RACE TWO

With this looking a race with multiple chances, FUTURE STRIDE (6) might just get the right type of trip here to pinch the prize. Backing up from Wed night at Redcliffe, his run there 2 starts back was a tidy effort when buried away from inside the 2^nd line. Not suited in the breeze here 2 starts back, he is worth a go.

I AM SERENGETI (9) lines up for the regular visiting Morris barn and comes into this with 2 prior placings at The Creek from 6 attempts. His run 2 starts back had merit over the Menangle mile when 5m in arrears of the winner ABITMOREBLISS and he be sure to be in the mix against these.

AT WEST POINT (3) earns the return to the main draw after making an error here 3 starts back when taking on a qualifier. The past 2 from gates 11 and 12 have ended his chances and with early speed, might just give some cheek in this.

LIVE ATOM (8) took on a qualifier over this trip last start when releasing the speed and then holding on for the bronze when 7m from the winner CHERRYS THE BEST. He will be probing for gaps in this.

RACE THREE

RUNFORTHEROSES (3) settled back in the pack last start from gate 10 and was strong to the line in the closing stages to be within 3m of the winner RED TERROR. That had followed a string of wide gates following a barrier misdemeanour. Back to the main draw in this line-up she can arrive.

LAUGHING EMOJI (8) found WITH THE BAND a bit too slick last start, she didn’t have any luck in the pocket trail 2 starts back when losing all momentum behind a stalling leader. With  rub of the green and if able to sight space and still have to track to work with, she can throw down the challenge.

DATITUDE (10) has been in the money at her past 3 in succession, the most recent when hitting the line in nice style for the silver behind B MAC C. With even luck in transit she can chime in again.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH (1) wasn’t suited last start from wide out in gate 6. The start prior in a 2^nd division qualifier, he couldn’t go on with it but with the right trip here can be sharper.

RACE FOUR

B MAC C (5) has been in great touch since arriving in Qld and will shoot for his 4^th win at The Creek at just his 6^th appearance. His closing power was on display 3 starts back when he charged home from back in the pack to a smart win and then last start displayed some grit in winning from the breeze. He looks tough to roll again here.

SEA HAWKE (4) will take further benefit from his latest outing when 2^nd up from a let-up. Taking on a qualifier from gate 12, he was sent looking for short-cuts when closing out in good fashion. That followed a nice effort 1^st up from gate 6 and with the right trip, is in the mix.
 
RED TERROR (1) pressed forward to take control over the sprint trip last time out when making his Qld debut and once in control had a neck to spare in a new career PB rate. The rise in trip is a query, but he stays under watch.

TODAYS HERO (6) found the line in good order from gate 11 last start which followed a tidy effort from this same gate over the mile. The gate is a stinger again, but he can chime in late.

RACE FIVE

JINGLES BROMAC (6) is a newcomer to Qld and will make his 1^st appearance in the Sunshine State. Arriving a three-time winner on the North Island of NZ, he has trialled in good order for his 1^st outing under the tutelage of Mark Rees, the latest a nice effort when charging home late. Striking a winnable race 1^st up, he is worth a ticket.
 
BEAUDACIOUS (5) was buried away from inside the 2^nd line start and things didn’t go his way when not receiving the cleanest passage to the wire. Mid-field the start prior behind the handy MUMMYS BOY, he took them all the way here 3 starts back and can get forward to look to repeat that here.

FEEL THE THUNDER (4) did some early work to press forward last start before receiving cover but couldn’t go with them when the power went on. Snagged back the start prior, this looks more suitable.

CROWN MOJO (1) returns from a spell following a 4-start campaign to open his career as a 3YO. Starting fav in 3 of those, he didn’t fire a shot, but with the good alley on return, stays under notice.

RACE SIX

6 of the 8 combatants here come through the same race last start, giving a solid form lead. Despite being a beaten fav in that race FOREVER ROCKING (6) can bounce back here. Landing gate 12 in that race taken by MIND OF MY OWN, she was a long way back before hitting the line nicely in a sharp last panel. The gate hurts again, but she can bounce back.

MIND OF MY OWN (3) broke her maiden status last start when pressing forward from gate 6 and once finding the front was able to control the mile and power home to a 5m victory. With wide gates at her 2 runs back this campaign, the improved gate is a big plus and she looks tough to crack again.

KAY NORA SHANNON (8) will need a slice of luck from this alley, but with the cosy trip can be ready to fire a closing shot. Forgive her last start in a mares qualifier, she can be sharper here.

BROKEN ARK (2) is getting closer to his 1^st win of the season after placing at his past 3 in succession. He did plenty of work in the run last start from gate 7 when grabbing the silver behind MIND OF MY OWN and can go close here.

RACE SEVEN

OUR MEMPHIS MAC (1) was angled to the pegs last start and was soon buried 3 back as he tried to make closing ground when down the line behind RECIPE FOR DREAMING. Only 7m in arrears the start prior again when buried, he should appreciate the drop to claiming grade and gets his chance.

COURAGEOUS LEO (2) sat in the pocket trail from inside the 2^nd line here 2 starts back in a stronger conditioned event when finishing a half-head from the winner WITH AUTHORITY. Hitting the line nicely last start when only a neck away over the Redcliffe sprint trip, the 2138m is a concern, yet it looks to be for a few of these.

COMPLY OR DIE (5) angled into the trail last start from gate 3 and from there chased all the way to hold the silver behind SECRET JACK. With speed off the arm, he can fire an early shot and can’t be dismissed.

ONE WISE MAN (4) bounced back to form last start to end a long winless streak, arriving from the 2^nd line in a tidy closing 800m over the Redcliffe 1780m. Back to claiming grade he can feature.

RACE EIGHT

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (4) resumes from a spell here after a less than ideal start when arriving in Qld. Banished to the trials 1^st up, she returned and made an error 2^nd up that saw her again sent back to the trials. While she has plenty of vices, her 2 trials to earn the return have been encouraging and if bringing something close to her best, this would be within reach.
 
NO TRANSACTIONS (3) was angled to the pegs last start from his 10m tape and found the line in good order to grab the bronze when 8m from the winner HEART OF CHANGE. Forced to chase off bigger imposts his previous 2 starts, he can throw down a strong challenge from the 10m in this.

ILLAWONG CHAMPERS (1) is normally a safe beginner and from the front tape can settle in a forward position. They were a bit sharp for him last start and he looks better suited in this company.

MYRTLE BEACH (2) took on the pacers last start when locked away on the pegs and didn’t have the sprint to go with them. Only beaten by her handicap the start prior, she is in the mix.
