RACE TWO

MACHS MARETA (5) eased away from the inside last start after starting from inside the 2nd line when taking on a mares qualifier. They were not really making any ground in the closing stages from the rear as ICE PICK ANGIE scored. Hitting the line strongly the start prior, she can attack late here.

VENUS JUJON (1) has been runner-up in 3 of her past 5 starts, the latest here 2 runs back when making a closing attack to get within a neck of the winner. Doing her share of early work to secure a forward spot last start, she was 9m from the winner. She gets a challenging chance from this alley.

SABREUR (2) made the most of his chances from gate 1 last time out when taking them all the way to score his 1st win in Qld. Meeting some stronger opponents leading up to that win, he is in the mix.

NEARIS GREEN (4) will take his 1st look at the Redcliffe track in his 4th Qld appearance. Working hard in the run last start, he was grinding away as SQUARE DEALER arrived. He can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MACHS MARETA (5), VENUS JUJON (1), SABREUR (2), NEARIS GREEN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MACHS MARETA (5) to win

RACE THREE

In a race that looms as a tricky contest to dissect, it might be FAMOUS SHOES (3) that can get the right trip to end a winless drought stretching back to August. Working home in the latter stages last start to be 2m from the winner, his run 3 back was a sound effort, and he can get the conditions here.

RAYONG PRINCESS (8) has not been too far away since winning here 5 runs back when scoring a tough win from outside the leader. Runner-up at her past 2, the latest when charging home to be 2m from the winner LITTLEDEE over the AP mile, she can be making a closing challenge once again.

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (4) was repelled for the lamp lighting duties last week and after forced to hang tough first over, was out of bullets when straightening for home. If she can take control here, she will be gripping on.

WRITEABOUTHELSEA (1) has been to the track 4 times since returning from a spell with her latest run when working hard in the run an improved effort. From this gate she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: FAMOUS SHOES (3), RAYONG PRINCESS (8), MIDNIGHT QUEEN (4), WRITEABOUTHELSEA (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

ELLE JAY (4) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back when taking control and keeping them chasing in landing a big 33m victory. Gunned down as the fav at her next start at The Creek over the 1660m trip, she can flash some early moves here and if able to limit the early burn, will be hard to hold out.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (5) was asked to work hard last start from the breeze and after the tough trip faded to trail the field home. Fighting on when leading here 2 starts back, he was runner-up to the subsequent winner GROOVY MISS ANNIE 3 starts back. Limiting the workload is key to his chances.

MANOFLISA (6) has been runner-up at his past 2 attempts, the latest when the tempo was steady and from back in the pack was always facing a task. The gate is a stinger, but he can the thereabouts.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) held the pocket trail from this same gate last start and was looking to make a closing play when 1m from the winner. With the economical trip he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (4), TICK OF THE CLOCK (5), MANOFLISA (6), ITS YOU NOT ME (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ELLE JAY (4) to win

RACE FIVE

MISS CATALINA (7)
was a winner via the passing lane here 3 runs back after being pinned away 3 back against the poles and flashing late speed to arrive. Probing for openings again last start, she looks set to position one spot closer and if hitting the passing lane with momentum will be hard to stop.

CONDAFEW (8) was making a closing play here over the sprint trip 2 starts back when grabbing the bronze and finishing only a head from the winner. Eased to the pegs from gate 5 here 3 runs back and chiming in for the silver, he can be tucked away and look for the cheap run to challenge.

OUR LITTLE GIRL (1) was sent to the post as fav last start and after an early scrimmage the race was re-run and from the front, she was grabbed in the last strides. From the gate she will be gripping on.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (3) has placed in 3 of her past 5 starts, the latest when setting the speed from gate 2 over the 1780m and fading to 3rd. Settling close to the action, she is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: MISS CATALINA (7), CONDAFEW (8), OUR LITTLE GIRL (1), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS CATALINA (7) to win

RACE SIX

LA PISTOLA (7)
found the front prior to releasing the pressure here 2 starts back and chased hard in holding the silver as AQUA CRUISER dominated in front. From inside the 2nd line last start, he was 2m from the all-the-way winner FEEL THE THRILL and with the cosy trip gets his chance to try to outsprint them.

