RACE TWO

A small claimer here with a few of these having early speed which could set it up for a tactical contest. Owning good speed off the arm, SABRAGE (2) should appreciate a return to the claiming conditions and was able to hold on for the bronze behind CASINO TOMMY here on Tuesday. Luckless the start prior when pinned away, he gets his chance here.

FEEL THE REIGN (3) took on a Band 5 event last start when asked to do it the tough way when racing first over as ROYAL AURORA powered home to score. Not that far from FRANCO HAMPTON the start prior, he is racing well and can throw it down here.

KETUT (1) turned back the clock at Redcliffe last start, leading for the first time in a race since December 2017. Running some even splits, he could not see it out and faded late. Proven effective up the passing lane, he can get the run to make a closing play.

SELECTIONS: SABRAGE (2), FEEL THE REIGN (3), KETUT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

A tricky trot to dissect with the longer trip of 2647m certainly sorting a few of these out. Combined the field can boast 185 starts beyond 2600m for 19 wins between them. Just running out of time in the McNeil Final last start, ALADDIN SANE (6) was closing strongly to finish as the runner-up to UNKNOWN SON and from the 10m can go one better in this.

ONE NIGHT OUT (1) found the perfect conditions here last start when moving to the front line after starting off 20m in the McNeil Series. Showing manners from the tapes, he stepped cleanly at the 2138m and once in control was able to score an easy 5m victory. His record over the longer distance is the query.

ORLANDO JOLT (7) made a complete mess of proceedings last time out and his chances evaporated before they had even started. A winner in both heat rounds of the McNeil over the 2138m, he can handle the extra trip.

IM THE COMMANDO (5) started from a 20m tape last start when midfield behind ONE NIGHT OUT. Moving to the 10m tape under these conditions, if able to get forward where he does his best work, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: ALADDIN SANE (6), ONE NIGHT OUT (1), ORLANDO JOLT (7), IM THE COMMANDO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ALADDIN SANE (6) to win

RACE FOUR

MOONAN NINA (4) was returning from a spell here 2 runs back when catching the eye after charging home from back in the pack to grab the silver. Franking that run, she was able to break the maiden status last time out when finishing over the top of them. With the added experience, she can look to rinse and repeat.

WANNAGO (7) was 2nd up from a spell last time out when sent around the field in the early stages from the 2nd line to get outside the leader. Proving too strong she was able to claim a smart 3m victory. That had followed a tidy return when 3rd and with the added fitness can look to overcome the tough alley.

HURRIKANE HOUR (6) eased away from inside the 2nd line last start to find the running line and after securing the 1x1 trail was sound to the line for the silver behind BIG GEM MONTANA. The gate sting but he is in the mix.

OCEAN LANE (5) has hit the board in all 4 starts since arriving in Qld, including a close-up 3rd behind LIVING GRAND when only a half-head away. With early speed, she can be positioned to feature.

SELECTIONS: MOONAN NINA (4), WANNAGO (7), HURRIKANE HOUR (6), OCEAN LANE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MOONAN NINA (4) to win

RACE FIVE

DESPONDENT (8)
will be requiring a slice of luck and some factors in his favour, but if he can get to the passing lane with momentum, he finds the right race to break a frustrating run of outs. Spending some early petrol from gate 5 last start, he could not finish it off and the start prior it just did not go his way.

WOODLANDS WONDER (6) had the perfect trip in behind the leader last start at Redcliffe and was able to capitalise in finishing with the closing sprint to claim a half-neck victory. Buried in the run the start prior and not really winding up, if securing position cheaply, he can challenge late again here.

KAY NORA SHANNON (10) has hit some nice areas and lines up here for a threepeat of wins. Scoring here on Tuesday when finishing over the top, it followed a passing lane win at Redcliffe. Look for her making a closing play here.

SIR BULSKI (2) had an early look last start at Redcliffe but being repelled was content to roll the sleeves and grind it out when only a half-neck from the winner. Settling handy can see him feature again in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: DESPONDENT (8), WOODLANDS WONDER (6), KAY NORA SHANNON (10), SIR BULSKI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DESPONDENT (8) to win

RACE SIX

SHEZ ALL STYLE (1)
made the most of this gate and trip last start when keeping them wide from the start and then dictating the tempo to land an all-the-way victory with 5m to spare on the line. Placed her previous 3 starts, including twice at the middle-distance, she has early options to look for the repeat victory.

