RACE TWO

VENUS JUJON (8) found her race last week and had the power to overcome gate 9 when swooping over the top of them to claim a strong 4m victory over the 204m trip. Not much was in her favour the start prior when down the line behind BLUES TERROR and with the right early trail can look for a repeat.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (2) was asked to roll the sleeves for the tough stuff over the AP mile 2 starts back and was in for the fight when 5m shy of the winner LORD DIGBY. Setting the tempo here last start over the 1780m trip before being grabbed in the closing strides, she will be challenging hard here.

RUM DELIGHT (4) has been to Redcliffe on 4 occasion for a pair of wins and a game 2nd when only a head in arrears of the winner. Capitalising to lead all the way from gate 2 last start, he can feature in this.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1) eased from gate 6 to find position last start before making a closing raid to grab the bronze behind RUM DELIGHT. The cosy trip suits and he can be ready to scoot the lane.

SELECTIONS: VENUS JUJON (8), MAFFIOSO GIRL (2), RUM DELIGHT (4), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: VENUS JUJON (8) to win

RACE THREE

OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (5)
started from gate 1 over the 2040m last start when taking the trail and finishing best of the chasing pack behind the leader and winner RUM DELIGHT. Working home from a rearward position the start prior, she can secure running line cover to make the closing shot a winner.

ROUSEY (2) finished runner-up again last start to make it 4 of her past 5 that she has been the 2nd runner home. Last start it was MY ULTIMATE HESTON that had the answers to finish over the top. The improved gate will help here and with an easier time in front will take some blows to defeat.

WOODLANDS WONDER (4) is in search of a hat-trick of victories after successive wins here on The Triangle. Holding on from the front last start to defeat subsequent winner RUM DELIGHT, he can be on for the fight once again.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (7) will be requiring a slice of luck from this alley to find the space to offer. Buried away from inside the 2nd line last start, he was probing for gaps when 8m away and will have the miner’s lantern on trying to tunnel out once again.

SELECTIONS: OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (5), ROUSEY (2), WOODLANDS WONDER (4), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-4-5-7

RACE FOUR

DARBY BRIGHTS (3) made the most of conditions to lead throughout over the 2040m trip here 5 runs back and ended a two-year winless streak with the win. Since the breakthrough she has been able to hit the board in 3 of her next 4 outings, the latest a gritty 2nd. With even luck, she can take this.

DUKE (1) sat back in the pack from gate 9 here 2 starts back and saved for a closing shot was able to power over the top of them to claim the prize. Trying to launch a closing raid last start when 7m in arrears of the winner, he lands the options from the gate to challenge here.

GUY LOOKS GOOD (9) put in a questionable effort here 2 starts back when well beaten over the 2040m. Bouncing back with a sharper effort last start over the AP mile, at his best this would be within reach.

NON PASSARE (4) can be a bit tricky to follow but his past few have been much more consistent where he has a win and 2 minors from his past 5. Holding on for the bronze last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DARBY BRIGHTS (3), DUKE (1), GUY LOOKS GOOD (9), NON PASSARE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DARBY BRIGHTS (3) to win

RACE FIVE

SIGNOR JUJON (8)
was returning from a spell last start when eased from gate 4 to find position over the AP mile in a stronger contest than he will face here. He did not get the smoothest passage on the way home and was still not that far from the dictating winner KOTARE ELITE. Back to the triangle looks ideal and he can arrive.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (1) was sent to the front from gate 3 last start and once in control was able to dictate terms when holding on to score a narrow victory. Working home in nice order to grab the bronze here 3 starts back from gate 4, she has the early options to make a challenge for the prize.

ATOMIC BOMBSHELL (4) faces a big class drop to tackle this contest after going around in mares’ qualifiers at her past 2 starts. Working home strongly to be within a head of the winner 3 starts back, she can feature.

BARBOO (7) lands the 2nd line again to make it 5 on the bounce where he has horses drawn in front. Trying to join in last start as MY ULTIMATE HESTON cruised home to the prize, he will be probing for the openings here.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (8), TORQUE TO THE MAX (1), ATOMIC BOMBSHELL (4), BARBOO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (8) to win

RACE SIX

MAKINMEFEELGOOD (5)
was able to breakthrough last start following an extended winless streak. Sent forward to face the breeze from gate 3, he proved too strong in putting them away to claim a 10m victory. He may need to roll the sleeves once again but can get forward to earn this.

GIGANTIC JASPER (4) has faced 2nd line gates at his past 2 outings that do not really suit his pattern. Within 4m of the winner 2 starts back after finding the passing lane, he was able to lead all the way from gate 4 here 5 runs back. With early speed out of the machine, he can look to throw it down.

