Racing Queensland confirms the Sunshine Coast Turf Club race meeting on Sunday, July 10, has been transferred to the Polytrack at Corbould Park.

The decision to transfer the meeting has been made following a track inspection this afternoon.

It was determined that, irrespective of the weather over the next few days, there was little likelihood the grass surface on the course proper would be suitable for racing by Sunday.

The track was also recovering after the Caloundra Cup which was conducted on a heavy track last Saturday.

The transfer of the meeting has resulted in changes to distances and starting limits for some races.

- Class 1 Handicap – was 1000m, is now 1100m and the starting limit is 14