SAVING MAJOR PERCY (9) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here at The Creek over the mile. Beaten a neck at his Qld debut, he showed early speed when 2nd up to lead before releasing and then gassing STINGER LINDENNY up the passing lane. Charging home wide out last start, he will be attacking in the stretch battle.

ALE ALE KAI (6) found the conditions to suit at Redcliffe 2 starts back when finishing over the top of them from the 2nd line to claim a tidy win. 1m from the winner JAY TEE TYRON here on Tuesday, she can be chiming in.

ROYAL OBSESSION (4) started from gate 6 at his last start and with no position on offer was forced to retreat and then never a factor. 3rd in a tidy effort here 2 starts back, settling closer will be key.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ ALL STYLE (1), SAVING MAJOR PERCY (9), ALE ALE KAI (6), ROYAL OBSESSION (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

The front-line speed and map poses a few early questions here and the way this shapes it could be set up nicely for FAIRIESDELIGHT (10) to arrive. Making a mess of the start at her 1st Qld appearance, she did not have much luck thereafter and then last start she attacked the line hard. With a rub of the green, she can arrive in this.

MAGGIE (5) eased from gate 3 to avoid the early blowtorch with a sub 27 opening panel thrown down. Making strong metreage in the losing stages, she was able to grab the bronze when within 5m of the winner SAVING MAJOR PERCY. Fading after a tough run the start prior, she can be in the fight.

HIGH ON MONTANA (2) was beaten for early speed last time out from this alley and settled back in the running line before making a strong closing challenge when 4.5m away. He will be thereabouts once again.

COURAGEOUS SAM (1) has had 3 starts back to resume his 3YO season, with each of those appearances at Redcliffe. He steps up somewhat here, but with the gate offsetting the rise, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: FAIRIESDELIGHT (10), MAGGIE (5), HIGH ON MONTANA (2), COURAGEOUS SAM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FAIRIESDELIGHT (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

MOHS EM DOWN (5)
was 1st up with Donny Smith last start when eased away from the pegs in the early stages from inside the 2nd line. Closing strongly in the stretch, he was narrowly defeated when a lip short of the prize. He might need to hang tough here but with the added fitness can land the breakthrough.

NIMAH FRANCO (1) worked to the front last start and was looking to take them all the way. Setting a smart tempo out in front, it was only the talented TIZ A SIZZLER that was able to get past her in claiming victory by a neck. From this gate with her early speed, she has all the options to challenge.

OHOKA JIMMY (3) found the pegs before releasing here 2 starts back and with the perfect trip was able to land a winning blow. Down the line behind a dominant SHANNONSTHEMAN last start, he can be thereabouts.

BOMBADIER JUJON (8) will strip fitter from his latest appearance when returning from a break where he was hitting the line in nice order behind MAJORGENERAL JUJON. With the right trip he can strike.

SELECTIONS: MOHS EM DOWN (5), NIMAH FRANCO (1), OHOKA JIMMY (3), BOMBADIER JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-8

RACE NINE

STINGER LINDENNY (3)
ran a strong 2138m last start out in front, laying down each panel in sub 30 and then able to kick clear in the stretch to claim a 4m victory. Gunned down the start prior over this trip as SAVING MAJOR PERCY landed the winning shot, he can get look to fight them off in front once again.

THE HERVEY BAY (9) was sent to the post in red figures last start when 2nd up from a break and was required to do plenty of work in the early stages to get forward from gate 4. Facing the breeze, he was in for the fight and only went under by a neck. He can roll the sleeves if required to challenge.

B MAC C (5) will take some benefit from his latest outing when 1st up from a break. Pinned down on the pegs throughout, he chased home soundly behind PACIFIC DRUMS. He can ease before charging late.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (10) has been in great touch on The Triangle in recent weeks and heads back to town with 3 wins and 2 close 2nds in his past 5. Working around to the breeze with a lap to travel last start, he is right in the mix.

SELECTIONS: STINGER LINDENNY (3), THE HERVEY BAY (9), B MAC C (5), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: STINGER LINDENNY (3) to win
