances. Staying out of the early pace last start to settle in the 1x1 trail, she owned superior closing speed to land the prize. Despite the gate she can throw it down to them here.

SIR MACADOR (1) was beaten by a wide gate here last start when easing to the rear. Still picking off some late metres to finish midfield, the improved gate is a big advantage.

MONTEREY JACK (6) has been in consistent touch of late and after four successive minor placings cashed in here two tarts back with a gritty victory. The gate stings but he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7), SPEED OF SOUND (9), SIR MACADOR (1), MONTEREY JACK (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-7-9

RACE NINE

SMOOTH CASH (8)
made the most of the front line here two starts back when sent straight to the front and once in control held on for a 2m margin with a further 19m back to 3rd. Sent forward from gate 5 last start over the 2040m, he was collared in the closing strides and can look for redemption.

LIFEOFBRIAN (2) has only traversed the Triangle on one previous occasion but should find this a shade or two easier than his recent assignments. Doing early work last start behind the in-form STRONG RESPONSE, a wide gate was his undoing the start prior. From the alley he can challenge.

WHATTA GOOD REASON (5) resumes from a spell off the back of a tidy pipe opener in readiness for the return. A winner here two starts back over the 2040m, he has podium claims fresh.

ALLSTAR SEA (3) retreated from gate 6 over the AP mile last start to sit at the back of the pack and was always facing a task against the tempo thereafter. The improved gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: SMOOTH CASH (8), LIFEOFBRIAN (2), WHATTA GOOD REASON (5), ALLSTAR SEA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH CASH (8) to win

RACE TEN

BLAZE COOPS (9)
opened her Qld account here last week from the second line when powering home over the top of them to pull clear and claim an 8m margin. Strong to the line the start prior behind SMOOTH CASH, she again must negotiate the back line, but looks to have the class to arrive.

BONZA GUY (4) was a winner over the AP mile five runs back and since that victory has faced some tough gates at headquarters. Midfield last start when chasing from back in the running line, he grabbed 3rd two back when hemmed away on the poles. He can fire some early bullets to challenge.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (1) was sent forward to sit parked last start and after the tough trip was unable to cope before fading out. With the improved alley a sharper effort can be returned.

BONNIES CAM (7) will be pinning his chances on hitting the passing lane with momentum as he returns from a freshen. With the economical trip he will be probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: BLAZE COOPS (9), BONZA GUY (4), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (1), BONNIES CAM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BLAZE COOPS (9) to win
