RACE ONE

FRAYA (3) is yet to place in four attempts against her own age and will tackle this mixed maiden at her first look at The Triangle. Gate 10 was her undoing last start when back in the back as BLACKJACK BETH dictated in front. Back to this type of contest she looks to get every chance.

FURIOSA (1) made some nice metres over the concluding stages at her first Qld appearance when working home from a second line gate at Marburg. That was her first run back from a spell and kept fresh since that first appearance, the improved gate in this line-up is a big plus.

JILLIBY TYPHOON (7) is a 2YO Vincent filly on debut for Darrel Graham out of the three-time winner Queen Zenobia. Her latest trial was a tidy hit out and with an economical trip will be probing.

COULD IT BE ME (5) tackled the Showcase B stand start final last start where he was involved in a slick opening panel away from the tapes. Back to maiden company should suit.

SELECTIONS: FRAYA (3), FURIOSA (1), JILLIBY TYPHOON (7), COULD IT BE ME (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FRAYA (3) to win

RACE TWO

OUR FRIEND (2) started from gate 1 over the 2138m at headquarters last start when taking the trail and finishing 3m from the winner REDBANK MOLLY. Striking some trouble two runs back, he is yet to win from just four attempts here at Redcliffe but strikes the ideal opportunity to change that.

MY SECRET BEACH (1) has started from the second line at his past two starts, the latest when hemmed away and never really getting a crack at them. Grabbing 2nd despite copping some backwash at Marburg two runs back, he should be stalking the speed here.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when easing from gate 6 to settle rearward before making some closing metres to grab 3rd. The gate stings but he can chime in.

UNDERTHEKILT (8) eased down to the poles from the second line last time out before darting through along the passing lane to be just a half-neck away. He can again be joining in late.

SELECTIONS: OUR FRIEND (2), MY SECRET BEACH (1), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5), UNDERTHEKILT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR FRIEND (2) to win

RACE THREE

CRADOCK (8)
is still chasing an elusive maiden breaking victory after six career starts. Striking trouble last start in a heat of the Yearling Sales Series, it followed a 4m margin behind LADY DIGBY when sent out in red figures. Taking on a mixed age maiden, he finds his chance to headline.

IMTHECANDYMAN (6) has made errors in both career starts to date, the latest in a Sales Series Final when never in the mix. Striking trouble on debut from gate 7 over the AP mile, he is still got a bit to learn but can return a shaper performance in this.

FIVE STAR GEM (9) has drawn the pegs in both his career starts, inside the front first up and then inside the second line second up. He has podium claims in this mixed event.

SWIFT CHANGE (4) made her debut last time out when firing out from this alley to set the tempo but wilted over the latter stages. The experience can help for this contest second-up.

SELECTIONS: CRADOCK (8), IMTHECANDYMAN (6), FIVE STAR GEM (9), SWIFT CHANGE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CRADOCK (8) to win

RACE FOUR

GLITTER STRIP (3)
was banished to the trials last time out when tackling a middle-distance event at headquarters after striking an issue. Earning the return, his recent form has all been on the big deck in town and a return to Redcliffe where 5 of his 6 career wins have been recorded looks appealing.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (6) was a winner over the AP 21238m trip five runs back and has produced a mixed bag in the four runs since that win. Yet to land a win here on The Triangle and despite another tough gate, he looks to have found suitable conditions to issue a challenge.

TRACER BULLET (5) started from gate 9 last time out and was sent around the field in the middle stages to lead the one wide lane. Making a closing dive in the stretch when beaten a half-head, he can chime in again.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (1) lands her best gate since arriving in Qld and should secure the ideal trip in behind the speed. Making some late metres here two starts back, she will be searching for gaps.

SELECTIONS: GLITTER STRIP (3), WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (6), TRACER BULLET (5), SHESA POCKETROCKET (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GLITTER STRIP (3) to win

RACE FIVE

SUNNY COVE (8) has faced some tough gates in a brief career, starting no closer than gate 5 at his past seven successive starts. The experienced performers put it a little out of reach last start and he should appreciate getting back to this one-win grade. With added fitness, this looks within reach.

SARIE MARAIS (1) looked all set to dart into the passing lane here last start but instead was angled wider and made some closing metres to be 6m from the winner. Snagged back from a wide gate in that battle, she comes up with the gate and the options to issue a challenge.

FAST TRACKER (2) has hit the board in 6 of 15 career starts and will return from an 18-month stint on the sidelines in this contest. With a sound trial, he should improve on his achievements here.

