RACE TWO

When conditions suit and she can run on in the closing stages, ASHLEE NITRO (9) is never too far from the action. A winner from gate 8 over the 2040m here 2 starts back, she had the closing power to arrive. Front line tempo will help and with 7 of her 12 wins here at The Triangle recorded when she has drawn the 2nd line, this race profiles nicely.

MEGA STAR (5) was returning from a spell when settling in the running line from the second row at Marburg. Making a sweeping run he was strong to the line in a tidy closing 800m split to be 4m in arrears of the winner EL AGUILA. Fitter for the outing, he can make a play for the prize in this.

LADY SWISS (3) made an error before release point before regaining her gait and settling 3 back against the poles. Chasing to be 9m from JILLIBY JACKPOT, she can feature in this.

PEBBLE SANDS (2) will take some benefit from his last start when making his 1st Qld appearance off the back of a spell. Eased to find position from gate 4, the improved gate will aid his chances.

SELECTIONS: ASHLEE NITRO (9), MEGA STAR (5), LADY SWISS (3), PEBBLE SANDS (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

QUICK STEP (9)
has managed to claim 3 wins in 6 starts here at Redcliffe and comes into this battle off the back of a smart close out at headquarters on Tuesday when only 3m from the winner THIS ONES FOR YOU. With the right tempo, she can be powering home late.

BONNIES CAM (3) is in nice touch of late with a pair of wins in his last 3 starts. Tackling the standing start for the 1st time at Marburg last Sunday, he had the closing power to sweep home and claim an 8m margin from his 10m tape. Settling handy to the action, he can throw down a challenge here.

CALL ME TRISH (1) found the pegs from gate 3 at The Creek last start and was trying to make a closing play when midfield to ARTISTIC SAINT. With the likely economic trip, she can chime in.

MIAMI SURF (8) is a superbly breed 4YO gelding facing the starter for just the 3rd time. A late bloomer, he was a winner on debut at Newcastle back in April in slick time. Experience and The Triangle are the only concerns.

SELECTIONS: QUICK STEP (9), BONNIES CAM (3), CALL ME TRISH (1), MIAMI SURF (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-8-9

RACE FOUR

NIKALONG HENRY (3)
has hit the board just once at his past 17 starts and is yet to take look at the winner’s enclosure this season. Despite those figures not being overly enticing, he may just have found his race here. Nothing went right at Marburg last start, while 2 starts back he was only 4m away. Just needs a rub of the green to sneak home with the prize.

CIRCLE LINE (8) has worked his way back into some handy form with a pair of placings in his past 3 starts. His latest outing at Marburg was a trifle unlucky after some nifty driving saw him find the leaders back from outside the front line before the leader wilted. A little better luck and he is right in this.

ROLLONX (1) has been to the track twice since returning from a spell and been down the line on both occasions from wider gates. Sent back to the trials he has been much sharper and from this alley gets his chance.

IMA BEACH BABE (2) was trying to make a closing play at Marburg last time out when 6m from the dictating winner CLARENDEDN DAZZLER. From the gate she can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: NIKALONG HENRY (3), CIRCLE LINE (8), ROLLONX (1), IMA BEACH BABE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: NIKALONG HENRY (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Sent for a break after his last outing when factors did not fully work in his favour DEVOUGED (9) lines up here with no public preparatory trial, but he has found a winnable contest. Working home in nice order 3 starts back when 3rd to SIGNOR JUJON, with the right cart into this, he can arrive fresh.

LAZY BLAZE (1) held the trail in behind the speed last start over the AP mile but could go with them when the power went on. Unable to secure position the start prior and forced to retreat, a return to The Triangle suits and if able to sight gaps and have momentum, he can throw it down.

SWEET LOMBO (7) is in danger of being buried here and might be looking to get off the pegs in the early stages. Forced to work hard in the run here on Wed night, he held on for 3rd and can place again.

LIFEINHEAVEN (5) started from inside the 2nd line here 2 runs back and from the trail took a winning shot up the passing lane. Charging home last start, if she can settle close enough, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: DEVOUGED (9), LAZY BLAZE (1), SWEET LOMBO (7), LIFEINHEAVEN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DEVOUGED (9) to win

RACE SIX

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2)
was shuffled back from gate 1 here 2 starts back and searching for the gaps came up 8m short of the prize. From the pocket trail at Marburg last start, the leader drifted up the track to open the door and he strolled through to take the win. He can be close enough to strike.

