RACE TWO

VIENNA BOY (1) started from this same alley last week and had to work to maintain the trail and then with a middle half blitz in 57.2 just did not have quite enough to pick them up in the stretch. With the right trip in behind the action, he can make the passing lane shot a winner here.

KATAMACH (9) started from inside the 2nd line last time out when not really getting to make a decent attempt to reel them in when searching for gaps. Kept fresh since that outing, she should be able to follow through to secure a nice position here and be ready to make a closing play.

NOTORIOUS (2) was undone by gate 7 last start and retreated early to go luck hunting. Setting the speed here 2 starts back when CAPTAIN CRUSADER descended, he can look to control this.

MISTERY ROAD (5) was moved away from the pegs in the early stages last start before being sent to sit parked but then could not go on with it here on Tuesday. IN the money at his 3 previous attempts, he can bounce back.

SELECTIONS: VIENNA BOY (1), KATAMACH (9), NOTORIOUS (2), MISTERY ROAD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: VIENNA BOY (1) to win

RACE THREE

It has been one month since his last outing in Bathurst and ALWAYS BOPPING (1) will make his first Qld appearance here for the visiting Bern Hewitt barn. Beaten in red figures last start when starting from outside the front line, he should secure the ideal trip and be coiled and ready to strike.

QUICK STEP (6) is in great touch and last start was able to make it 3 on the run when charging home in the closing stages to arrive right on the wire. Sweeping home hard 2 starts back to pull away once she went past them, the gate certainly stings here, but with the right trip look for her charging.

MAJOR LESTER (3) eased from gate 5 last start and from the pegs when looking for some luck was hampered when looking for the space. Not suited at the 2138m the start prior, he can fire the early bullets here.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (2) was a long way back again last start from the 2nd line when trying to mount a late rally, grabbing 3rd behind NICKS PICK. That followed a similar run from well back and settling closer in this can feature.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS BOPPING (1), QUICK STEP (6), MAJOR LESTER (3), IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-6

RACE FOUR

THIS ONES FOR YOU (1)
started from inside the 2nd line last start and on settling was shuffled to 3 back against the poles. Waiting patiently until sighting the gaps, she held on for the bronze when 9m from the winner MY ULTIMATE LEVI. Landing all the options, she has the speed to dictate and looks hard to stop.

SKIPPYS DELIGHT (10) was soon pinned down on the poles last time from inside the 2nd line when 5m from the winner HOT N GOLD. Setting the speed in front the start prior when the smart LAMANDIER was the only one to get past, he can mount a challenge despite the tough gate.

METAKI MAJIC (4) secured the 1x1 trail last time out at the 2138m trip when trying to mount a closing rally as NICKS PICK sailed home to the prize. Forced to hang tough the start prior, she is a podium hope here.

NO DOUBT (7) started from gate 12 last week and was sent to the poles for the short-cuts and hopeful of some luck. When the gap arrived in the stretch, he was charging through and attacked the line with power to grab the silver. He can chime in late again here.

SELECTIONS: THIS ONES FOR YOU (1), SKIPPYS DELIGHT (10), METAKI MAJIC (4), NO DOUBT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THIS ONES FOR YOU (1) to win

RACE FIVE

OUR ACTION MAN (6) found a confidence builder at Redcliffe 2 starts back when sent to the front from gate 3 and once in control was never in danger. On the 2-day back-up he was making a closing play to get within a half-head of HOT N GOLD last start and in this line-up can defy the gate.

PRESS STATEMENT (1) has placed in 4 of his 8 outings here at The Creek and overall has hit the board in 6 of 10. Holding on to lead throughout at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he secured a peg run here in the race claimed by HOT N GOLD last start but never really warmed up. From this gate, he can challenge.

OCTOBER RACKETEER (4) resumed from a freshen in the same Redcliffe event as OUR ACTION MAN and closed out in nice order to grab the bronze. Fitter for that run, he can be chiming into the action again here.

