Racing Queensland advises that the Brisbane Racing Club meeting on Wednesday, March 16, has been transferred from Doomben to Eagle Farm.

The change has been made to provide the Doomben track with some much-needed respite following the recent weather event and leading into the TAB Queensland Winter Racing Carnival.

As a result, there has been changes made to some of the race distances on the program. They are:

  • Benchmark 70 Handicap – was 1350m, is now 1400m;
  • Benchmark 65 Handicap – was 1050m, is now 1000m; and
  • 3yo Benchmark 65 Handicap – was 1050m, is now 1000m.

The remainder of the program remains unaltered from that which was published in the February edition of RQ’s RACE magazine.
