Brisbane Racing Club meeting amendment - July 9

Racing Queensland confirms that the Benchmark 85 Handicap over 1350 metres remains on the program the Brisbane Racing Club race meeting at Doomben on Saturday, July 9.

In addition, the following feature races have been rescheduled to the Brisbane Racing Club race meeting at Doomben on Saturday, July 9:

  • Group 3 Magic Millions Pam O’Neill Stakes - $150,000 - Fillies & Mares - 1600m;
  • Listed XXXX Chief De Beers - $130,000 Quality Handicap - 1110m, and
  • Impressu Darby McCarthy - $125,000 3YO Set Weights & Penalties - 1110m.

To accommodate these changes, it has been necessary to reschedule two of the races from the original July 9 program:

  • Benchmark 85 - 2000m - $75,000 – reprogrammed to the Brisbane Racing Club meeting at Doomben on Wednesday, July 13; and
  • Benchmark 72 - 1600m - $75,000 – reprogrammed to the Ipswich Turf Club meeting on Wednesday, July 6, and will be contested over the amended distance of 1666m.