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (10) was sent to the post as fav last time out from gate 2 over the 2138m and was looking to lead throughout. Fading under a strong tempo, it had followed a Redcliffe win. The gate is not ideal, but he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: OUR ACTION MAN (6), PRESS STATEMENT (1), OCTOBER RACKETEER (4), MY ULTIMATE BONDI (10)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR ACTION MAN (6) to win

RACE SIX

Making his first appearance in Qld for Craig McKinnis, LETS HUSTLE (9) finds the right type of contest to make an immediate impact. Down the line at his past 2 at Hamilton and Horsham, his effort 3 runs back at Swan Hill was enough to suggest with the right trail, he can be ready to strike here.

MAJOR GRANDEUR (8) lines up for the hat-trick after successive wins here at the mile. Winning both of those via the passing lane after settling in the pocket trail on each occasion, he looks set to receive an identical trip here. If the passing lane arrives in time, a threepeat could be within reach.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (1) has had 2 runs back from a break and should be strip fitter for this assignment. Only 2m away last start after starting from the 2nd line, he has early speed and will be gripping on.

DEVOUGED (6) has hit the board at his past 3 in succession, the latest when easing from gate 6 over the mile before making a closing rally to be 3m in arrears of the winner. A neck away 2 starts back, look for him charging home.

SELECTIONS: LETS HUSTLE (9), MAJOR GRANDEUR (8), THE RAGNBONE MAN (1), DEVOUGED (6),
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-8-9

RACE SEVEN

IMA CALVERT ROSE (7)
started on equal terms with THE NIGHT KING last time out so should relish the 20m advantage she gains here. Put into the contest in the middle stages, she charged forward to take control and then was only collared near the line. Similar tactics can see her go one better.

THE NIGHT KING (9) started from a 40m impost last start and after a safe beginning had the power in the legs to finish them off in the concluding stages. That was his first win here at The Creek in six attempts and should take good benefit from the run. With even luck he can go again here.

NORAHS FLING (3) was from the 30m tape in the same contest listed above and was required to work hard in the run when sitting parked. Limiting the work can see her feature this time.

TOUCHE DE FLING (2) is generally a safe beginner and from the front tape will land an opportunity to pounce on the poles in the early stages here. Only 2m in arrears of THE NIGHT KING last start, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: IMA CALVERT ROSE (7), THE NIGHT KING (9), NORAHS FLING (3), TOUCHE DE FLING (2)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA CALVERT ROSE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

He can be mighty hard to follow and has proven to be enigmatic in his short career to date but when VAN SANK (5) trots and puts it together, he is a smart conveyance. He loomed strongly last start before going off stride and the start prior was a beaten fav behind PUMA ROAD when resuming from a 30m tape. Manners are all important and if he has them, he has this.

PUMA ROAD (2) settled against the poles here on Tuesday over the 2138m from a front-line tape and with the cosy trip was ready to strike. Finding space with plenty of track available, he charged home down the outside to claim a smart win. With five wins under mobile conditions, he can throw it down to them here.

IL PIRATA (7) is a seven-time winner from the mobile and has been meeting the top performers through the DJA Series at his past few starts. The wide gate is a stinger here, but he is up to the task.

MATATOKI (9) should appreciate the mobile conditions here and has 6 previous wins from behind the start car. Working home in nice order from a 30m tape last time out, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: VAN SANK (5), PUMA ROAD (2), IL PIRATA (7), MATATOKI (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

KING CITY (5) was having his first start in Qld when he made a complete mess of it all and was at the tail as a short price favourite. He has been back to the trials twice to iron out the kinks, the latest here on Tuesday where he did it with ease. Just needs to trot to put them away.

FLASHY SEB (3) was slowly away from the tapes on debut in the same 2YO event that KING CITY started favourite in. Once he gathered some momentum, he was able to trot in nice style and held on for 2nd behind the big winner YOU NO ILL BE LATE. The added experience is a plus.

CONFISCATED (4) comes from the same race when making an error of his own. Putting it together after the error, he grabbed the bronze and with the experience can look for more improvement.

SELECTIONS: KING CITY (5), FLASHY SEB (3), CONFISCATED (4)
SUGGESTED BET:
