RACE TWO

TAM OSHANTER (4) is a former Victorian trotter now under the care of Jack Butler. He brings some nice form around tracks such as Warragul, Shepparton, Cranbourne etc being a four times winner from forty. He is proven at the distance with his latest win, despite being back in September last year, being in nice time. He gets in lightly with this handicap of ten metres and if gets clear running early.

ALADDIN SANE (12) can be fairly unreliable at the start with misdemeanours his most recent two including in a heat of the DJA TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIPS. When he puts his right manners on show he is a force to be reckoned with as an eight times winner from forty-two.

THE REAPER(9) has been ultra consistent in the last three starts, placing in each, all here at Albion Park from handicaps out to fifty metres.

DOWN UNDER ORS (10) has struggled to get into the race from back in the field most recent few since winning four ago here but luck in running could see him land in the top few.

SELECTIONS: TAM OSHANTER (4), ALADDIN SANE (12), THE REAPER(9), DOWN UNDER ORS (10)

SUGGESTED BET: TAM OSHANTER (4) each way

RACE THREE

FRANCO NANDOR (4) led from a wider draw at Redliffe 1780m last week and won. The stable of Alistar Barnes is going great with a number of winners in the recent meetings and this pacer looks well placed to add to that. The win had plenty of upside in nice fashion and time, defeating a few handy ones. Looks the one to beat if he can get across easy.

ALEX TEE (2) has a string of placings in the recent starts. The veteran of only nine starts appears to have a nice draw in this allowing him to find the fence behind the likely leader in FRANCO NADOUR allowing every chance to run into the money.

RAINBOW JET (6) has been in the money the most recent four at Redcliffe and despite being drawn wide should be able to get across to the speed and run and honest race once again fro Trainer/Driver Dixon.

The well bred STUDLEIGH MARK (5) should be punching forward at the start and a repeat of the last performance behind BELLA VICTREE when third after rolling forward to lead should include him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO NANDOR (4), ALEX TEE (2), RAINBOW JET (6), STUDLEIGH MARK (5)

SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO NANDOR (4) to win & ALEX TEE (2) exacta

RACE FOUR

TUAKANA (2) possesses handy early speed and has come up with a nice gate to utilise it here once again. Placed in a tougher race on Friday night and the sub 58 win here the start before suggests he should be right in this again.

CLARENDEN DAZZLER (1) has drawn to get a nice trail behind the speed here. Was sensationally backed at Kilcoy when victorious and has since won at Marburg and has placed not far away when forth here last time around. Drawn to go well.

ALBERIO (4) did some work when fifth to TUAKANA here recently is his first Queensland start for the Cernovskis stable. Has some nice Victorian form prior and will be better for the outing.

TIMENPATIENCE (7) closed late when got into the clear here last week when second in quick time. Has a trailing draw here again and will be working home late.

SELECTIONS: TUAKANA (2), CLARENDEN DAZZLER (1), ALBERIO (4), TIMENPATIENCE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: TUAKANA (2) to win

RACE FIVE

THIS ONES FOR YOU (8) has drawn behind a handy beginner in WESTERN SHOWGIRL and will get use of the sprint lane on straightening. Did some work to get outside the speed and had an unsuccessful challenge for the lead before feeling the pinch in a slick 1.54.9 mile here last week. Will get a nice run in transit and is a key player.

MY ULTIMATE LEVI (5) put a handy field to the sword at Newcastle on debut and has since produced a few handy placings for trainer Jarrod Alchin. Meets a few in-form ones here again but is among the chances.

MISSTREPO (10) has a really nice record for trainer Graham Dwyer who is having great success. She has won from a similar gate prior.

LANCELOT BROMAC (9) is a 29 times winner from 421 starts and the eleven year old is still capable of putting in a nice effort. Include.

SELECTIONS:  THIS ONES FOR YOU (8), MY ULTIMATE LEVI (5), MISSTREPO (10), LANCELOT BROMAC (9)

SUGGESTED BET: 5-8-9-10 exotics

RACE SIX

MAGICOL IDEAL (1) led them up and scored in 1.56.6 from a similar draw here three back and has since placed at Redcliffe, the win was a career best time. The American Ideal six-years-old is back to mobile conditions here in this after competing in the standing start Showcase Series over the Redcliffe Carnival, this is a major drawcard in this assignment.

