RACE TWO

BLUE MOON RISING (1) has won 2 of his past 4 starts, including a 2nd division qualifier here 2 starts back. Finding the pegs from gate 4 prior to releasing, he made the closing shot a winner to take a 2m victory. Chasing behind the smart winner MYMATEPOG last start, the alley is his gateway to victory.

KILLARA KAOS (3) found the front from gate 4 last start and kept the speed on throughout, only grabbed right on the wire by MONTANA CHIEF. A winner 3 starts back when leading all the way, there looks to be plenty of speed up front here and he will be in amongst it duking it out.

OYSTER STRIDE (8) was a deserved winner here 5 starts back when cruising over the top to a classy win. Placed in his past 3 in succession, he will be probing for gaps to issue a challenge from this gate.

COOL SCOOTER (9) had an early look prior to taking a trail over this trip when not too far from the winner LIVING GRAND. Pressing through early to find position, he can be in the exotic numbers.

SELECTIONS: BLUE MOON RISING (1), KILLARA KAOS (3), OYSTER STRIDE (8), COOL SCOOTER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BLUE MOON RISING (1) to win

RACE THREE

TOMEARA (2)
will take some benefit from his latest appearance when resuming from a spell. Back in the pack over the 2138m from a 2nd line gate, nothing from the back was able to work into the contest. Only 3m from BETTOR TO BE TRICKY at his last run before the break, he lands the gate to capitalise.

OUTLAW FELLA (10) started from inside the 2nd line here last start and after settling on the pegs came out into the running line, only to go back to the pegs and then hit a traffic jam when mid-field to WINKANDITSOVER. Taking them all the way in mid-week company the start prior, he is never far from the action in this grade.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (3) went to the pegs last start from gate 10, looking for some short-cuts and the easy way home over the mile. Back in the pack behind SHERIFF JUJON 2 back, he looks more suited here.

WATTLEBANK FLYER (1) started from the 2nd line last start when making his 1st appearance since returning to the Sunshine State. Hitting the line in nice style, he can secure the economical trip and be ready to offer late.

SELECTIONS: TOMEARA (2), OUTLAW FELLA (10), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (3), WATTLEBANK FLYER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TOMEARA (2) to win

RACE FOUR

KOTARE ELITE (3)
has the hoof well and truly on the till, waiting to get the chance to cash-in. Placed in 7 of her past 8 outings, she set the tempo here last week and led deep into the stretch, only to be collared near the line. With early speed she can fire out again and is the one they have to beat.

CORSINI (6) was soon locked away 3 back on the poles here last week and looked to be facing a forlorn task of finding space. Sighting a gap with 75m to run, she really exploded through to grab the silver, only a neck from the winner OUR DELIGHT. The gate stings, but she will be wining one of these qualifiers soon.

ZARAS DANCE (5) angled to the pegs last start over the 2138m and after an economical trip was finding the line in nice order behind the winner BOMBADIER JUJON. Back to mares only is a plus.

TACT BESS (7) is another that is ready to win as soon as the conditions present and despite the wide gate can certainly feature here. Attacking the line 2 starts back to be within 2m of the winner BLUE MOON RISING, she was again the same margin away last start.

SELECTIONS: KOTARE ELITE (3), CORSINI (6), ZARAS DANCE (5), TACT BESS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KOTARE ELITE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

This shapes as a tricky contest to dissect with a few of these looking to resurrect some form. Leaning to HEZA BROMAC (7) despite the wide gate, he just needs to secure cheap position off what looks a relatively speedy front-line. Too far back last start as MYMATEPOG took control, he wasn’t too far off MAJOR GENERALJUJON the start prior and is worth a play in the Quaddie opener.

JILLIBY GIZMO (5) started from gate 1 here on Tues when securing a cosy ride on the pegs as WILL THE WIZARD carved out a powerful mile in front. Looking to make a closing shot, he was only 5m in arrears and finding running line position can be looking to issue a challenge.

CROWNING GLORY (8) will be 3rd up from a break after returning in fine style at Redcliffe when finishing over the top to score. Down the line last start, he can secure the right trip to chime in.

ROCKNROLL TURBO (1) is yet to fire in 4 starts since arriving in Qld off the back of a 4-month break. He should be now approaching peak fitness and with the speed to avail himself of the early options, can look for an improved effort.

SELECTIONS: HEZA BROMAC (7), JILLIBY GIZMO (5), CROWNING GLORY (8), ROCKNROLL TURBO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HEZA BROMAC (7) to win

RACE SIX

The 9 rivals taking on SPEECH IS SILVER (1) here would have been hoping for some respite with the barrier draw, however after starting from gate 10 or 7 at his past 5 in succession, the star on the rise has landed the ace. Making his opponents look second-rate as he blasts them off the track with his trademark sizzling speed up the stretch, he can make it a neat dozen of victories here at The Creek.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (8) made the most of gate 2 in taking them all the way in a 2nd division band 5 event 3 starts back. Striking SPEECH IS SILVER at his next start he could only manage a mid-field finish and then last start was charging home, attacking the line in fine style. The gate makes him look the exacta hope.

BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (9) is in nice touch with a top-3 at her past 5 in succession, finishing as the runner-up at her past 3. Only beaten a head last start when closing strongly, the pegs look the place to be and she can take the easy ride home to find the podium.

EL GRAN SENOR (10) hit the track running at his 1st appearance here in Qld 2 starts back when swooping home to claim a smart win. Runner-up to ULTIMATE AD last start, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SPEECH IS SILVER (1), MARK OF INTEGRITY (8), BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (9), EL GRAN SENOR (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1 / 8-9 / 6-8-9-10

RACE SEVEN

ROLL WITH LACHLAN (4) makes his Qld debut for the Charlie Cini barn and arrives with the smart figures of 7 wins and 10 minors in his 28 career outings.  Claiming the Consolation of the Hunter Regional Champs last start when sent to the front and keeping the power on through a strong closing 1200m. He finds the right target 1st up here.

