RACE TWO

There are some horses with good form and strong records here at The Triangle doing battle. Charging home from back in the pack here on Saturday GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (9) was nutted right on the wire when beaten a pimple. Finishing best here the start prior in the heat of that Series, he will rely on some heat but can arrive.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (8) fired off the arm from gate 2 to take control here last start and from the front took them all the way, cruising home to an effortless 5m victory. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior when forced to retreat, he will be looking to press through early here before making a late rally.

ADRENALINE RUSH (2) has hit the board in 7 of her past 8 starts that have included 3 wins. Snagged back from gate 6 before closing out in nice order last start, she can feature with the improved gate.

ARBIT MAJOR (1) earnt a ticket back into the main draw last start but was jammed up with the outside gate again. Back to an improved gate is a big help and he can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (9), JILLIBY JACKPOT (8), ADRENALINE RUSH (2), ARBIT MAJOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (9) to win

RACE THREE

KATACHA MAN (4)
rolled forward from gate 3 last start and was content to do it the tough way and grinding it out was 6m in arrears of the winner ROYAL OBSESSION. He found SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS out of reach in a qualifier the start prior and while he may need to work again, he can cash-in here.

TORQUE IS MY GIRL (1) has 2 wins in her past 3 starts with those wins coming at the 1780m and the 2040m of this trip. Importantly both wins have been when using the passing lane and from this gate she looks to get every chance to make the closing challenge up the stretch.

MORESCO (8) has switched barns and will line up for Ryan Veivers for the 1st time here. Setting the speed over the AP mile last start, she was gunned down late. Hitting the board in all 3 starts here at Redcliffe, she can feature again.

JOVIAL JULIE (7) sat in behind the speed from gate 1 here last time out and held on for the silver as THERESACHANCE rolled home from the front. Tucked away again here, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: KATACHA MAN (4), TORQUE IS MY GIRL (1), MORESCO (8) JOVIAL JULIE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: EXOTICS 1-4-7-8

RACE FOUR

RAINBOW JET (1)
is still looking to open the account this season after placing in 3 of his 7 attempts. Not much was really going his way with some factors conspiring against him before grabbing a 3rd here 2 starts back and following that with a gritty effort when beaten a half-head. This is his chance.

PAGO PAGO (2) released the speed last start from gate 1 over the 2040m trip and was able to hold on for the silver behind GET READY TO ROCK. Grabbed in the closing strides here 3 runs back as THE CASUAL GOOSE put the beak out to claim a head margin, he can look to fire the early bullets.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (5) will take good benefit from his last start where he was 1st up in Qld off the back of a spell. Wide off the track the last lap, he can get forward to feature here.

LA PISTOLA (7) angled to the pegs from gate 8 last time out and was able to grab 3rd behind ONE LAST ROLL. With the cosy trip he can be ready to take a closing shot.

SELECTIONS: RAINBOW JET (1), PAGO PAGO (2), MAJOR MISCHIEF (5), LA PISTOLA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW JET (1) to win

RACE FIVE

With a superb record here at The Triangle since arriving with Graham Dwyer where he has shown plenty when able to roll near the speed, THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (8) will get to show it from back in the back line. Fighting hard from the breeze last start when holding 2nd, he looks to have their measure.

BARBOO (1) is yet to take a stroll down victory lane this season but is getting perilously close to breaking the drought after finishing the runner-up in 4 of his past 7. He found the smart 2YO MISTY CREEK too slick last start when best of the rest. With the options from this alley, he can challenge.

ABBEY DIADEMA (3) was a winner here 2 starts back when the tempo was right, and she descended on them from back in the pack to score. Settling handy she can be in the mix.

CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (6) as no favours from this alley but he is hitting some nice areas, finishing with the silver in 3 of his past 5. Luckless last start when searching for gaps, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (8), BARBOO (1), ABBEY DIADEMA (3), CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (8) to win

RACE SIX

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3)
made his Sunshine State debut here last week from gate 3 when sent straight to the front from this same gate over this same trip. Trying to fight them off, PARATROUPER descended late to grab the win. Fitter for the run, he can again light the lamps and be gripping on.