FLASH FREDDIE (7) was a winner three starts back when darting through to take control and take them all the way. It has not gone to script in the two runs since and the soft trip here should suit.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY COVE (8), SARIE MARAIS (1), FAST TRACKER (2), FLASH FREDDIE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY COVE (8) to win

RACE SIX

FEELING THE POWER (8)
should appreciate a return to the mobile conditions after tackling he Showcase Final last start. They were a bit too slick, but he was not aided when carted out of play behind a tiring leader. Placed his previous four, with the right trip in this grade, he can arrive.

MUSTANG DUDE (2) was a Marburg winner four starts back when sent forward and pressing on to take control was then able to see it out. Striking trouble at his next appearance on that same deck, he was not too far from the winner here two runs back and can make a challenge again here.

ROCCO VARIETY (7) will be needing a slice of luck at some stage to find some gaps as he looks in danger of being buried. Using the passing lane last start to grab the bronze, he will be probing.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4) was fired off the tapes to set a hot tempo in the early stages in the Showcase final last start before wilting. Back to mobile conditions in this line up should suit.

SELECTIONS: FEELING THE POWER (8), MUSTANG DUDE (2), ROCCO VARIETY (7), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELING THE POWER (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

SHEZALUCKYLADY (3)
was able to overcome gate 6 here last start after retreating in the early stages before charging home smartly to claim the prize. A beaten fav two starts back when finishing 6m from the winner JET FORCE, her record at the 2040m is a query, but she looks to get her chance.

MONTEREY JACK (6) has the tough gate to negotiate but can do some work in his races if required. Sent to sit parked last start, after a tough trip he was able to grind it out and hold on for the silver when only beaten a head. A winner at the AP mile four runs back, he can throw it down.

SHEZ GOT BLING (1) started from the second line here at her latest appearance and after settling in the 1x1 trail was able to make some closing metres to grab 3rd when 3m in arrears of the winner. The gate is a big plus.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5) charged home over the top to claim the prize here two starts back to take a 4m margin. The wide gate is not ideal, but he can be making a closing play.

SELECTIONS: SHEZALUCKYLADY (3), MONTEREY JACK (6), SHEZ GOT BLING (1), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

PRINCESS CHILLA (2) made the most of gate 1 last time out when burrowing through to take control and from the front was able to see it out with a head to spare. This does not look much tougher and with some winning confidence can look to dictate once again.

ILLBEWATCHING (5) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon buried away and needing some factors in his favour. Charging home, he was able to arrive in time for the prize which had followed a tough effort when parked. Despite the tough gate, he can issue a challenge.

SUZUKEE (6) was chasing down a hat-trick of victories last start when a starting error made the task too great. Taking them all the way from gate 1 here two runs back, she can be chiming in.

MERGE RIGHT (1) has placed at her past three in succession, the latest when wide out and hitting the line in good order for the bronze. Tucked in behind the speed can see her right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: PRINCESS CHILLA (2), ILLBEWATCHING (5), SUZUKEE (6), MERGE RIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

ISOLATION (2)
has a handy enough record in this deck with a pair of wins and one minor in his five outings. Trying to make ground wide off the track last time in a qualifier behind OBI ONE, his closing panels were sharp the start prior from deep in the pack. Settling closer sets this up nicely.

ITS SUPER EASY (3) secured the pocket trail from inside the second line over the AP mile two starts back and then owned the closing speed to arrive. Finishing over the top of them again last start at the 2040m trip, he can be up close to the action to issue the challenge.

MAGICOL IDEAL (1) makes just his third appearance here at Redcliffe off the back of a down the line effort last time out over the AP mile behind SMOOTH CASH. The gate aids his chances.

FLO RYDA (6) found the right conditions here last week from gate 1 to burrow through and protect the poles to take them all the way. Hitting the line strongly the start prior, he can join in again.

SELECTIONS: ISOLATION (2), ITS SUPER EASY (3), MAGICOL IDEAL (1), FLO RYDA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ISOLATION (2) to win

RACE TEN

GOLDEN SAND (6)
should appreciate the drop-in class he will secure for this contest. Sent around them from the second line to sit parked last start in a 70Heat claimed by RYANS GANGSTER, it followed a dominant win over the AP mile in slick time. He can get forward to make his play.

UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (1) is a newcomer to Qld joining the Donny Smith barn and arrives a last start winner after taking them all the way at Parkes back on May 1. The form from that race has been franked with six subsequent winners in the vanquished. The gate helps fresh.

SAMMYS SECRET (7) broke the maiden tag after 21 starts here five runs back and has been able to add another two wins to the tally since. Arriving on the wire last start, he gets the easy trip again.

ASHLEE NITRO (8) is still chasing her first win of the season after 18 attempts. Making some nice ground in the closing stages here last time to be just 4m in arrears, she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SAND (6), UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (1), SAMMYS SECRET (7), ASHLEE NITRO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN SAND (6) to win
