RACE TWO

ADRENALINE RUSH (3) is in nice touch with 3 wins in her past 4 starts and a top-3 at her past 6 in succession. With the perfect trail behind the speed last start, she made the closing shot a winning one up the passing lane. Luckless here 2 starts back, she can challenge.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (4) was angled to the pegs last start from gate 8 and after the easy run looked to have a bit to offer. Angled wider, he did not get the smoothest passage to the wire and was not too far from the winner. With a 66% top-3 strike-rate here at The Triangle, he gets a chance once again.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (2) is moving closer to a win after placings in his past 3 in succession. Looming up to them here last start, it was only a swooping SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE that finished better. He has the gate to feature.

SWEET AS (9) started from inside the 2nd line here last start and needed the passing lane when finishing 5m in arrears of the winner BLUE MOON RISING. Fitter from 2 runs off a let up, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ADRENALINE RUSH (3), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (4), BEEF CITY BLAZE (2), SWEET AS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

SNUGGLES BANYULA (2)
was making her first appearance in Qld last start for the visiting Scott Hewitt barn when tackling the AP mile. Starting from the 2nd line, she was making a strong move in the closing stages and only beaten 3m behind THE ROCKNROLL KING. The improved gate gives her the chance to strike.

RINGOS A STAR (8) eased from gate 6 last start and did not have the smoothest passage when settling in a rearward position. Moving up, he loomed up ominously and went within a head of the winner in grabbing 2nd. Hitting the board in all 6 starts here on The Triangle, he can go close again.

MACHIN OUT (5) was buried against the poles here 2 starts back and with the economical trip made a closing play to grab the silver. Within 5m of ADRENALINE RUSH last start, he can feature in this.

HOT EMBERS (6) does not receive any favours from this gate but with a rub of the green can be in the mix. In the money at 7 of his past 9, limiting the early burn can see him chime in.

SELECTIONS: SNUGGLES BANYULA (2), RINGOS A STAR (8), MACHIN OUT (5), HOT EMBERS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SNUGGLES BANYULA (2) to win

RACE FOUR

The first of two heats for a Final to be held on Saturday week where WHICH HUNT (1) should appreciate a return to these conditions after meeting some stronger opponents in recent outings. Starting from gate 7 last start over the AP mile, she was snagged back early before hitting the line in nice style behind CALL ME KEITH. From the gate she gets every chance.

STREET WRITER (4) was facing the starter for just the 3rd time when starting from gate 9 here last time out. Moving up over the closing stages to grab a half-neck win, he needs to step up again against experienced performers for this challenge. With the added experience he looks up to it.

HEEZ PERFECT (7) found the fence before releasing the speed last start and chased through to hold 3rd behind AMILLION PROMISES last time out. With the economical trip he is in the mix.

MOLLYS SECRET (2) will strip fitter from her latest outing when resuming from a spell. Luckless in finding clear space late, she has a nice record here at Redcliffe and can feature from this gate.

SELECTIONS: WHICH HUNT (1), STREET WRITER (4), HEEZ PERFECT (7), MOLLYS SECRET (2)
SUGGESTED BET: WHICH HUNT (1) to win

RACE FIVE

LETS BLAZE (3) was a winner over this trip 2 starts back after easing away from the markers early and then powering over the top of them in the closing stages. Tackling a much stronger event at headquarters last start, limiting the early burn should be enough to see him arrive here.

MISTER COLE (5) has the wide gate to negotiate, but he might just appreciate this level of opponent. He was sent forward to sit parked from this gate over the sprint trip last start and with a strong tempo could not see it out. Closing out in nice order the start prior, he can make a challenge.

PAGO PAGO (1) started from this gate over the sprint trip when looking to take them all the way last start when finishing a head in arrears of the winner. He has the gate but the 2040m will ask a question that he may not have an answer for.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (8) was a winner over this trip 2 starts back after securing the pocket trail and making full use of the passing lane to arrive. Runner up last start, she can feature once again in this.

SELECTIONS: LETS BLAZE (3), MISTER COLE (5), PAGO PAGO (1), GROOVY MISS ANNIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-8

RACE SIX

The second of the Knights and Dames Heats has some depth where BLACK HAWK JOE (6) will need to overcome the extreme alley. Only beaten a half-neck behind KASH US BACK at Menangle 2 starts back, he was gunned down in a 2nd division qualifier last time out. If he can handle The Triangle at his 1st look, he can arrive.

