Racing Queensland advises that the Albion Park greyhound meetings for Sunday 1 August and Sunday 8 August will be conducted as catching pen meetings.
RQ, QRIC, and the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club determined that conducting a Finish On Lure (FOL) meeting would not be appropriate due to the requirement for essential racing personnel to wear face masks under current race meeting protocols in place until Friday 6 August 2021.
Due to heats programmed on 1 August, the race meeting on 8 August will also be conducted using the catching pen to keep the race conditions the same for the final.
