RACE TWO

He has no favours from outside the front line but TURN TURN FLYER (7) might just have enough of an edge at present to overcome the impediment. Making a late play from back in the pack last start to grab the silver, it followed a 3rd behind LETS BLAZE here 2 runs back. He might just pinch his first AP victory here.

FREMARKSINDI (10) was sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked last start and asked to graft away finished midfield as REGRETABLE took the prize. Hitting the line in nice style the start prior to grab the silver, she is yet to hit the board in 5 outings here at The Creek but can look to change that.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (4) was sent to the front from gate 2 last time out at Marburg and once he was in control, took them all the way to claim an easy 10m victory. With added fitness he is in the mix.

GETALOADATHISBRO (6) was snagged back from gate 5 here last week before making some late ground as SWEET SANGRIA cleared out. Gunned down in front the start prior, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: TURN TURN FLYER (7), FREMARKSINDI (10), TICK OF THE CLOCK (4), GETALOADATHISBRO (6)

RACE THREE

VODKA EN ICE (4)
had a maiden breaking win looming after some handy efforts and franked that assessment when taking them all the way at Redcliffe 2 starts back. Backing it up with a bronze at his most recent start when asked to sit parked, he can look to claim a 3YO win in this.

AUNTY FRANCES (2) started from inside the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe and was soon buried away 3 back in the run. Carted back through the pack behind a tiring runner, she lost all chance with the leader and winner kicking clear. Snagged back from a wide gate 2 back, she gets a chance in this.

HOLY MADNESS (3) resumes to kick off his 3YO term after facing the starter just once as a 2YO. Sent out deep into the red in that event, he was never in danger scoring by 8m. Given a pair of trials to prepare, he looks primed to strike fresh.

DANCING WITH MY EX (6) was shut down after his last start when striking trouble at Redcliffe and losing his chance. Without a public trial to prepare, he has podium claims from the tough gate.

SELECTIONS: VODKA EN ICE (4), AUNTY FRANCES (2), HOLY MADNESS (3), DANCING WITH MY EX (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

Firing out from gate 2 last start BONNIES CAM (1) found the front but soon released the speed and from there was chasing in vain as GIRL FROM OZ pulled clear to a huge win. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior when retreating, he tried to take them all the way here 3 starts back and from this gate has the options to capitalise.

ROCKSLIDE (8) went around in a 2nd division qualifier last start when wide off the track for a long way and fading over the closing stages as TRACER BULLET dictated. Just 5m in arrears of BELLA BALL TERROR the start prior, he will get the soft trip from this gate to make a challenge.

BLISSFULDAY (2) will take added benefit from his latest appearance when 2nd up from a spell. Easing from outside the front line at The Triangle, he was too far out of the ground. A tidy 3rd when resuming, the gate helps in this small field.

FIRE AND ICE (6) settled in the pocket trail last start from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe when holding on to 4th behind BLUE IVY. Chasing behind that same winner the start prior, he has podium claims in this.

SELECTIONS: BONNIES CAM (1), ROCKSLIDE (8), BLISSFULDAY (2), FIRE AND ICE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (1) to win

RACE FIVE

Winless in close to two years, MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (3) was buried last start from inside the 2nd line as he was shuffled back as the lead changed. Trying to launch a closing raid, he was searching for an uninterrupted passage that did not eventuate. With an even slice of luck, he might sneak away with this wide-open contest.

MISTER DECORUM (7) has no favours from this alley but has been racing in nice touch in recent outings. From outside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start, he was wide off the track in the closing stages to get within a half-neck of the winner. A big winner in front here 4 starts back, he can challenge.

ROCCO VARIETY (6) eased into the running line last start at Marburg before making a strong challenge down the outside to arrive for the prize. Placed his previous 2 starts, he can chime in here.

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (1) set the speed from gate 2 over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back and was collared in the last stride when beaten a half-head. He gets another chance from the gate.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (3), MISTER DECORUM (7), ROCCO VARIETY (6), NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (3) each-way

RACE SIX

SWEET SANGRIA (7)
trialled smartly on Christmas Eve and then came out on New Year’s Eve when well supported to finish 10m in arrears of the winner LETS BLAZE. Sent out favourite last start, she was put into the contest from gate 10 and demolished her rivals. Anything close to that wins this.

GO JO JOLT (2) is moving closer to a breakthrough in Qld after placing in 3 of her past 4 starts. From inside the 2nd line last start, she was soon shuffled back and then chasing in vain as SWEET SANGRIA pulled clear to a massive victory. Just 3m from BETTING BARON 2 starts back, she can make a play.

HARRY CROFT (9) overcame a 2nd line gate at Redcliffe 2 starts back when powering over the top of them in the latter stages to score. Game in defeat after working hard last time, he can feature again.

JANG PEL (4) secured the perfect trip in behind the speed at Marburg 5 runs back and found the space to squeeze out and score. Placed at his past 2 starts, he can be handy enough to feature here.

SELECTIONS: SWEET SANGRIA (7), GO JO JOLT (2), HARRY CROFT (9), JANG PEL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET SANGRIA (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

having tackled races in recent starts that look a shade or two stronger than this line up, SNUGGLES BANYULA (3) can look to capitalise. Grabbed in the closing strides after setting the speed at Redcliffe 2 starts back, she was beaten by a wide gate last time in a mare’s qualifier.

GLENLEDI COMMANDER (1) will relish a chance to get away from the pole after his past 4 starts have all been from 2nd line barriers. Sent forward to get handy in the early stages last start, which was his first run back from a freshen. With the gate advantage he has the chance to challenge.

MISS MIA (8) has hit the board at her past 3 in succession, the latest when making a closing play to grab the bronze at Marburg behind a dominant winner OLIVER WINKLE. The cosy trip looks ideal.

SHADYS DELIGHT (9) eased from gate 3 to the poles last start and was strong to the line when finding space to be within 6m of the winner. The chance to drop to the poles can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: SNUGGLES BANYULA (3), GLENLEDI COMMANDER (1), MISS MIA (8), SHADYS DELIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-8-9
