RACE TWO

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (4)
was a winner from the second line here three starts back when owning the best closing speed to arrive for a smart win over the 2040m. Runner-up in both starts since that win, the latest was a neck margin to AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY. She can turn the tables this time.

AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (1) took the trail from this gate two starts back when grabbing 3rd and finishing within 2m of the winner. Diving through to protect the pole from last start, she took them all the way in holding on for a neck margin. The gate gives her the chance to look for the repeat.

DOLLARBILL (7) was wide off the track last start when making a closing play to grab the silver. With the economical trip on offer, he will be trying to launch a closing raid.

TRUE STEPPER (2) was the beneficiary of a crazy tempo set from the front last start and finding open road at the right time cruised home to claim victory. Settling handy can see her feature once again.

SELECTIONS: SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (4), AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (1), DOLLARBILL (7), TRUE STEPPER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (4) to win

RACE THREE

LA SAFRON (7)
will take benefit from his last start where he was resuming from a break and not aided by the outside front line gate. Hitting the line in nice order, he should secure the ideal trip  in behind the action here and be ready to take the snipers shot in the stretch.

OYSTER STRIDE (1) ended a win drought here two starts back when taking them all the way from gate 2 over the 2040m trip. Beaten by gate 5 last start when sent forward to work as the in-form SMOOTH CASH took the win, a return to the tight gate can see him throw down the challenge.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (8) has not been too far away in recent starts, the latest when chiming in late wide off the track behind BEAST MODE. Trailing through early can see him feature.

JUST JOSHIN (5) has been campaigning at headquarters in recent starts, the latest when gate 7 made it tough behind COURAGEOUS SAINT. Back to his home deck can see a sharper return.

SELECTIONS: LA SAFRON (7), OYSTER STRIDE (1), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (8), JUST JOSHIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE FOUR

ROCKNHOLME (6)
tackled a strong race at headquarters last start when firing out of the machine from gate 6 to take control. Fading in the latter stages as LEAP TO FAME and CLASS TO THE MAX pulled clear, re returns to The Triangle and can capitalise despite the tough gate.

ALTANA BLUE (5) has three wins from his last four outings and will shoot for the hat-trick here after successive wins at the 1780m. Buried on the pegs last start and relying on some luck, the gaps opened, and he charged home to claim victory. The gate stings but he is up to the task.

HIGH ON MONTANA (8) was a winner from gate 6 here two starts back when swooping in the closing stages to arrive. 4m from ALTANA BLUE last start, he can be making a late play.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (1) comes up with the options from this alley for a sharper return. Snagging back from gate 4 last start, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (6), ALTANA BLUE (5), HIGH ON MONTANA (8), BONNIES A ROCKIN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNHOLME (6) to win

RACE FIVE

THE RAGNBONE MAN (5) pressed ahead to look for a forward position here last start but was repelled and forced to retreat to the rear. 8m from the winner in a tidy effort considering the circumstances, he should have the hustle to get across this line up and make a play for the prize.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2) ha been a model of consistency in recent weeks with placings at her past five outings. Darting through along the passing lane last start to grab the silver behind MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO when beaten a blister, she can be close enough to again throw in a challenge.

HANDSOME HARRY (9) did not have much go his way last start when midfield in a pack that was broken open. With the right trail he has podium claims here.

GABBYS IDEAL (7) was runner-up here two starts back when closing out in nice order behind ITSMEGS. Back in the pack last time, she can be probing for the openings from this alley.

SELECTIONS: THE RAGNBONE MAN (5), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2), HANDSOME HARRY (9), GABBYS IDEAL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE RAGNBONE MAN (5) to win

RACE SIX

WEDDING NIGHT (4)
showed the early hustle to lead last start before taking cover over the 2040m trip and then finishing 5m from the winner. Closing out in nice order for 3rd here three starts back, this looks a messy set up in the early stages and she can sneak home in a tricky contest.

LITTLEDEE (7) was a winner here two starts back when finishing over the top of them in the closing stages from gate 5. Within 3m of the winner last start when doing her share of early work to press forward, she will be relying on some factor in her favour from this alley and be probing for space.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (5) found the front last start and was just asked to go a little too swiftly through the middle stage which left him vulnerable. Limiting the early burn will be key to his chances.