SIGNOR JUJON (4) was sent around the field from the 2nd line last start and obliged to do it the tough way when 4m in arrears of the winner TORQUE IS MY GIRL. Gate 6 was his undoing the start prior when retreating early and then just too far back to challenge. From this gate he can make a play.

SWEET LOMBO (8) was a winner here 3 runs back when sent to the front from gate 5 and fighting them off to score. 5m away at his next run, he closed in good order last start and is in the mix once more.

FEEL THE THRILL (1) was building towards a win after fighting hard for the 2nd here 2 runs back and franked that when leading throughout at his next appearance. From the gate he gets his chance to take them all the way.

SELECTIONS: LA PISTOLA (7), SIGNOR JUJON (4), SWEET LOMBO (8), FEEL THE THRILL (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

BERTILS FIREFOX (1) has hit some nice areas and lines up here with 3 wins in his past 4 starts. After successive wins at the 1780m, he tried to take them all the way over the 2040m when unable to see it out and holding on for 3rd. Bouncing back to score after releasing last start, he gets all the options to take this.

MAYWYNS HONEY (7) was beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating early to find position. Making a sustained run from back in the pack, she was within 5m of the winner in finishing midfield. A smart winner here 4 starts back, she looks set for an economical trip and can make a closing play.

FEELING THE POWER (3) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon angled into the running line. Finishing strongly, he arrived to claim a smart win. With the right trip he can feature.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (5) was a winner here 2 starts back from gate 6 when sent forward and creating the space for the pocket trail. Gunned down last start after setting the tempo, he will take a shot.

SELECTIONS: BERTILS FIREFOX (1), MAYWYNS HONEY (7), FEELING THE POWER (3), FORTYFIVE ROCK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-7

RACE EIGHT

This is a tough maiden and despite facing a trick inside 2nd line gate, THREE MACHS (7) has been going well enough to open her account in this line-up. Best of the chasers behind the big winner AFTER DARN last start, she was chasing hard behind LETS BLAZE 3 runs back. If finding space in time, this can be her night.

ESSENTIAL THREE (4) has placed in 4 of her 6 career starts as she moves closer to a breakthrough. Firing across to take control from gate 3 over the sprint trip 2 starts back, she was gripping on when only a half-neck in arrears of the winner. Securing position cheaply will be key to her challenging chances.

KAMEKONA (8) resumes from over 18 months on the sidelines, last seen back in August of 2019. Places in 2 of his past 5 starts, he was sound in a recent trial and should take great benefit from the outing.

BONDI PRINCE (5) has been to the track on 3 occasions since returning from a spell, the latest when finishing 4th but only 1m from the winner in a blanket finish. The gate is not ideal, but he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: THREE MACHS (7), ESSENTIAL THREE (4), KAMEKONA (8), BONDI PRINCE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THREE MACHS (7) to win

RACE NINE

THE REAPER (8) has not contested a race here at The Triangle since December 2019, but he has tidy figures here with 2 wins and 4 minors in 9 outings. Mixing gait when they were released last start, he was able to get back into a trot before working forward and working hard in the run proved too strong. From 20m he will take some stopping.

AVEROSS DON (9) has only had the one start here at Redcliffe when a beaten fav behind TORFINO MIST. HE should be near full condition now after 4 runs back from a spell, the latest when finding the pocket trail from a 10m tape and finishing 8m from the winner ONE NIGHT OUT. Despite the 30m tape, he can challenge.

DAY TOURER (1) has great manners and comes up with the front tape where he can look to take an early advantage. Fading late as THE REAPER arrived last start, back to Redcliffe can see him be thereabouts.

NORAHS FLING (5) was runner-up to KAPAI here 3 runs back and followed that with a 3rd when 6m in arrears of the winner at Marburg at her next start. With great manners she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: THE REAPER (8), AVEROSS DON (9), DAY TOURER (1), NORAHS FLING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THE REAPER (8), to win
