RACE ONE

SHEZ GOT BLING (8) was put of play last start after making an error and breaking gait, ending her chances. Buried in transit the start prior, she has been campaigning at Albion Park in recent weeks and a return to the Peninsula where she has a tidy record can be the catalyst for a sharper effort.

MISTER WOODPORT (1) passed 12 months since his last win but should strip fitter from his latest offering where he was second up from a spell. Easing to the poles from outside the second line, he made good ground to be just 5m in arrears. 2nd at Marburg when resuming, the gate is a big benefit.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (4) showed some early hustle last start from gate 3 before finding the 1x1 trail but could not get warm in the closing stages. Pressing forward here can see her feature.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (5) has been well beaten in some recent attempts but strikes a field looking for form. The gate stings but settling cheaply can see him join in.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ GOT BLING (8), MISTER WOODPORT (1), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (4), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ GOT BLING (8) to win

RACE TWO

IAMAJOYRIDE (7) there looks some tempo in this contest and securing an economical trip against the poles could be the right place to be. A member of the Bernie Hewitt team, she was just a neck from the winner two runs back and then last start was collared by the handy SAINT EMILION. A winner here last winter at her only run on this deck, she just needs a gap with momentum.

TUNGSTEN TERROR (8) is 1 from 1 here at Redcliffe after claiming a Trot Rods event four runs back. A starting error ended his chances at his next outing and then his past two with the ODM embargo have seen him run some slice closing panels. Pressing through in a race with tempo, he can arrive.

GOLDEN SAND (9) was huge in defeat two starts back at Marburg where he was sent forward from the second line and three-wide the majority, was beaten just a half-head. Franking that effort with a career PB last start at The Creek when power running a 53.2 mile, look for him heating this up.

ROCKNROLL MAX (2) has the benefit of gate 1 with the scratching and can use his early hustle to protect the poles. Grabbed late after leading in a Trot Rods heat, he will be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: IAMAJOYRIDE (7), TUNGSTEN TERROR (8), GOLDEN SAND (9), ROCKNROLL MAX (2)
SUGGESTED BET: IAMAJOYRIDE (7) to win

RACE THREE

ROLAMAX (3)
held on for 3rd here last start after looking for gaps that if opening sooner may have seen him closer than the 8m margin from the winner he landed in. Asked to hang tough when parked through a smart last half here two runs back, positioning cheaply will be key to his chances.

BRYDON EARL (1) is on a short back-up from his outing at Tamworth on Thursday where he started in red figures for his first run for Richie Williams. Setting the speed from gate 1, he was unable to see it out, finishing 8m from the winner. He has the gate and options to issue a challenge in this.

THE HERVEY BAY (7) has hit the board in 8 of 12 here on The Triangle, including a gritty 2nd to TEAGAN BANNER here two starts back. Buried last start, he looks set to be behind a wall once again.

NOTORIOUS (8) should appreciate a return to this level of contest after tackling some much tougher opponents in his three runs back from a spell. With the right trip, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ROLAMAX (3), BRYDON EARL (1), THE HERVEY BAY (7), NOTORIOUS (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

JEWEL OF PEAK (1)
set the speed at Marburg two starts back and was trying to fight them off but had no answer behind subsequent winner WHATA ROLLER. Holding 2nd in that contest, she was setting the speed here last start where a 28.3 third panel after a pair of sub 30 opening splits was her undoing, she can control it this time to hold on.

IMA BEACH BABE (3) showed early speed before dropping into the pocket trail last time out over the 2040m trip and was trying to launch a closing raid. Finishing 2m in arrears of the winner SUZUKEE, she can get handy to the action here to again make a late play.

SWEET LOMBO (9) eased across from gate 4 last time to find the poles and was chasing all the way as COVER GIRL secured victory. Grabbing 3rd two starts back, he can make a play in this grade.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (2) faced gate 10 over the AP mile last start and was making some late metres to be just 4m from the winner in a blanket finish. A passing lane winner three starts back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: JEWEL OF PEAK (1), IMA BEACH BABE (3), SWEET LOMBO (9), IMA BIRUBI BOY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JEWEL OF PEAK (1) to win

RACE FIVE

HEAVENLY WISDOM (2) secures a big gate improvement for this assignment and should relish the chance to be up closer to the action. Snagged back from a wide gate in a mare’s qualifier claimed by VALKYRIE last start, she was asked to sit parked from gate 7 two back. This looks ideal.

PAGO PAGO (1) was a winner here four runs back after working home over the top from gate 8 after settling in the running line. Finding position back in the pack from gate 3 last time out, he could not eat into the deficit as WHATABOYJACK dictated. With the options from this gate, he can challenge.