SWEET LOMBO (4) has been trying his luck at headquarters in recent runs where he has been unable to capitalise. Forced to hang tough in the breeze last start, he faded late as COULDNTMISAFALCON arrived. This is within reach and with even luck in transit he can make a challenge.

RINGOS A STAR (7) has no favours from this alley and will be requiring some luck at some point to find space. Working home smartly last start to be 3m from the winner, he can be thereabouts.

MULLUM BOY (9) rolled forward to find position last start before receiving cover and then finishing off in nice order for the silver behind JUKEBOX JET. He can be closing out in the latter stages.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3), SWEET LOMBO (4), RINGOS A STAR (7), MULLUM BOY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

WHATA REACTOR (2)
was a winner here 6 starts back and has placed in 3 of her 5 since that win. Runner-up to the subsequent winner DEAL BREAKER here 3 starts back, she was game here last start when working hard in the run. Back to her preferred pattern of releasing the speed, she can arrive in this.

ELLE JAY (3) eased from gate 5 to secure position last start and from well back in the pack never really warmed up. Buried in the run from inside the 2nd line the start prior, she is best near the front end, a position she was successful from 4 runs back when leading throughout. She can go close.

WEASEL (9) was not suited last start when forced to retreat and was then just too far back. If he can keep rolling here, the old boy can work his way into the placings.

AURORA ROSE (8) eased from the wider gate to look for the easier trip last start and locked away never really worked into it as the race was controlled up front. Trailing through gives her podium claims.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (2), ELLE JAY (3), WEASEL (9), AURORA ROSE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

TEACHERS PET (4)
fired off the arm to take control in the early stages last start and once dictating was able to take them all the way. With similar hustle again here, she can get to the pegs and from the front will take some catching.

ILLBEWATCHING (6) is in nice touch, finishing in the quinella at 4 of his past 5 attempts, 2 of those being victories. Pressing forward from gate 6 last start to sit parked, he was fighting hard when best of the rest behind COBBITY CASTLE. He will need to work again from this alley but is up to the task.

MAGHERA MAGGIE (3) has not been too far away in recent outings, hitting the board in 5 of her past 7 outings. With the handy gate she will not be too far away once again.

TURN TURN FLYER (5) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run searching for openings. The wide gate does him no favours, but he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (4), ILLBEWATCHING (6), MAGHERA MAGGIE (3), TURN TURN FLYER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (4) to win

RACE NINE

In a career that has spanned 6 race starts ROCK SUPREME (1) has never had any luck with landing a marble nor have his manners been one of his stronger assets. Off the back of a spell and 2 starts in Qld, he lands his best alley thus far. If the manners arrive with him, he gets his chance here.

SIR HASZEM (3) pressed on to take control last start and from the front was trying to take them all the way. Turing for home in control, he was unable to see it out when nabbed in the closing strides to be half-head in arrears. Moving ever closer to the maiden breaker, he can challenge.

QUICK CLASSIC (5) returns for his 3YO season after a two start 2YO term where he showed he still had a bit of maturing to encounter. With 2 trials in readiness for the return, he stays under notice.

ASHTON RIVER (2) found the line soundly here 2 starts back to grab the bronze when 5m in arrears of the winner. Pegged away last start, with the right trip he can podium.

SELECTIONS: ROCK SUPREME (1), SIR HASZEM (3), QUICK CLASSIC (5), ASHTON RIVER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK SUPREME (1) to win

RACE TEN

SHEZA CHANCE (4) was on debut last time out and firing off the arm was trying to take them all the way. Leading every stride bar, the one that counted, she was a head in arrears of the winner. With the added experience, she can look to go one better here.

MERIBEL (2) was last seen in the fillies Breeders Classic when eased from gate 5 to find position and then finished in the chasing pack behind the big winner CAT KING COLE. She has clashed with that same quality filly in all 3 career starts and should appreciate the drop to this standard.

ZACHAROONI (7) has had 2 starts at Albion Park since arriving in Qld. Still a little green last start, it followed a first up defeat when sent to the post as fav. With 2nd line options, he can feature.

VODKA EN ICE (5) will take benefit from the race experience of making his debut here last week when 8m from the winner. The gate hurts but he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA CHANCE (4), MERIBEL (2), ZACHAROONI (7), VODKA EN ICE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZA CHANCE (4) to win
