RACE ONE

BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) was a winner here last start from this same gate and distance after securing the pocket trail and making the closing shot a winning one. Overcoming a nine-month winless drought to score, he is at his best when saved for the closing shot and lands the alley to look for the repeat.

DOLLARBILL (2) has faced some wide gates in recent outings so should relish the opportunity of drawing tight for this assignment. Eased from outside the front-line last start before trying to make some closing metres, he can press forward from this gate to throw down the challenge.

SAILALONG SINBAD (9) sat back in the pack after easing from gate 5 last time out. With a solid tempo, he was able to power over the top to score. A strong tempo will aid his chances here.

UHURA (3) is a 3YO filly having her first appearance in Qld for Darrel Graham. Down the line last start at Ballarat behind the top filly JUST HOPE, she takes on much more experienced rivals first up.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY BLAZE (1), DOLLARBILL (2), SAILALONG SINBAD (9), UHURA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) to win

RACE TWO

CALVERT HOT SHOT (9) eased from gate 5 over the AP mile last start and in a hot tempo could not get into the contest. Midfield over the 2138m the start prior when hitting the line in nice order to b3 just 6m from the winner. This looks a shade easier than recent outings and he can cash-in.

BUKTHSYSTEM (2) was runner-up here three starts back when pressing on from the second line to sit parked and was best of the rest behind the big winner MOTU CULLEN. Not far away in both starts since, he can settle close to the speed here to issue the challenge.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) resumes from a spell after a tidy end to her last campaign where she went back-to-back, followed by a 2nd, all from the wide gates. She will take benefit from the hit out.

UNDERTHEKILT (1) started from the second line last time out and was following through to grab the bronze behind MY ULTIMATE BONDI. Too far back at Marburg the start prior, the gate helps here.

SELECTIONS: CALVERT HOT SHOT (9), BUKTHSYSTEM (2), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6), UNDERTHEKILT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CALVERT HOT SHOT (9) to win

RACE THREE

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (6)
was doing his share of work wide off the track last start over the 1780m trip and proved too strong over the closing stages in claiming a 3m margin. Game in defeat over the AP mile two starts back, he may need to roll the sleeves again here but is up to the task.

OLIVER WINKLE (4) settled in the running line last start at Marburg when down the line with the tempo on all the way as subsequent winner GOLDEN SAND poured the pressure on throughout. Pressing ahead from this gate, he looms as a challenger.

SWEET JASMINE (7) was wide off the track last time out at Marburg and chased gamely for the bronze behind BAILEYS WITH LEGS. With an economical trip, she will be probing for the openings.

SUBTLE ADVICE (3) made an error in a Trot Rods last time after a tidy 3rd when 4m from the winner over the 1780m trip. 12 months has passed since his last victory, with a place looking best here.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (6), OLIVER WINKLE (4), SWEET JASMINE (7), SUBTLE ADVICE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (6) to win

RACE FOUR

GENERAL MONTANA (1)
backs up from Thursday at The Creek where he was the lone back liner and was able to get away from the pegs before hitting the line strongly in the closing stages for 2nd. Firing off the arm to take control in a sub 27 opening panel two starts back, he was able to see it out and lower his PB to 53.2. From the gate he gets every chance.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (8) is 2 from 4 here on The Triangle and steps out here off a freshen following his last start victory in a qualifier. Taking the trail from gate 1, he had the best closing speed to edge out the leader UNCLE SHANK and fresh up here can be making a closing challenge.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (7) has been down the line in all four starts since resuming from a spell, the latest when chasing as REGULUS arrived. With the good trip in behind the speed, he can be sharper.

HARPS (4) settled in the running line last start and was trying to make some closing metres when finishing 4m in arrears of I NEED YOU NOW. With a tidy record on this deck, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: GENERAL MONTANA (1), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (8), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (7), HARPS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GENERAL MONTANA (1) to win

RACE FIVE

DEVOUGED (8) started from gate 3 last time out and doing some early work soon found the 1x1 trail. Hitting the line in nice order two starts back, he can look to press through in the early stages to secure position and in a wide-open contest is worthy of a ticket.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9) was chasing in vain last time at Marburg as MOTU CULLEN pulled clear for the prize. Buried away on the poles over the AP mile three starts back, he charged home in the closing stages to be just a half-head from the winner. He can be making a closing challenge.