CC JONES (4) started from the second line over the Newcastle mile last start and was sound to the line when 8m from the winner. Collared late after leading at Marburg two back, he can chime in.

CROSSED LEGS (5) could not overcome gate 10 last start which had followed runs in much tougher company. Only 5m away two starts back, she can be making a podium play.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENLY WISDOM (2), PAGO PAGO (1), CC JONES (4), CROSSED LEGS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVENLY WISDOM (2) to win

RACE SIX

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (5)
is in nice touch and will go in search of a hat-trick after successive wins at this track and trip. Pressing on from gate 6 to find the front last time, he was able to hold on for a 1m margin. Too strong when wide off the track two starts back, he can deliver the threepeat.

CHUMP CHOP (1) was beaten by gate 9 last start when sent to the post as the favourite but unable to get warm in the latter stages. Freshened since that outing, he was only beaten a half-head three runs back over the AP mile and with the gate advantage will be throwing it down.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) will take good benefit from her latest offering where she was resuming from a spell. Making some late metres to grab the bronze, look for her swooping.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7) was a winner here three starts back from gate 5 after retreating early and then charging over the top to score. With the economical trip, she will be probing for space.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (5), CHUMP CHOP (1), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISS MIA (1)
will make her 50th appearance here at The Triangle and looks to have found the ideal conditions for a breakthrough. Asked to do it the tough way last time over he 2040m trip, she wilted from the toll. Runner-up to RAANI four runs back, she has the options to capitalise.

CALVERT HOT SHOT (7) started from outside the 2nd line last time out and was trying to launch a closing raid, finishing just out of the money as BUKTHSYSTEM arrived. Following the speed, he can be in the position to issue a closing challenge.

AMUSED (8) eased across into the running line from a wide gate at Newcastle last time out before hitting the line smartly for the silver. With the right trip he can be joining in.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (5) faced the outside front line gate at headquarters last time out, sent forward to sit first over, he was able to graft it out and only faded late. The gate stings again, but he has claims.

SELECTIONS: MISS MIA (1), CALVERT HOT SHOT (7), AMUSED (8), ALLMIGHTY MAX (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MIA (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (1) is one month off chalking up five years since his last victory but may just have found the right battle to prevail in. Back in the pack last start when finishing midfield, he can use his early hustle to burrow through and search for the drought buster.

NEVAEVABEND (5) started from gate 2 over the AP mile last time out and in a steadily run contest could not go on with it. Luckless the start prior at Marburg, the gate makes it tough but in what looks an open contest, she gets the chance to make a closing challenge.

BLACKJEWEL (6) made a starting error last time out and cops the ODM embargo for the mistake. A winner here two starts back when taking them all the way, she can make a closing play to feature.

DEVELSTIX (3) has placed in 11 attempts here on The Triangle, the latest when making a late play for 3rd behind BLACKJEWEL. From the gate he can be handy enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (1), NEVAEVABEND (5), BLACKJEWEL (6), DEVELSTIX (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

THE MAHARANI (1)
tackled a mare’s qualifier last time out and did some early work before fading in the latter stages as VALKYRIE landed the passing lane victory. Placed in all three starts prior including a tough run first over when 4m from subsequent winner SHARP SHOOTER. She gets every chance.

ROLLONX (7) tackled a Trot Rods contest last time out when finishing down the line behind subsequent winner CRADLE OF FIRE. Buried in the run here two starts back, he attacked the line in nice order for 3rd and with the likelihood of a soft trip, can be ready to issue the closing challenge.

BUKTHSYSTEM (6) found conditions to suit last time out, securing the right trip and then owning the best closing speed. Building into that win with some nice efforts, the gate is the stinger here.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (4) was first up in Qld last time out from this same gate when easing into the running line and finishing soundly behind CHAL BE. With even luck she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: THE MAHARANI (1), ROLLONX (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (6), SHESA POCKETROCKET (4)
SUGGESTED BET: THE MAHARANI (1) to win

RACE TEN

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1)
fired off the arm from gate 1 over the AP mile three starts back and setting the tempo took them all the way in a PB winning rate. Beaten by the second line last time out, he comes up with the gate to take control and will be trying to see it out.

JACOBS THUNDER (7) started from this same alley last time out where he was sent out as the punters elect. Buried away, he was making late metres in finishing just on 3m in arrears of the winner TORQUE TO THE MAX. He gets the cosy trip again and will be ready to strike.
MY ULTIMATE HESTON (4) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out and picked up some late metres to grab the bronze. 3rd at Marburg three starts back, he can be chiming in here.

KIMMIK (3) faced a wide gate over the AP mile last time out and eased early was deep in the pack and could not get into it. From the gate she can settle handy enough to fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (1), JACOBS THUNDER (7), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (4), KIMMIK (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-7