GRETELS GIRL (8) was runner-up here three starts back when doing some early work from gate 5 to find position. Trying to take them all the way last start before fading, she is a place chance here.

SELECTIONS: WEDDING NIGHT (4), LITTLEDEE (7), FORTYFIVE ROCK (5), GRETELS GIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MISTER DECORUM (3)
was not suited from gate 6 last start when asked to work hard in the run after pressing forward to sit parked before fading in the closing stages. Grabbing 3rd two starts back after a tough trip, he can look to take control and from the front give them something to chase.

CIRCLE LINE (2) has been facing some tough gates in recent times, the latest from gate 5 where he retreated in the early stages but was solid to the line. The second line was his nemesis the start prior and with the improved alley, he strikes the right set up to throw down a challenge.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (6) made an error from this same gate last start which keeps her drawn wide again because of the ODM embargo. Game from the breeze the start prior, she is in the mix.

PAGO PAGO (8) eased to the poles from gate 4 here two starts back and was taking inside runs to grab the bronze when 4m from ABERCROMBIE TAB. Trailing through here can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (3), CIRCLE LINE (2), TORQUE IN CONTROL (6), PAGO PAGO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DECORUM (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

FEELING THE POWER (8)
has been luckless in recent outings, looking like he has had plenty to offer but just cannot seem to get things to go his way. Stuck in gridlock last start when 5m from the winner, he was trying to make a closing raid the start prior when 3rd. He can take this.

DEVELSTIX (2) has placed in 5 of his 7 appearances here at The Triangle and last start was midfield when chasing behind JAYDES TERROR. Trying to launch a closing raid here two starts back to grab 3rd, he can be close enough to look for his first victory since relocating to the Sunshine State.

ALLY PINK (1) released from this gate two starts back when holding on for 3rd behind A GOOD IDEAL and then last week tried to take them all the way. Worried out of it, she has options again.

WHERES TASCOTT (5) eased from gate 4 to secure position last start before making a late raid to be within 3m of the winner in grabbing 3rd. With even luck in transit, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: FEELING THE POWER (8), DEVELSTIX (2), ALLY PINK (1), WHERES TASCOTT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELING THE POWER (8) to win

RACE NINE

MISTY CREEK (6)
has the wide gate to contend with but looks well placed to add another victory to the ten he already has against his name, with eight of those recorded here at the Peninsula. Game in defeat when sitting parked last start, he should be too classy for them.

AS SHE SAYS (2) started her career in perfect order here last week when overcoming gate 5 to power home in the closing stages to take the win. Taking added experience from the outing off the back of some tidy trial performances, the improved gate will help her cause.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (5) was a winner here two starts back when sent forward soon after the start from gate 3 and once in control was never headed. Runner-up to RAINBOW JET last start, she has claims.

SUNNY COVE (8) was picking off late metres from deep in the pack here last start to be 9m from the winner RAINBOW JET. The second line makes it tricky again, but he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (6), AS SHE SAYS (2), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (5), SUNNY COVE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTY CREEK (6) to win

RACE TEN

GOLDEN GRIN (2)
fired out of the machine last start when looking to take them all the way over the AP mile. Releasing for the trail three starts back as WHATA SPORT arrived for the prize, she has been building towards the maiden breaker and looks to have found the conditions to strike.

HURRIKANE KING (9) has placed in four of his past five starts, trying to take them all the way last start only to be collared on the wire. In a race where the field has had a combined 223 starts in search of a breakthrough, he can look to throw down a challenge from the tough alley.

THE CROM (5) is the most experienced in the line-up as he searches for his first win at attempt 85. Recovering from a gait break two starts back to grab 3rd, he has challenging chances here.

MYSTICAL CHARM (1) will take added benefit from her latest outing where she was second up from a spell. With the benefit of the onside alley, she is right in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN GRIN (2), HURRIKANE KING (9), THE CROM (5), MYSTICAL CHARM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN GRIN (2) to win
