RACE TWO

WANNAGO (8) will be tightened from her return to the track when 1st up since August here last time out. After a steady trial in readiness for the return, she was chasing late to grab 3rd behind stablemate HURRIKANE HOUR at her return. With even luck in the early stages, she finds a suitable race 2nd up.

BRISKET (3) made the most of the circumstances to take them all the way here 3 runs back when returning from a freshen. Taking the trail at his next appearance when midfield behind TYPHOON TORQUE, forget his last start when striking trouble in the run that ended his chances. With the right trip he can challenge.

GETTN GOSPEL (7) will strip fitter from her 1st outing here in Qld when securing the pocket trail from this same gate and the finishing best to claim a maiden breaking victory. Looking to need some luck, she will be probing.

AMARONE (4) will take good benefit from her latest outing when returning to kick off her 3YO term. Sent forward from the 2nd line, she held on for the bronze, albeit 22m from the winner and she has claims in this.

SELECTIONS: WANNAGO (8), BRISKET (3), GETTN GOSPEL (7), AMARONE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WANNAGO (8) to win

RACE THREE

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (9)
was a winner here 4 starts back from this gate when saved for one run was powering home over the top of them to land the loot. Forget her next 2 when tackling much stronger mares qualifiers, she returned here last start when beaten a head. She can arrive.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (6) was sent forward from this gate last time out and asked to roll the sleeves was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze. He has struggled to land a gate in recent outings and despite scraping the Garrards sign again here at the start, can get forward to challenge.

GLENCOE REIGN (1) was doing some early work last start prior to receiving cover and then finishing 5m from the winner BERTILS FIREFOX. With the early options here, he can feature.

FAMOUS SHOES (8) has been around the money recently with a placing in 4 of his past 5 outings. Angled to the pegs last start for the short-cuts, he was strong to the line when 4m away and can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: MIDNIGHT QUEEN (9), FORTYFIVE ROCK (6), GLENCOE REIGN (1), FAMOUS SHOES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MIDNIGHT QUEEN (9) to win

RACE FOUR

The 2040m of this race makes it a tricky contest to dissect with many of these struggling over the middle-distance. 2nd up since returning to Qld last time out, IMA BIRUBI BOY (2) made the most of gate 1 at Marburg to lead all the way in taking a half-neck victory. With early hustle, he might be the one to outlast them.

STUDLEIGH WILL (4) faded last start after working hard in the run and he was a long way down the line as CYCLONE KELLY claimed the prize. Pressing forward from gate 5 here 2 starts back and working over the sprint trip, he was game in holding on for the bronze. His workload will determine his chances.

MAYWYNS HONEY (3) has hit the board in 3 of her 6 at the middle distance and has been in nice touch at her past 2, including a win here 2 runs back. Securing position cheaply will be key to her hopes.

SHEZ GOT BLING (7) started fav last start from gate 5 and after retreating to secure position was under pressure before rallying to grab the silver. Locked away here, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: IMA BIRUBI BOY (2), STUDLEIGH WILL (4), MAYWYNS HONEY (3), SHEZ GOT BLING (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (2)
eased from gate 4 over the AP mile last start and after settling back in the pack was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to get within an eyelash of victory behind LIVING GRAND. Not much went right the start prior at her 1st run for Lachie Manzelmann and with the improved gate she can go one better.

COBBLER LANE (6) lands the tough gate for this, but comes into the contest with a smart last start victory here over this trip, Setting back in the pack from the 2nd line, he was sent around them at the right time to pull clear to a dominant victory. A tidy 3rd at The Creek 3 starts back, he can make a challenge in this.

ONYAJANS (9) held the pocket trail from gate 1 last start but was bereft of bullets when needing to take her shot in the stretch. Closing soundly for 3rd here 2 runs back, the return to the 1780m suits.

NON PASSARE (1) is one of those types that seems to be hard to catch but does come up with the alley to make his presence felt here. Game in defeat last start at Marburg, the gate aids his chances.

SELECTIONS: OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (2), COBBLER LANE (6), ONYAJANS (9), NON PASSARE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (2) to win

RACE SIX

FEEL THE THRILL (1)
was a winner form this gate over this trip 4 runs back when taking them all the way in claiming a narrow victory. Wide gates have been his nemesis at every start since where he has been unsuited. His last start had some merit when stuck for position and back to this alley gets his chance.

COUNTRY RUN (3) was not suited last start from inside the 2nd line and after being buried in the run then also made a costly error. Pressing forward to take control from gate 4 here 2 runs back, he was unable to stave off the challengers when 5m in arrears. Taking a shot from the gate, he can go close.