CALL ME KEITH (8) gets into this race nicely under the conditions and brings a strong last start victory over the AP mile to the form table. Content to sit parked, he was too gritty for his opponents in grinding out the victory. Taking his 1st look at Redcliffe, he will throw down a serious challenge.

JEWEL OF PEAK (1) has the gate to avail the options and with good early hustle will have the early choices. Not suited last start over the longer 220m trip at Marburg, she can be sharper here.

GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (3) was a passing lane winner over the 2040m trip here 2 starts back and followed that with a 3rd when facing a wide gate and only 4m from the winner. He is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BLACK HAWK JOE (6), CALL ME KEITH (8), JEWEL OF PEAK (1), GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

HES SWEET (2)
gets into the contest here on a class drop and comes up with the gate to capitalise. Within 3m of THE ROCKNROLL KING last start, he was only 8m from JASPER in the G2 APG race the start prior. Runner-up in both appearances on this track, he gets every chance for the breakthrough.

PARATROUPER (3) fired off the arm from gate 1 to hold them all wide last start and trying to fight them off, it was only the determined CALL ME KEITH that was able to get past. Only a half-head in from RAANI 3 starts back, he is 1 from 1 here at Redcliffe and will be ready to descend on them here.

FRANCO NATHAN (4) was a winner at his first look in Aus when arriving over the AP mile 4 starts back. Following that with a 2nd to LOVE YOUR WORK, wide gates have stung at his past 2. He can be thereabouts here.

BONDI PRINCE (8) broke the maiden tag here 3 starts back when scoring over the 2040m trip after a tough run. Working home in nice order to grab the bronze last start, he can follow through here.

SELECTIONS: HES SWEET (2), PARATROUPER (3), FRANCO NATHAN (4), BONDI PRINCE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HES SWEET (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

DEAL BREAKER (6)
pressed on from gate 6 last start and assumed control and once in front was never in danger, cruising home to claim a 7m victory. Asked for too much the start prior when fading under the pressure, he can do the work to go back-to-back.

WHATA REACTOR (3) was a winner over this trip 4 runs back when firing to the front, taking the trail, and then finishing best for the prize. Runner-up at her past 2 starts with that same pattern, she may not have the hustle to get to the front but settling handy to the action can still make a closing play.

TUAKANA (9) was asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way last start over the AP mile and faded late after the tough trip. Runner-up the previous 2 in succession, he can be chiming in here.

TEACHERS PET (2) has started from inside the 2nd line at her past 2 starts and been buried in the run on both occasions. A return to the front line can see her closer to the action in the run and at the finish.

SELECTIONS: DEAL BREAKER (6), WHATA REACTOR (3), TUAKANA (9), TEACHERS PET (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DEAL BREAKER (6) to win

RACE NINE

Showing a real affinity with Redcliffe and the Qld winter THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (1) has quickly put together a smart record with 5 wins in 6 appearances here at the Peninsula. Looking to make it a hat-trick after successive wins from the front, he is the leerie and can light every lamp on this journey.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7) was soon shuffled back from this same gate last time out and too far back to get into the battle. A winner over the 2040m 4 starts back when using the passing lane, he should be in a perfect position here and be ready to take a closing shot.

HIGH ON MONTANA (8) was sent forward last start and working to the front looked to be in a perfect position to breakthrough. Unable to see it out, he will be chasing hard to feature here.

PERFECT FEELING (9) was a winner over the AP mile 3 starts back when swooping over the top of them in the closing stages to take the prize. With the right trip he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (1), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7), HIGH ON MONTANA (8), PERFECT FEELING (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Trifecta 1 / 7-8-9

RACE TEN

KING OF COOL (1)
resumes from a long break to start his 3YO term following 2 starts as 2YO and over 12 months since the second of those. Not beaten fa in either of his 2 race starts behind some handy types, he opened the pipes with a tidy trial and finds winnable conditions fresh.

KING OF KAOS (7) is a Hurrikane Kingcole 4YO on debut for Amy Cargill. Doing everything right in a recent qualifying trial here at Redcliffe, he strikes a nice maiden contest for his first race outing and with the cosy run in behind, stays in contention.

SIR HASZEM (9) held on for the silver here 2 starts back from the pocket trail when only 1m in arrears of the winner. Chasing behind GOTTA GO MILKING last start, he can join in here.

DREAMOUTS NIECE (3) worked hard in the run last start at Armidale and faded out after the effort in strong time. Chasing home behind ESTARDAY the previous start, a return to maiden grade helps.

SELECTIONS: KING OF COOL (1), KING OF KAOS (7), SIR HASZEM (9), DREAMOUTS NIECE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: KING OF COOL (1) to win
