RACE TWO

DUKE (5)
was a winner here two starts back when sent to the front from gate 3 and once able to assume control was able to fight them off in claiming a 2m victory. Trying to work into it from the second line here on Thursday, he can overcome the tough gate.

CLARES FOOL (3) should find this a little easier than recent outings and comes up with the gate to fire some early bullets. His numbers don’t show much but with the chance to look for the lamp lighting duties, he can be sharper.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (6) showed the speed from gate 1 to lead here last time out but the opening quarter in sub 30 and then copping some [pressure proved too much. He will be searching for gaps.

AURORA ROSE (1) started from this same alley last time out when showing early hustle prior to releasing. From the gate she can again be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DUKE (5), CLARES FOOL (3), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (6), AURORA ROSE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (3)
had the speed to get across them and take control here on Thursday and with a steady time of it in front was collared in the closing strides by THE CROM who was swooping from back in the pack. He can look to fight them off to claim the prize.

TEACHERS PET (4) was sent to sit parked over the Redcliffe 1780m two starts back and despite the tough trip proved too strong to fight them off for a half-neck margin. Not much went her way last time out off the back of a freshen and with better luck she can throw it down here.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (1) settled in the running line here last time out but could not go on with it as DARBY BRIGHTS proved too strong. With the chance of a cosy trip behind the speed she can feature.

WEDDING NIGHT (6) features in a stable change to join the Ricky Gordon barn and maps for the economical trip. If the gaps open, she can fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (3), TEACHERS PET (4), VALKYRIE HANOVER (1), WEDDING NIGHT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (3) to win

RACE FOUR

BULLDOG BRAWLER (1)
will be on the back-up from this track on Friday where he had drawn this same gate and looked a solid chance of turning his fortunes around. Tough gates have hampered him of late and the chance for two wins in three days looks achievable.

STUDLEIGH MARK (4) is also on the Friday back-up from a race where he looked to be facing a task from the second line. Not too far from ULAANBAATAR two starts back, he gets the chance to press forward and close to the action can look to make a challenge.

NOT THE KINGSWOOD (2) lands his best gate for the season with his numbers reflecting the tough alleys he has been faced with. With a previous win on this track, he can make a play.

IMA BEACH BABE (5) has placed at her past two starts, the latest here last week when wide off the track and leading them up three wide to be just 3m from the winner. The gate stings her chances.

SELECTIONS: BULLDOG BRAWLER (1), STUDLEIGH MARK (4), NOT THE KINGSWOOD (2), IMA BEACH BABE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BULLDOG BRAWLER (1) to win

RACE FIVE

GOALKICKER (4) continued to force the issue here on Thursday and eventually worked her way to the front. Controlling the tempo, she was able to fight off the challenge and claim her fourth win on this track. Despite moving one gate wider, she can look for a repeat performance.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (1) was left exposed in the early stages until receiving the 1x1 trail. With an even tempo out in front, he could not finish it off when finishing 11m from GOALKICKER. The improved gate can see him look to give some cheek.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (7) eased from gate 3 to find the running line over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start before picking up some nice ground in the closing stages behind FLO RYDA. He can look to chime in.

MISS MIA (2) is like many on the card on the back-up and from this gate should be handy to the action. Wide off the track two starts back behind MAGICOL IDEAL, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (4), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (1), BEEF CITY BLAZE (7), MISS MIA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (4) to win

RACE SIX

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (1)
will take added benefit from his run here on Thursday where he was faced with gate 5 and after pressing forward to sit exposed early soon received the 1x1 trail. Grabbing the bronze two starts back, he comes up with the gate to look for an all the way effort.

TULHURST LOVER (3) was a strong Redcliffe winner two starts back when pressing on from gate 5 to sit parked and despite the tough trip proved too strong in a narrow victory. Fading out last start after a similar trip, she can be close enough to throw down a challenge.

FORGIVE ME (6) was wide off the track here last time out and owned superior closing power to cruise past and claim a 6m margin. The inside gate makes it tricky for the repeat.

STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM (2) started from inside the second line last start and never saw open space when holding on for the silver. Settling handy can see him find the podium.

SELECTIONS: SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (1), TULHURST LOVER (3), FORGIVE ME (6), STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

JACKBKWIK (8)
sat back in the pack from gate 9 here on Thursday and with a solid tempo set in front, was driven patiently. Coming with one closing challenge over the last 500m, he owned superior finishing power to arrive. With a similar set up, he can look to repeat the outcome.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (2) continued to press forward and with two laps to travel was outside the leader and throwing it down thereafter. Fighting hard, he loomed up only to be collared in the last strides by JACKBKWIK. He can get to the front here and look to fight off the same challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (3) settled in the running line last start at Redcliffe and was not too far from the winner PACIFIC COIN when finishing midfield. Placed his previous two, he can feature again from this alley.

JOY MAKER (1) was shooting for a hat-trick of wins here last time out when copping gate 5 and after doing some early work was unable to go on with it. With the gate improvement, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: JACKBKWIK (8), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (2), CIRCLE LINE (3), JOY MAKER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JACKBKWIK (8) to win
