RACE ONE

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (4) was facing the outside front line here last start when easing into the running line over this trip. Looming strongly in the closing stages, he was able to get within a head of the winner. Moving closer to victory with some handy efforts leading into that, he can go one better.

LORIMER LADY (2) was a winner at this distance five runs back from this same alley when settled in the running line before finishing best to claim victory. Thereabouts in each run since, she was asked to do it the tough way last time before wilting late. Up near the speed can see her challenge.

ROCKSLIDE (3) was sent to the post as the fav here last start from gate 2 but could not muster leading speed and was forced to park out. Fighting hard for a 3m 2nd, he can feature once again.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (8) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after successive wins from gate 1, both at this trip and both when taking the trail. At his best up the passing lane, he has rough claims here.

SELECTIONS: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (4), LORIMER LADY (2), ROCKSLIDE (3), BEEF CITY BLAZE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (4), to win

RACE TWO

SWEET JASMINE (9) settled deep in the pack from gate 3 last start and was wide when making a closing raid to grab the silver behind a dominant CRADLE OF FIRE. Striking trouble two starts back yet still close to the winner, with the right trip she can be descending on them.

BETTING BARON (7) will be requiring a slice of luck and to see the passing lane with momentum from this gate, but if that can occur, he gets his chance. Using the passing lane from this gate last start when 6m in arrears of the winner, he can be probing for the run.

LANCELOT BROMAC (3) lines up for his 25th appearance here at Redcliffe in search of his first victory on this surface. Runner-up last start, he strikes a field that look to struggle at the 2040m which gives him the opportunity to feature.

BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (1) was banished to the trials last time out after making an error and gains the return ticket with a tidy hit out. The gate will help his podium chances.

SELECTIONS: SWEET JASMINE (9), BETTING BARON (7), LANCELOT BROMAC (3), BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET JASMINE (9) to win

RACE THREE

RAANI (9)
is not given many favours from outside the second line, yet with the right stroke of luck, this looks well within reach. Finding the 1x1 trail last time from gate 5, she was making some closing metres when 5m in arrears of the winner. Claiming a smart win from gate 7 four runs back, she can arrive.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (5) tackled a veteran’s contest at headquarters last time out when buried in the run and making some ground to finish midfield behind ITS MR CLOONEY. Striking trouble two starts back from inside the second line, he can throw down the challenge despite a sticky gate.

LETSPLAYUNI (7) found the pocket trail last start from gate 3 and using the passing lane grabbed the silver when under 2m from the winner DON LOU. With the soft trip, he can be looking to join in.

BONNIES DANCE (3) must take a quantum leap from maiden company to very experienced performers here at just her third career start. Breaking the maiden nicely last time out, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: RAANI (9), HOT ROD HEAVEN (5), LETSPLAYUNI (7), BONNIES DANCE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

ROCKINDOWNUMDER (2)
will take further benefit from her latest appearance where she was second up from a spell. 8m from BEEF CITY BLAZE when resuming from inside the second line, she set the speed last start with a slippery opening panel taking its toll. The added fitness is a plus.

ALTANA BLUE (9) was sent forward from a wide gate at Marburg three starts back and doing it the tough way was able to graft out the win. Only 3m from HE SAID SHE SAID at his next outing over the AP mile, he again did it tough last start and despite the gate can look to throw it down.

POLKA DOT DANCE (4) eased from gate 5 over this trip last start and was wide off the track when hitting the line smartly to be under 2m from the winner. Not far away the start prior, she has claims.

TEE RAVELLING (6) is 2 from 4 on this deck and comes back to the Peninsula after three runs back from a spell. Placed in the first two runs, a starting error cost him last start and lands the ODM embargo as a result.

SELECTIONS: ROCKINDOWNUNDER (2), ALTANA BLUE (9), POLKA DOT DANCE (4), TEE RAVELLING (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKINDOWNUNDER (2) to win

RACE FIVE

TEACHERS PET (1) started from inside the second line last start where she was soon buried three back and needing some luck to go her way. Finding some gaps to get within 4m of the winner and grab 3rd, it followed a half-neck 2nd after setting the speed from this same gate. She can see it out.

SHADYS CULLECT (7) was not suited when asked to sit parked here at her most recent appearance and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages. 5m from the winner over the AP 2138m trip two runs back after working into the contest strongly, the cosy trip here should be ideal.

