RACE TWO

MACHIN OUT (1) has faced some tough gates in recent outings and should relish a return to the front line in tight here. Fading last start after being asked to work hard in the run, he was not too far away at his precious 2 attempts. With early hustle he can look to capitalise on the alley.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (2) held the front from gate 1 here 2 starts back over the 2040m and was looking to take them all the way when grabbed in the last strides by ADRENALINE RUSH. Beaten by gate 6 when retreating as the race was controlled in front last time, closer to the action can see him challenge.

LADY SWISS (7) will take good benefit from her latest offering when resuming from a break. Eased from gate 4 to secure position, she was closing in nice order to finish midfield, With a cosy trip, she can be ready to strike.

ARK ME (9) has a handy record here at Redcliffe and from this gate will be relying on the right tempo to work into it late. Just losing momentum at a critical point last start, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MACHIN OUT (1), JILLIBY JACKPOT (2), LADY SWISS (7), ARK ME (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-9

RACE THREE

Runner-up at his past 2 starts when not beaten far on either occasion, this looks the chance for RINGOS A STAR (4) to go one better. Working home wide off the track last start when 1m away, the start prior he was within a head of the winner. With even luck he can beat his own drum here.

JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (1) found the right conditions here 3 runs back when sent forward to claim a gritty win from outside the leader after working forward from the 2nd line. Grabbed in the closing stride last start when looking to take them all the way, he has the gate to dictate.

GINATIANO (6) had been edging closer to a victory after finishing in 2nd in successive starts before cashing in here last time out. Wide over the latter stages, she arrived for a smart win and despite a stiff gate can feature once more.

BETTING BARON (7) was shooting for a hat-trick of wins here 3 runs back when starting from gate 9 and finishing 5m in arrears of the winner. Runner-up to FIRE AND ICE last start, he will be looking for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: RINGOS A STAR (4), JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (1), GINATIANO (6), BETTING BARON (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

THERESACHANCE (2)
started from gate 2 over the 2040m here last start and burnt some early petrol to secure position. In for the fight, he was giving at the line to be within 2m of the winner THE HERVEY BAY. Trialling since that run with a slick hit out, a return to the 1780m looks ideal here.

JOVIAL JULIE (1) started from gate 2 last start when doing some early work before taking cover and then finishing 5m in arrears of the winner HIT THE TRACK. A 3m winner here 3 starts back over this trip, she looks set to get the nice run in behind the action and can be ready to strike in the stretch.

FIRE AND ICE (4) found his race here last week from gate 1 where he took full advantage to take them all the way. Running a smart closing 800m to keep it out of reach, he might need to roll the sleeves here.

ADRENALINE RUSH (6) has no favours from the tough alley but has been in good touch in recent outings. A winner at 3 of her past 5 starts, limiting the burn in transit will be key to her chances.

SELECTIONS: THERESACHANCE (2), JOVIAL JULIE (1), FIRE AND ICE (4), ADRENALINE RUSH (6)
SUGGESTED BET: THERESACHANCE (2) to win

RACE FIVE

This race looks set to be dominated by a pair of pacers that between them are 5 from 5 in recent starts here at Redcliffe but both step up to the 2040m. DEAL BEAKER (2) lands the gate advantage and will look to make it 3 on end after working in the run from gate 6 to win his past 2 here. It could come down to the barrier.

THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (5) completed a hat-trick of victories last start to take his record to 6 wins in 7 appearances here at The Triangle. Taking control from the front, he was never in any danger which followed a strong 6m victory from the front. He might need to grind it out to challenge here.

ABBEY DIADEMA (8) was runner-up here 2 starts back when locked away from inside the 2nd line and getting out late when 6m away. Finding her race to finish over the top last time, she will be joining in.

SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-8

RACE SIX

POOR MANS DELIGHT (9)
is yet to hit the board since arriving on his Winter campaign, but his past 2 runs have had good merit for a race like this. Forced to do some early work last start from gate 6, it followed a gritty effort behind the handy filly NINA SIMONE. The gate stings but this looks within reach.

RAINBOW JET (4) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was soon angled to the running line to avoid being buried. Trying to chase over the closing stages, he was able to grab the bronze when 8m in arrears of the winner GO AWAY. From the gate he can challenge in this.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (6) has no favours from wide alley, but his recent effort shave been solid including his last run when making strong ground in the closing stages. 3rd to BONNIES CAM 2 runs back, he can chime in late.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1) should appreciate the easy trip in behind the action here and be ready to make a play when the gaps arrive. Hitting the board at her past 3, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: POOR MANS DELIGHT (9), RAINBOW JET (4), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (6), THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: POOR MANS DELIGHT (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

TEACHERS PET (3)
pressed to the front before taking cover last start and tried to launch a closing rally when 1m in arrears of the winner DEAL BREAKER. Shuffled right back from inside the 2nd line here 2 runs back, she can look to get handy to the action from release to launch her claim.

MAGHERA MAGGIE (2) was a gritty winner here 5 runs back when asked to occupy the death chair and from there held a 4m winning margin. Placed in 3 of her 4 starts since that win, the past 2 have been the same margin from 3 back the poles. From this alley she can make a challenge.

WHATA REACTOR (4) has not been too far away in recent outings since claiming the prize here 5 starts back. Runner-up to DEAL BREAKER 2 runs back, she can be close enough to feature.

MUSTANG DUDE (8) was angled to the pegs last start to look for the short-cuts when running home late to grab the bronze. With another smother run here, look for him joining in late.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (3), MAGHERA MAGGIE (2), WHATA REACTOR (4), MUSTANG DUDE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (3) to win

RACE NINE

SIR HASZEM (2) is the most experienced of this maiden line-up and can look to call on that experience here. Beaten by the 2nd line last start as KING OF COOL controlled the speed in front, he was not that far from the handy GOTTA GO MILKING 2 starts back. He can capitalise here.

KING OF KAOS (4) made his race debut from inside the 2nd line last start when settling in behind the leader. Keen in the run and still with plenty to learn, it was still a nice first trip to the races. Moving to the front line and with the benefit of added experience, can make a play here.

AMELIA SPRINGFIELD (1) faces the starter for the third time and comes up with her best gate to date. Chasing hard behind GOTTA BEUTY last time, she has the options to feature here.

ROCK SUPREME (7) was stepping out in Qld for the 1st time last week from gate 8 when angled to the pegs for the short-cuts and using the passing lane grabbed the bronze. He can feature again.

SELECTIONS: SIR HASZEM (2), KING OF KAOS (4) AMELIA SPRINGFIELD (1), ROCK SUPREME (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR HASZEM (2) to win

RACE TEN

A tricky 2YO maiden to close out the night. BETONBETTY (5) made her race debut back in March when from gate 2 she was angled to the pegs and was green when down the line behind GOLDIES A DELIGHT. With a sound trial to prepare for her return, she can arrive.

BEACH ON FIRE (4) started fav here 2 runs back from inside the 2nd line when securing the pocket trail. Looming up along the passing lane, she threw any chance of finishing in the money when trying to jump a shadow on the track. Back to her own age for this assignment is a big plus.

VODKA EN ICE (7) is a Mr Feelgood colt on debut for Vic Frost. A half-brother to some handy types in SCOTCH EN ICE and FROST EN ICE, he has trialled well enough to suggest he can feature here.

MAYWYN MACDUFF (6) is still looking to hit the board after 5 appearances have yet to net a return. Asked to do it the tough way last start outside the leader; he has no favours again from the six-hole.

SELECTIONS: BETONBETTY (5), BEACH ON FIRE (4), VODKA EN ICE (7), MAYWYN MACDUFF (6)
