RACE TWO

TIMENPATIENCE (1)
showed some early hustle from gate 3 last start before receiving 1x1 cover. Looming up to make a challenge, she hit the front in the stretch only to be collared in the last stride. Fitter again after two runs back from a let up, she comes up with the options to look to capitalise.

SHEZ GOT BLING (5) looks nicely placed here in a drop in grade and the wide gate can be offset by the small field. Not too far from the winner ROSIE ROCKS last start in a mare’s qualifier, she was strong to the line behind BLUE IVY the start prior. Look for her making the closing play.

AFTER DARN (7) made the most of the gate two starts back to turn her form around and take them all the way. Unable to go on with it last start behind MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO, the cosy trip will help.

SELECTIONS: TIMENPATIENCE (1), SHEZ GOT BLING (5), AFTER DARN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TIMENPATIENCE (1) to win

RACE THREE

BARBOO (7)
will hinge his chances on the 1 looking to take them all the way and then if the passing lane arrives with momentum can be ready to take his shot. Not suited at the AP 2138m last start when fading, he was asked to grind it out when parked the start prior. He can be ready to snipe.

PACIFIC COIN (4) was sharper last start and was able to grab the silver behind VERMONT. Buried in the run the start prior after angling to the poles from gate 9, he can look to get forward from the front line gate here and settling handy to the action can throw down the challenge.

MELTON INSULTED (1) was sent to the post as the favourite last start and setting the speed from gate 2 was unable to see it out when the gas tank hit empty at the top of the stretch. From the gate she has the options to feature.

LA PISTOLA (8) grabbed 3rd behind TACTFILLY MIRACLE here last start which had followed a tough trip when working triple time. With the chance to dart down to the poles, he can be probing.

SELECTIONS: BARBOO (7), PACIFIC COIN (4), MELTON INSULTED (1), LA PISTOLA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BARBOO (7) to win

RACE FOUR

IM A CLASSY GIRL (9)
eased from gate 6 last start to sit at the rear over the 1780m trip. Making a wide trip over the closing stages, she was strong to the line to grab the silver behind the dictating winner ROCK WITH ZARA. Placed in four of seven this season, she can arrive over the top of them.

INDY JEWEL (5) was sent to the post as the race favourite from gate 9 last start but was unable to hit the top-three. Settled back in the pack, she did not get warm over the closing stages in finishing midfield. Holding 3rd to TIMS A TROOPER the start prior, she can challenge despite the wide gate.

MELTON KILLARA (8) was eased from gate 5 last start to find the poles and hemmed away never got a chance to get into the contest. Runner-up three starts back when leading, she is a podium hope.

AUNTY FRANCES (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage as she looks set to be buried in the run. Placed in five of eight this term, she grabbed 3rd last start and will be probing for the space.

SELECTIONS: IM A CLASSY GIRL (9), INDY JEWEL (5), MELTON KILLARA (8), AUNTY FRANCES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: IM A CLASSY GIRL (9) to win

RACE FIVE

WILD ABOUT TOWN (2) has not been well served from some tough gates in recent starts, the latest here when drawn wide. Snagged back to look for luck, he never warmed up as JACKEROO SHANNON took the prize. With early hustle from this gate, he can look for the front and give them the target.

ELLE JAY (1) returns from a spell and lands the ideal gate fresh up with the opportunity to secure a cosy trip in behind the speed. Shut down after a pair of sub-par performances, three starts back over this trip she held on for 3rd behind STUDLEIGH WILL with the ideal gate a big help fresh up.

MOLLIDOR (7) found the front prior to releasing for the trial last time out when holding on for the bronze behind JOHNROD. Taking them all the way four starts back, she can look for the gaps to offer.

DUKE (4) eased from this gate last start and was back in the pack when finishing midfield to DATSINAHURRI. Doing some early work the start prior, he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (2), ELLE JAY (1), MOLLIDOR (7), DUKE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7

RACE SIX

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1)
eased from gate 6 last start to settle back in the pack before making up strong ground over the closing stages to garb 4th. Three starts back from gate 1 he settled in the pocket trail when finishing just 4m from the subsequent winner IT AINT THE MONEY. Back to The Triangle from the good gate give him every chance.

THE HERVEY BAY (3) pressed ahead from outside the front line over the AP mile two starts back and had to do the heavy lifting outside the leader. Grafting to the line, he held the silver behind ZHUKOV LEIS. Not suited from inside the second line last time, he can roll the sleeves to throw it down.

JUST JOSHIN (2) made a closing challenge to get within a half-neck of the winner RIVERLEIGH ROCKET last start after easing from gate 5 to find position. From the alley he can feature.

STUN GUN (6) was first up in Qld last start when making the most of gate 1 to take them all the way. With added fitness from the outing, he is jammed up by the tough gate for this battle.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1), THE HERVEY BAY (3), JUST JOSHIN (2), STUN GUN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISS MIA (1)
was a passing lane winner over the AP 2138m trip five starts back when securing the position in behind the speed. Ince that victory not much has really gone the way of the mare, her latest appearance when buried in the run from gate 3. Stalking the speed, the snipers shot can hit.

STUDLEIGH WILL (3) has been racing in a rich vein of form with three wins and a minor in his past four outings. Taking them all the way last start, he was able to fight off the challengers when dictating to claim a neck margin. From the gate he can look to see it out.

ARNOLD STREET (9) started from gate 1 here last week and was trying to take them all the way but was gunned down over the 2040m in the latter stages. The gate stings but the return to the sprint trip helps.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8) speared out from gate 5 last start to find the front over the 2040m trip but from the front could not see it out. 2m away the start prior, she can make a closing play here.

SELECTIONS: MISS MIA (1), STUDLEIGH WILL (3), ARNOLD STREET (9), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MIA (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROCKNROLL DUDE (4)
eased to the poles from gate 9 last start over this trip and was hemmed away in the run. Taking a closing shot via the passing lane, it was a tidy return when just 4m from the winner. Runner-up to the flying THE DARLING here three back, he can look to pinch this.

MISTY CREEK (6) faces another tough gate and must step up in grade here but is a classy 3YO. Finishing top-two at his past four in succession, he was too strong when parked over this trip last start. Limiting the workload will be a big aid in his challenging chances.

BONNIES CAM (7) will be searching for a rub of the green at some stage as he looks set to be locked away. Placed at his past two, of the gaps arrive with track to work with, he can podium again.

BEAST MODE (5) held the 1x1 trail from the second line last start and then owned the best closing speed to arrive with a 2m margin. With the confidence from that win, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DUDE (4), MISTY CREEK (6), BONNIES CAM (7), BEAST MODE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DUDE (4) to win