JOY MAKER (2) was in search of a hat-trick last start when handed the outside second line gate at Marburg. That proved a hurdle too high and with the improve gate, she can look for a bounce back.

NON PASSARE (1) was taken back last start from gate 4 before trying to make a closing raid wide out, finishing midfield. Just 5m away the start prior, he has podium claims from the gate.

SELECTIONS: DEVOUGED (8), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9), JOY MAKER (2), NON PASSARE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DEVOUGED (8) to win

RACE SIX

MISTER DECORUM (9)
had two runs in three days off the back of a five-week gap between outings, grabbing 3rd to JOHNROD at the most recent start. A Marburg winner four starts back when sent around them in the early stages from the second line, he finds a winnable contest here.

BELLA GODIVA (1) was beaten by gate 5 last start when retreating to the rear but finished off in nice style when under 8m from the winner. It has been thirty months since her one and only victory, but she finds the gate and the opponents to chase down number two.

IM A SHY GUY (4) wilted last start after being asked to sit parked from gate 6 over the sprint trip. Chasing from the pocket trail the start prior, he is a rough podium hope with an easy trip.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6) has now had four runs back from a spell and should be approaching full fitness. Locked away from inside the second line last start at Marburg, he can chime in here

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (9), BELLA GODIVA (1), IM A SHY GUY (4), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DECORUM (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

UWATCHINGME (1)
will relish the opportunity to get to the tight gate after her past four have all been from the second line, the latest when back in the pack and trying to chase behind BLACKJEWEL. Yet to claim a Qld victory, she finds the conditions to capitalise.

TURN TURN FLYER (5) was beaten by the outside front line at Marburg last time out which followed a midfield finish after taking a trail from gate 1 and chasing behind GETALOADATHISBRO. Tightened from his last outing where he was fresh up, he can look to issue a challenge.

JAYDES TERROR (7) started from gate 3 over the AP mile last start and easing to the poles for some shortcuts was then held up and needing space that did not arrive. Wide off the track when trying to get into the race two starts back, she can enjoy the easy trip here.

AURORA ROSE (8) can look to dart down to the poles here and that could be the place to be in this battle. Her last win came when buried on the poles and can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: UWATCHINGME (1), TURN TURN FLYER (5), JAYDES TERROR (7), AURORA ROSE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: UWATCHINGME (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

TORQUE TO THE MAX (1) was first up back in Qld when leading all the way at headquarters to a tidy victory. Starting fav here last time out from outside the second line, she was making ground over the closing stages to grab the silver and with the improved gate this time, can dictate.

MISTER WOODPORT (9) started from inside the second line at Marburg last time out and buried away was able to pick up some nice metres in the closing stages to grab 2nd behind GETALOADATHISBRO. That was his first outing in six months and tightened from the run can challenge.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (4) was not suited last start when asked to do the heavy lifting outside the leader and faded as a result. 3rd the start prior, positioning cheaply can see him chime in here.

JACOBS THUNDER (7) was a winner here four starts back when pressing to the front and seeing it out. Not much has worked in his favour in the three runs since and with the cosy trip here can feature.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE TO THE MAX (1), MISTER WOODPORT (9), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (4), JACOBS THUNDER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE TO THE MAX (1) to win

RACE NINE

ONE LAST ROLL (1)
was just 7m from TEAGAN BANNER last start after settling in the running line from gate 4. Grabbing the bronze when wide off the track at Marburg the start prior, he comes up with the improved gate and has the hustle to protect the poles and look to go all the way.

LA SAFRON (5) had the easy trip in behind the leader last start over the 1780m and with a strong closing 800m was 6m in arrears of the winner TEAGAN BANNER. Tackling a strong qualifier claimed by HEMSWORTH the start prior, he has to negotiate the tough alley here.

LORIMER LADY (3) was a winner here four starts back and followed that with a 2nd to subsequent winner GLENLEDI COMMANDER. With the right trip she is in the mix.

SAGANO (7) has been kept fresh following her last start when buried in the run and finishing down the line behind LIFES BLACK. With a cosy trip she can look to chime in.

SELECTIONS: ONE LAST ROLL (1), LA SAFORN (5), LORIMER LADY (3), SAGANO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE LAST ROLL (1) to win