SIGNOR JUJON (6) has no favours from the wide alley in this, but with this a shade or 2 easier than recent outings, he might just be able to overcome the alley. An all the way winner here 3 back, he is in the mix.

ARTISTIC SAINT (7) did some early work to hold position last start at Marburg when finishing down the line behind OUR FRIEND. Grinding it out the start prior, he can get the easy trip here to chime in.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE THRILL (1), COUNTRY RUN (3), SIGNOR JUJON (6), ARTISTIC SAINT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE THRILL (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISS MIA (7)
slid across in the early stages to find the 1x1 trail from the wide gate last time out at Marburg before finishing over the top of them to claim the prize. That had followed a down the line effort in a much stronger race. With the likelihood of the cosy run, she can take the snipers shot.

SWEET LOMBO (8) will take great benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell. Taken back from gate 6 when returning, he was too far back to make a challenge as APACHE WHITESOX arrived. Sent straight to the front last start, he fought them off in a smart win. The gate is tricky, but he can challenge.

BUSTN FEELZ GOOD (1) was in the pocket trail here 3 runs back and held on for the bronze when only 1m from the winner. Runner-up 2 runs back over the AP mile, he has the early hustle to control this and will be gripping on.

ROBINMEGOOD (5) has been in nice touch this season with 3 wins in his past 5 starts, the latest when arriving over the top from gate 9 to claim the prize. The gate stings here, but he can feature.

SELECTIONS: MISS MIA (7), SWEET LOMBO (8), BUSTN FEELZ GOOD (1), ROBINMEGOOD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE EIGHT

This looks wide-open and early position will be vital for a few of these to enhance their chances. Likely to ease in behind to secure a nice trail ASHLEE NITRO (3) might just be the one to make the closing shot a winner. Powering over the top of them to score here 4 runs back, she was making a closing play when 3rd to SHERBETS CHOICE last start. Worth a ticket in a tough one.

TOANUI SPIRIT (4) tackled a mares qualifier last start when showing some early speed to secure a spot before looking for space that did not arrive when needed. 7m in arrears of the winner HOT EMBERS here 2 runs back, she has early speed and can be looking to press forward to challenge.

SONNY SAVEAO (6) earned his ticket back into the main draw last start but comes up with the outside again. Eased before trying to make a play wide out last start, he is a podium chance.

PACIFIC COIN (9) fired off the arm from gate 5 here last start and after a steady opening panel, was trying to fight them off when nabbed late by SHERBETS CHOICE. The gate is not ideal but he can join in.

SELECTIONS: ASHLEE NITRO (3), TOANUI SPIRIT (4), SONNY SAVEAO (6), PACIFIC COIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ASHLEE NITRO (3) to win

RACE NINE

SABRAGE (4)
heads to The Triangle where he has been around on just the solitary occasion previously when landing the loot. The closing tempo made it hard for the chasers at the end of the 2138m last start and the run prior he was gunned down late. With early speed, he can fire the first shot and looks to get his chance for an overdue win.

ELMS CREEK (7) will be sweating on the gaps here as he looks in danger of being pegged away. Racing well of late without much working in his favour, he was charging home behind CASINO TOMMY 2 runs back and the latest run was good under the circumstances. Just needs a rub of the green.

DYNAMIC BROMAC (1) returns from a spell after being claimed last start to join the Darrel Graham barn. Not asked for much in a recent trial here, he has the perfect gate fresh to be in the money.

SQUIRE (6) was sent forward from this gate last start over the sprint trip and after doing all the heavy lifting was still grinding when 4m from the winner. Fitter for the run after a freshen, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: ELMS CREEK (7), SABRAGE (4), DYNAMIC BROMAC (1), SQUIRE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

WICKED AZZ (5)
has the ODM tag resulting from her latest start when making an error in the score up last time out that ended all chance. Pressing forward to find the front the start prior over the AP mile, she was in for the fight when grabbed in the closing stages by OHOKA JIMMY. This looks within reach.

MONTEREY JACK (4) faced the six-hole last start when retreating in the early stages to secure position. With the leader and winner AQUA CRUISER making it tough for the chasing pack, he was sound to the line. Buried away from inside the 2nd line the start prior, this looks more suitable.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) eased from gate 4 last time out to secure position before trying to make a late impression when 9m from the winner AQUA CRUISER. The gate is a big help to her chances.

ONLY IN ROME (7) will need a slice of luck from this gate as he looks set to be pinned down after release. Fading last start when trying to dictate in a qualifier, back to this grade can see a sharper return.

SELECTIONS: WICKED AZZ (5), MONTEREY JACK (4), GETALOADATHISGIRL (1), ONLY IN ROME (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WICKED AZZ (5) to win