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (6) overcame gate 5 here 3 starts back when wide off the track, looming up and cruising by to claim a 5m victory. Not too far away at her next start in a race controlled at the front by HES SWEET, she can defy the gate to throw it down to them here.

ONYAJANS (9) was 2nd up from a spell when finding the right event and claiming the victory over the 1820m on the grass. Chiming in late to grab 3rd at Marburg last start, look for her in the closing stages in this.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (8) has a tidy record here at Redcliffe and last start was put into the battle early when sent around to sit parked. Limiting the early burn will be key to his chances here.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2), OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (6), ONYAJANS (9), ABERCROMBIE TAB (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

CALCULATED RISK (8)
eased from gate 5 over the 1780m 2 starts back when working home in the closing stages to grab the bronze when 4m from the subsequent winner SHEZ GOT BLING. One of a few runners that could not go on with it last start, she finds the conditions to capitalise here.

PATCHWORK JET (9) could not go with them last time out from this same gate and faded over the latter stages. The start prior he was making a closing challenge to grab the silver when 3m from the winner. Securing a cart into the contest can see him throw down a challenge in the stretch.

MISTER DECORUM (5) was sent forward to sit outside the leader last start and after doing the heavy lifting, faded in the closing stages. Runner-up on the grass 2 runs back, he can join in here.

TRACES OF TARA (3) was sent forward from the 2nd line last time out at Marburg and required to roll the sleeves. Fading late, she gets back to the front line and with good speed can fire the early bullets.

SELECTIONS: CALCULATED RISK (8), PATCHWORK JET (9), MISTER DECORUM (5), TRACES OF TARA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CALCULATED RISK (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

WHATA CHALLENGE (3)
started from the 2nd line here 3 starts ago and made a costly error in transit. Again, off the 2nd line at his next attempt, he had the power to finish over the top of them and claim a tidy victory. Last start did not suit and settling handy in this can see him return another victory.

WAVEDANCER (1) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings that include a win here 3 starts back. Following that with a tough 3rd when asked to work hard in the run, the last time he landed the ace here at The Triangle he took them all the way. He can burrow through and try to see it out.

FORGIVE ME (2) found the pocket last start at Marburg but needed space sooner to make a play, finishing 4m in arrears. Not suited when parked the start prior, if she can find the hustle to take control, she gets a chance.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (7) was runner-up 3 starts back against stiffer opposition than he meets here when using the passing lane. Only 2m away at his next run, he will be probing for gaps to feature.

SELECTIONS: WHATA CHALLENGE (3), WAVEDANCER (1), FORGIVE ME (2), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

This race is a puzzling conundrum with the front-line speed not making it any clearer of where they might land in the run. A winner 5 runs back, ALLY PINK (5) had the pocket trail on that occasion and followed it with a gritty 3rd from the death seat. The gate may be sticky, but she can take a shot.

GUTS (9) is generally better suited when drawn off the front-line, but he can still take his opportunities here. Hitting the line in good order over the AP mile 2 runs back when buried away, his run had merit from a wide gate at Marburg last time. He can make a solid challenge here.

FREMARKSINDI (1) has been to the track on 3 occasions since resuming from a spell, the latest when beaten by the wide gate and the need to retreat early at Marburg. The improved gate will help.

ARTISTIC HUMMA (3) worked in the run when holding on for 3rd at Kilcoy 2 starts back and then last start had the easy run and wilted. Settling handy enough can see him fill a minor in this.

SELECTIONS: ALLY PINK (5), GUTS (9), FREMARKSINDI (1), ARTISTIC HUMMA (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

TANCALTRA LIS (9) returns from a break and has no favours with the outside 2nd line gate. From this same alley last start she could not get warm over the closing stages when 8m from the winner. Grabbed when in front the start prior, she meets the right field to strike fresh.

JOY TO ALL (4) settled in the running line from gate 2 last time out when finishing in the second half of the pack as JUKEBOX JET claimed the win. That followed a down the line run behind the flying filly SHES MISS DEVINE. In this line-up she looks to get a chance to capitalise.

HIGHMORALGROUND (7) found the line in nice order last start at Marburg. She will need a rub of the green to find some space at some point and if the gaps open can make a closing rally.

CRIKEY CAM (3) has been to the track twice since returning from a long spell and last start in stronger company over the 2040m was down the line. Back to this can see him chime in.

SELECTIONS: TANCALTRA LIS (9), JOY TO ALL (4), HIGHMORALGROUND (7), CRIKEY CAM (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TANCALTRA LIS (9) to win