IMA REGAL JET (2) started equal fav last start when forced to do it the tough way outside the leader from gate 4. Unable to finish it off when mid-field, he can be ready to make a play in this.

MANY DELIGHTS (3) made the most of a cosy trip last start to use the passing lane and grab the bronze. With a cheap run in behind the speed he can look to chime in again here.

SELECTIONS: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (5), GIGANTIC JASPER (4), IMA REGAL JET (2), MANY DELIGHTS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

Tricky contest here where the winner looks set to come from the front line. Leaning to CLARES FOOL (2) who should be tightened from his latest offering when returning from a freshen. In behind the leader after showing early hustle, he was not that far from the winner. This is easier and he gets his chance.

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (4) will take good benefit from her last start effort when stepping out in Qld for the first time. Sent to the post as fav, she was forced to work hard in the run and folded up as MAYWYN TROUBADOR cleared out for a dominant win. This is no harder, but she can be sharper.

MANOFLISA (3) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start and was not far away when within 3m of the winner. Wide off the track here 2 starts back, he can be chiming in here.

ITMIGHTBEYOU (1) had good early speed and from the get has the options. Trying to take them all the way last start back in November; she was gunned down late and fresh here is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: CLARES FOOL (2), MIDNIGHT QUEEN (4), MANOFLISA (3), ITMIGHTBEYOU (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CLARES FOOL (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

ELLE JAY (3) was able to get forward to take control last start over the sprint trip when looking to take them all the way. Fighting hard she could not see it out when finishing 7m from the winner. From the gate she can look to fire the 1st shot and if able to pinch a panel will take some catching.

RAYONG PRINCESS (6) is in career best form and lines up here after hitting the board in 7 of her past 12 starts, with 4 victories in that number. With arrows in the quiver last start, she was able to hit the bullseye when finishing over the top of them from the 2nd line. The gates stings but she can be swooping.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (5) started from gate 9 last time out and was working home strongly when grabbing the silver behind RAYONG PRINCESS. Forced to race tough the start prior, limiting the burn can see him feature.

KID CALVERT (4) found the front last start over the sprint trip when trying to fight them off in the closing stages but had no answers to the challenge. Facing a similar line-up, he will not be far away.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (3), RAYONG PRINCESS (6), FORTYFIVE ROCK (5), KID CALVERT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ELLE JAY (3) to win

RACE NINE

AMANDER (1) had the easy trip in behind the speed here 2 starts back over the 2040m trip and was best of the chasing pack when 6m in arrears of the leader and winner GRETELS GIRL. Down the line last start over the AP mile from the 2nd line, back to Redcliffe from this gate gives her the chance to capitalise.

JOY MAKER (9) speared out to take control over the AP mile last start before releasing the speed to opt for cover. Chasing hard she could only manage the bronze when 7m in arrears of the winner MY CHINA DOLL. Forced to do some early work the start prior, back to this class of opponent looks suitable.

MYKINDOFFELING (6) has faced the starter 3 times this campaign and has had the tough gate on each occasion. Tackling a stronger event last time out when down the line behind RUM DELIGHT, she can overcome the gate to feature.

TYPHOON TORQUE (4) returns from a break without a public trial to prepare. Last seen back in September when beaten by a wide gate, she stays under notice here where her record shows a top-3 in 5 of her 8 outings.

SELECTIONS: AMANDER (1), JOY MAKER (9), MYKINDOFFELING (6), TYPHOON TORQUE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-6-9

RACE TEN

POPEYE RUSSELL (2) has placed in 4 of his 7 career starts, the latest when grabbed in the closing strides after setting the tempo last start. Only a neck from the winner CATCH PHRASE in that event, he looks to have found the right conditions to open his account with a dictating win here.

FIRE EYES (4) looks best placed to make a challenge for victory and has been in the money at 6 of his 9 career starts. Asked to grind it out last start, he was in for the fight over the AP mile when 2.5m from the winner DANCINTOTHEBEAT. Only a head away when charging home here 2 starts back, he looms large.
SHESFEELINSPECIAL (8) faces another sticky alley after facing the 2nd line at her past 3 in succession. Runner-up here 3 starts back when working home in good order, she can be thereabouts once again.

CRIME BOSS (1) eased from gate 5 to find position last start before making a strong challenge in the latter stages to get within a head of the winner. The gate is a big plus to his chances here.

SELECTIONS: POPEYE RUSSELL (2), FIRE EYES (4), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (8), CRIME BOSS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: POPEYE RUSSELL (2) to win
