The Towers Jockey Club non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 5 has been rescheduled to be conducted by the Herbert River Jockey Club (Ingham).
The Towers JC complex has undergone a major upgrade over the past 12 months including a new Community Event Centre and an extensive track upgrade.
Delays have been encountered with the track upgrade and works will not be completed to allow the meeting to proceed at the Towers racecourse.
The race program for the Herbert River JC (Ingham) race meeting will be the same as was scheduled for the Towers JC. The race program is:
HERBERT RIVER JC (INGHAM) – SATURDAY MARCH 5
- Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1000m - $8,500
- Benchmark 55 Hcp - 1200m - $8,500
- Class B Hcp - 1400m - $8,500
- Class B Hcp - 1000m - $8,500
- Maiden Plt (2yo & up sw) (QTIS bonuses applicable) - 1000m - $8,500 + QTIS