MOTU CULLEN (9) was sent forward from the middle of the line over the AP mile last time out where he was required to do the heavy lifting when finishing midfield. With even luck he can feature.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6) has placed in two of his past four starts, the latest when sent to the post as the fav and working home wide off the track to be within 1.5m of the winner. The gate hurts.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (1), SHADYS CULLECT (7), MOTU CULLEN (9), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (1) to win

RACE SIX

A GOOD IDEAL (1)
has a smart record when finding the front in his races and is a four-time winner on this deck. His last Redcliffe appearance was five runs back when proving too tough after sitting parked from a second line gate and with a Marburg dictating win two starts back, he gets his chance to capitalise.

GETALOADATHISBRO (2) was aiming up for the hat-trick last start when firing out from gate 5 to find the front and running some even panels was collard in the closing strides to be a head in arrears of the winner. Successive Marburg preceded that last start 2nd and from this gate he can throw it down.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7) has been runner-up at his past two in succession as he continues to chase his first win of 2022. A beaten fav at his last outing, the easy trip looks ideal, and he will probe.

POM PAY (8) has also been runner-up in her past two starts, the latest when making some nice metres over the concluding stages after retreating from gate 6. A peg line run is on offer.

SELECTIONS: A GOOD IDEAL (1), GETALOADATHISBRO (2), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7), POM PAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE SEVEN

FEELGOOD EXPRESS (9)
is 2 from 2 here at The Triangle, the latest a tough effort from gate 6 here four runs back when sitting parked and claiming a 3m margin. Just 2m away at her next appearance at The Creek, not much has worked from bad gates at her past two. With even luck, she can go 3 for 3.

TOOLITTLETOOLATE (3) was first up in Qld last start when landing in the trail from gate 1 and finishing 5m in arrears of the winner DINOSAURUS REX. Running into some handy performers around the Central West of NSW in his previous starts, he finds conditions to challenge.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (4) capitalised from gate 1 here two starts back when burrowing through and taking them all the way. Just 2m away despite a tough trip last start, she can feature once again.

WHATA REACTOR (2) shoed early hustle before taking the trail here two starts back when holding on for the silver. Luckless last start when searching for gaps, she can be forward enough to join in.

SELECTIONS: FEELGOOD EXPRESS (9), TOOLITTLETOOLATE (3), TORQUE TO THE MAX (4), WHATA REACTOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELGOOD EXPRESS (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

DINOSAURUS REX (4) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out and with the ideal run was able to launch the closing raid to arrive in the closing stride to claim victory by a half-neck. A wheel issue ended his race prematurely two starts back, following a half-neck 2nd at Marburg. This appears within reach.

CHASIN DREAMZ (5) has been a model of consistency in recent weeks, hitting the board in 11 of her past 12 outings, which includes three victories. Making a mid-race move looking for the breeze, she was repelled and forced to retreat to the rear before a late play to grab 3rd. The gate stings but she can make a play.

BERTILS FIREFOX (2) held on for the bronze last start when 5m in arrears of the winner after doing it the tough way first over. With early hustle, he can be in a position to feature.

AROONA (8) will take some benefit from his last start outing where he was resuming from a spell. Settling in the running line before picking off some closing metres, he can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: DINOSAURUS REX (4), CHASIN DREAMZ (5), BERTILS FIREFOX (2), AROONA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DINOSAURUS REX (4 to win

RACE NINE

NIZHONI (6)
should appreciate tackling maiden company after meeting some more highly experienced campaigners at her debut over the AP mile. Making a starting error didn’t aid her chances and with some tidy trial form, she can look to overcome the gate impediment.

TONYS SECRET (8) was sent around them in the early stages last time out to do it the tough way. After racing first over, she faded in the stretch to be 9m in arrears of the winner. With the right trail through in the early stages, she can look to challenge for her first success.

EMMALEEN (7) has placed at her past three in succession as she moves closer to opening the win account. Buried from gate 1 last start, she took a while to wind up but was charging late to get within an eyelash. She will be searching.

OUTER CHANGE (1) showed some early hustle last start before finding the trail and holding on for the bronze behind BLUE BLOODZ. Second line gates stung at her previous two, with the improved gate a big plus for this contest.

SELECTIONS: NIZHONI (6), TONYS SECRET (8), EMMALEEN (7), OUTER CHANGE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
