RACE TWO

MAGICOL IDEAL (6)
will need a slice of luck and some factors in his favour, but if the scenarios fall in line, he can take his shot. A winner from the 2nd line here 5 starts back, he wilted last start over the AP 2138m trip. Just 5m away the start prior, he just needs the gaps in time.

IMA BEACH BABE (1) has been wiles since July but her recent outings suggest the drought is not too far off breaking. Rolling forward in the early stages before finding cover over the Redcliffe sprint trip last time, she was not too far off the winner RAANI. The gate gives her the chance to throw it down.

ROYAL PRINCESS (3) will strip fitter from her latest assignment when down the line behind subsequent winner ARTISTIC SAINT. A two-time winner on this track, she is right in the fight.

ARNOLD STREET (8) takes his first look at Marburg at his first outing as a 3YO. Luckless last start when searching for gaps that did not arrive. The gate dents his hopes, but he can feature.

SELECTIONS: MAGICOL IDEAL (6), IMA BEACH BABE (1), ROYAL PRINCESS (3), ARNOLD STREET (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-8

RACE THREE

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8)
has hit the board in 6 of 11 on this deck, including a win. Pressing on to find the front at Redcliffe 4 starts back and fight them off, he followed it up with a 3rd after doing it the tough way when parked. The 2nd line is not ideal, but he can arrive.

KID CALVERT (3) is fast approaching 2 years since his last victory but has found conditions here that look to appeal. With some early speed, he might just be able to get across. Within 1.5m of the winner when setting the speed here 4 starts back, he can look to fire the early bullets to challenge.

IMA CALVERT ROSE (1) is a trotter taking on the pacers here and may just lack the early speed to protect the poles. Runner-up last start to the pacers, she will be burrowing through.

LORD DENZEL (6) had placed in 5 successive outings heading into his outing on Thursday when finishing 6m in arrears of the winner WEDDING NIGHT. He will be searching for the openings from this alley.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8), KID CALVERT (3), IMA CALVERT ROSE (1), LORD DENZEL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8) to win

RACE FOUR

HARRY CROFT (8)
started from outside the 2nd line last time at Redcliffe when working home wide off the track to claim the victory. Strong to the line from gate 5 after doing his share of work 3 starts back, he will be tightened from the last start and can look for a repeat victory.

WHATA REACTOR (1) was asked to roll the sleeves 3 starts back from gate 6 at Redcliffe when fighting on to hold 3rd. Making a mess of the start at her next outing, she wilted from the wide alley at her next outing. Backing up from Friday, she has the gate to change her poor record here.

ROCCO VARIETY (6) had an early look last start before taking running line cover and making a closing play to be within 2m of the winner. With the easy trip he will be searching for a way clear to feature.

TEACHERS PET (4) has a smart record her at Marburg and took them all the way at her last outing on this track 5 starts back. A Redcliffe winner 3 runs back, the wide gate dents her hopes.

SELECTIONS: HARRY CROFT (8), WHATA REACTOR (1), ROCCO VARIETY (6), TEACHERS PET (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HARRY CROFT (8) to win

RACE FIVE

HIGH ON MONTANA (3) has been to the track 3 times since returning from a spell, hitting the board on 2 occasions. Returning with a 2nd on this track when chasing behind the subsequent dual winner CALVERT HOT SHOT, he pressed on to take control from gate 6 last start and finds conditions to repeat.

BATTLECRAFT (7) was sent straight to the front last start at Redcliffe when taking control and dictating with a strong closing 800m to score. Runner-up on this track 2 starts back when having his first Qld appearance, he can get forward to throw down the challenge.

PACIFIC COIN (8) is still a maiden here at Marburg but has placed in 5 of his 11 appearances. Only 4m from the winner last start, he can be sliding through to join in here.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (6) will be requiring a slice of luck from this alley to find the gaps to chime in. Beaten by wide gates in recent outings, he will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (3), BATTLECRAFT (7), PACIFIC COIN (8), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH ON MONTANA (3) to win

RACE SIX

IM LOKI (6)
has won 3 of his 5 starts since joining the Narissa McMullen stable, the latest at Redcliffe when pressing forward from outside the front line to take control. Putting them to the sword here 3 starts back with a huge victory, he looks set to snag back to avoid a peg line pocket, but this looks within reach.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (9) backs up from Wednesday night where he settled in the trail before launching the closing raid and sharing the prize with ABERCROMBIE TAB in a dead heat finish. Releasing the speed 2 starts back behind CALVERT HOT SHOT when finishing midfield, he can challenge.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (2) will take added benefit from his latest start where he was second up from a spell. Sent forward from inside the 2nd line last start to sit parked, he can get forward to feature.

JILLIBY GIZMO (7) eased from gate 4 to look for the pegs and an economical trip last start before hitting the line soundly behind LAZY BLAZE. With the trail, he can join in here.

SELECTIONS: IM LOKI (6), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (9), TICK OF THE CLOCK (2), JILLIBY GIZMO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: IM LOKI (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2)
was a winner on The Triangle 3 starts back when fighting hard after a tough run and claiming a narrow victory. Runner-up in both starts since the win, he was best of the chasers behind TINGE OF FEAR last start. From the gate he gets his chance to capitalise.

LORIMER LADY (4) is a three-time winner on this track and lines up here after finishing in the top-two at her past three in succession. Runner-up last start when grabbed in the closing stages, she took them all the way the start prior over the 1780m and despite the tough alley can challenge.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) took them all the way at Redcliffe 2 starts back, making the most of a steady opening half to fight them off late. Gunned down in front last start, she is in the mix here.

JEWEL OF PEAK (5) has no favours from outside the front line but has the early hustle to fire some bullets. Runner-up behind the smart HEMSWORTH 2 starts back, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2), LORIMER LADY (4), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1), JEWEL OF PEAK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (1)
is on the back-up from Thursday where he was soon buried away after starting from inside the 2nd line. Unable to go with them from the 1x1 trail over the AP mile last start, he was asked to hang tough in the breeze here 2 runs back. The improved gate is a big plus.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (9) started from outside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start and was strong in the closing stages to grab the silver when 2m from the winner BATTLECRAFT. Beaten by the tempo here 2 starts back behind CALVERT HOT SHOT, she can be looking to make a closing challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (3) was a winner here 4 starts back when sent around to sit parked in the early stages and then proving too strong. Making some nice ground in the closing stages last start, he is in the mix.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (6) will be searching for some luck from this gate as he looks set to be hemmed down on the poles. Making some good metres in the latter stages last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (1), SHEZALUCKYLADY (9), CIRCLE LINE (3), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (1) to win