MISTER DIAMOND (9) led them up from the pole position last start and was able to score, beating home KING OF TRUMPS. Will be back in the moving line here but is capable of working home late.

ITZ MAJOR RICH (5) competed in the Redcliffe Derby two starts ago. Back to NR 54 -60 grade here last time around he led and was run down late by OHOKA CHOPPER to be beaten two metres. Should be firing forward early.

BITCOIN (7) has drawn similar gates the last two starts and can normally get across into a prominent position as per the case two back when didn't appear to have a lot of luck over the final stages behind them. Got back and found the line nicely last start at Redcliffe.

SELECTIONS: MAGICOL IDEAL (1), MISTER DIAMOND (9), ITZ MAJOR RICH (5), BITCOIN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: MAGICOL IDEAL (1) each way

RACE SEVEN

FIRST STRING (10) has a fifty percent runs to wins strike rate here at “The Creek” during previous stints. He showed he will continue to enjoy the Queensland conditions this time around after he won at Redcliffe last week in 1.57. The son of Roll With Joe has a handy win record in his career and Belinda McCarthy has him firing on all cylinders ready to win again.

YOUNG CONQUEROR (9), a former New Zealand pacer now under the care of Lachie Manzlemann, has only had the three starts in Queensland and the one look at AP. The Mach Three gelding got along way back and over-raced but got going late into forth. Looks an improver.

BLUE MOON RISING (5) is dropping back from Qualifying grade here to this event which includes a similar grade to his most recent run prior when runner up to the in form THE CROUPIER.

LUVHAVINFUN (2) hasn't won in Queensland as yet for Vicki Rasmussen but when she puts her right foot forward she can run an honest race and the draw will suit.

SELECTIONS: FIRST STRING (10), YOUNG CONQUEROR (9), BLUE MOON RISING (5), LUVHAVINFUN (2)

SUGGESTED BET: FIRST STRING (10) to win & 10-9-5-2 exotics

RACE EIGHT

MONGOLIAN CAVALRY (11) is yet to appear here in Queensland prior to this and brings a stack of credentials; he can go forward mid-race from this draw and out-stay them. The Mach Three five-years-old is a nine times winner from forty-two and recorded a career best 1.53.1 at Menangle four starts ago. Expect McCarthy to be off and running early and be too good.

VINNY CHASE (10) is having his second Queensland start for the Dwyer stable. This versatile son of ART MAJOR is a twenty-three times winner and has some handy mid-week Menangle form prior to heading north. Should be pressing forward early from the second line.

RAGNARR (12) contested a Band 4 to Band 2 event last time around and is dropping back to this BAND 5. Last start's effort was fair when he led them up and was just out-gunned late.

ROYAL AURORA (5) was held up at a vital stage here last week when runner up to Soho Tsunami, a touch more luck in running will land him in the cash here.

SELECTIONS: MONGOLIAN CAVALRY (11), VINNY CHASE (10), RAGNARR (12), ROYAL AURORA (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MONGOLIAN CAVALRY to win

RACE NINE

THE ANNOUNCER (2) put a handy field to the sword when victorious here over this trip three back and has since placed fourth behind the smart TOMMY LINCOLN and runner up from the second line to FOND MEMORIES since. Better draw here and will be on the speed for a long way.

NURBURGRING (8) has won seven from eighteen here. Is likely to be three back the pegs from this draw but will make full use of the sprint lane. The son of Bettors Delight drops back from a 90 to 120 rating event, where he placed as the runner up, to this 75 to 95.

OUR MAJOR DAY (4) has been a great money spinner for connections and was the runner up in a heat and the final of the Showcase Series at Redcliffe. Can place with luck at the start gaining a position.

OUR WALL STREET WOLF (11) is the class runner of the field being a NR108 and gets in with conditions and the claim of Phoebe Betts. In his most recent attempt he galloped but was beaten only eight metres behind SAM IS PERFECTION in tougher grade the start prior.

SELECTIONS: THE ANNOUNCER (2), NURBURGRING (8), OUR MAJOR DAY (4), OUR WALL STREET WOLF (11)

SUGGESTED BET: THE ANNOUNCER (2) each way