LIVING GRAND (1) had the hustle on out of the Hilux last start to take control over this trip. With the 1st panel put down in 27, he secured a 2nd stanza breather prior to ripping through the 3rd in sub 28. Fighting them off a narrow victory in a new career PB, he will be looking to keep them wide again.

HEART OF COOPER (2) held the pocket trail from gate 1 last start and chased hard for the silver over the 2138m behind the impressive winner MYMATEPOG. Settling handy again, he can feature.

JUST JOSHIN (9) was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages last start to get within a half-neck of the winner THE MONEY BALL. Taking them all the way at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: ROLL WITH LACHLAN (4), LIVING GRAND (1), HEART OF COOPER (2), JUST JOSHIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ROLL WITH LACHLAN (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

Obliged to roll the sleeves and dig in for the fight here last week, COLT THIRTY ONE (10) had to be content with the silver behind the passing lane winner MAJOR CAM. A steady 62 opening half followed with a 28.7 3rd panel meant it would be a sizzle up the stretch and he couldn’t match the pace of the winner. Despite gate 10, he is 3rd up and will get his chance to atone for the defeat.

MAJOR CAM (6) angled to the pegs for the cheap ride last start and given the snipers shot, delivered the loot, ripping home up the passing lane in sub 26 the closing panel to score. The wide gate is a stinger, however more suited to the 2138m, he can look to throw down the challenge once again.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (4) resumes from a spell, last seen when runner-up over this trip back in March. Opening the pipes with 3 impressive trials, the latest when breaking 27 getting home from the stand over 2138m. He looks primed for a 1st up assault.

The minors look to have a few chances with SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1) suited by this gate, with her recent numbers not a true reflection of her effort. CLINTAL DO (5) was a nice 2nd from the trail last start when only 1m away which followed a 4m margin to COLT THIRTY ONE and the grand campaigner GLENFERRIE HOOD (7) in the mix despite being slammed with gate 7. If he can limit the early burn, he will be right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: COLT THIRTY ONE (10), MAJOR CAM (6), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (4), SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

JEDDY R YA READY (2) started from a 20m tape last start over the 2138m trip and soon found himself buried in transit. With a clearer passage he would have finished closer than the 9m margin from the winner. Runner-up over this trip 2 starts back when 2.5m from NORTHERN MUSCLE, he can settle close to the action to capitalise.

SIR FAHREHEIT (1) has been freshened since his last outing when given a torrid trip wide out over the mobile mile. Closing nicely the start prior when runner-up to GARLAND GREENE, he should appreciate the front-line tape and if safely mustering the early speed, can look to dictate.

NORTHERN MUSCLE (11) has returned from a let-up in super order and lines up here searching for a hat-trick of victories. Quickly into stride last start from the 10m tape, he pressed on to take control and claim victory. He will be right in the fight again.

OUR OVERANOVA (12) was game in defeat last start over the mobile 2138m when laying it down to GARLAND GREENE in the breeze and coming up a neck short in a brave effort. He is always in the mix in these.

SELECTIONS: JEDDY R YA READY (2), SIR FAHREHEIT (1), NORTHERN MUSCLE (11), OUR OVERANOVA (12)
SUGGESTED BET: JEDDY R YA READY (2) to win

RACE TEN

WITH THE BAND (2) went to the front from gate 2 over the mile last start, with the lamp lighting duties not proving overly expensive. Dialling it up, she couldn’t repel the passing lane challenge of SAINT KILDA BEACH, finishing 2m in arrears. That followed a strong victory in a qualifier. Showing her early speed, she can get back into winning form.

HARPAGUS (4) went to the pegs from gate 9 last start looking for some short-cuts and was strong to the line when 9m from the winner SAINT KILDA BEACH. Her past 2 have been from the 2nd line and with the move to the front line here can look to settle close to the action to issue the challenge.

GODDESS JUJON (6) spoiled a run of top-3 placings last start that had stretched 9 consecutive starts when finishing 5m in arrears of the winner in holding 4th. Too strong from the front here 2 starts back over the 2138m, she will be in the mix.

CHINOOK WINDS (1) backs up from Thursday and should appreciate the good gate here. Closing nicely 2 starts back at Redcliffe, with the economical trip, she can be ready to strike in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: WITH THE BAND (2), HARPAGUS (4), GODDESS JUJON (6), CHINOOK WINDS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WITH THE BAND (2) to win

RACE ELEVEN

Following a stylish 2nd last start over this trip, HAVING THE FAITH (1) lands the gate to go one better. Eased from gate 6, he sat back in the pack prior to making a move down the back stretch when the power went on, chasing gamely and the only runner to really make ground behind GOOD AS IT GETS. Waiting until the last race for him looks well worth it.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (4) took on a qualifier last start when settling in the running line from gate 2, holding on for a mid-field finish behind THE MONEY BALL. Not too far from them in a 2nd division qualifier the start prior, he can settle handy in the small field here to challenge.

DONNY JONES (5) found conditions to suit last start at Redcliffe when sent straight to the front over the 2040m and once in control had bullets to fire in the stretch. Despite the sticky gate he can feature.

CALL ME TRISH (8) was soon buried away from gate 1 last start at Redcliffe and with all the power on up front, was always facing a huge task. 2nd in a similar race here 3 starts back, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: HAVING THE FAITH (1), THE CASUAL GOOSE (4), DONNY JONES (5), CALL ME TRISH (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HAVING THE FAITH (1) to win
