RACE TWO

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2) was beaten by gate 6 last time out when easing to the rear and then not receiving the smoothest passage in sneaking into 3rd placing. A winner here four starts back from the running line, she has early speed if required and looks to have found suitable conditions.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (6) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when picking off some late metres to grab the bronze behind MOTU AMETHYST. Taking a shot up the passing lane two starts back when a head from the flying MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO, he can make a late play to challenge.

BETTOR MEMORIES (1) will be fresh since her last outing in a mare’s qualifier when chasing home behind ROSIE ROCKS. Grabbing the bronze here three starts back, she will be probing for a gap.

KAY NORA SHANNON (3) was forced to work hard wide off the track last start at Marburg which followed a luckless effort when bailed away at the same venue. With even luck she can feature.

SELECTIONS: TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (6), BETTOR MEMORIES (1), KAY NORA SHANNON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2) to win

RACE THREE

WHATELEY (3)
started form gate 5 last start when eased in the early stages and from back in the pack was unable to work into the contest. Overcoming the outside front line here four starts back when powering up in the closing stages, he looks to have found the right set up for another win.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (9) was a winner here three starts back when settled on the poles in the run before finishing off smartly to claim victory. He met a tougher line up last start where SAGINAW arrived and despite a tricky gate, he can be making a late challenge.

CALL ME DIVA (5) resumes from a spell to kick off her 4YO season after her last appearance was over the AP 2138m back in October. From the wide gate she will take improvement from the outing.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (1) has faced second line barriers at Marburg at her past two starts and should appreciate a return to a tight front-line alley. With the options she can feature.

SELECTIONS: WHATELEY (3), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (9), CALL ME DIVA (5), GROOVY MISS ANNIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATELEY (3) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCKNROLL DUDE (7)
started from the second line last start and was angled to the poles to look for the short cuts when finishing 8m from the winner TINGE OF FEAR at Marburg. Just 4m away two starts back over the 2040m, he has the second line options to capitalise.

CALVERT HOT SHOT (3) was a winner over the AP mile four starts back when powering over the top of them in the closing stages to claim a 4m margin. Well covered two starts back behind the huge winner DANGERZONE, back to this level of assignment looks suitable for him to challenge.

ONE LAST ROLL (6) is given no favours from out there but is going well enough to feature in this line up. Just 5m away last start at Marburg after retreating early, he is in the mix.

TRACER BULLET (1) ended last season and started this season with five successive victories but has been out of the money his past eight. Kept fresh, the gate gives him the chance to be sharper.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DUDE (7), CALVERT HOT SHOT (3), ONE LAST ROLL (6), TRACER BULLET (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DUDE (7) to win

RACE FIVE

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2) was hemmed away on the poles last start and was taking inside runs when grabbing 3rd behind the dictating VIC HUNTER. At her best when able to find the front, she looks set to grab that position in this contest and gets a chance to take them all the way.

LA BELLE CHEVAL (8) was runner-up here on Wednesday night after easing from gate 6 before hitting the line in nice order wide off the track. Taking further benefit out of the run, she continues to improve and with the right trail through in the early stages here can throw it down.

ELLE JAY (6) is on the back-up from Friday at Marburg where she looked a strong chance from gate 1. Slammed with the outside here, she can get forward to feature.

AURORA ROSE (1) started from the pole at Marburg last time out and after taking the trail was able to hold on for the bronze. With another cosy trip on offer, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2), LA BELLE CHEVAL (8), ELLE JAY (6), AURORA ROSE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2) to win

RACE SIX

BARBOO (3)
had a shot for the front last start and when repelled was obliged to cut the breeze which did not suit, and he subsequently faded under the toll. The 2138m was his undoing the start prior and if able to get across to find the front cheaply, will get his chance to cash-in.

CIRCLE LINE (2) has been thereabouts of late before his most recent run at Marburg where it just did not pan out and he was wide for a long way. Finding the line in nice order two starts back when 7m from PACIFIC COIN, he can settle close to the action from this alley to make a challenge.

LAZY BLAZE (5) was last seen over three weeks back when sent to sit parked from gate 4. Buried in the run from gate 1 the start prior which was off a four-week gap, he should benefit from his achievements in this.

ROLLONX (7) chased home to be midfield behind PACIFIC COIN at Marburg last start which followed a down the line effort here where circumstances did not help his cause. The second line options can be of benefit here.

SELECTIONS: BARBOO (3), CIRCLE LINE (2), LAZY BLAZE (5), ROLLONX (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

SUNDOWNER SHANNON (2)
has not had much luck landing a marble in recent starts so should relish the opportunity to be drawn in tight here. Sent forward from the second line to sit parked last start at Marburg, the effort was sound and with the chance to fire some early bullets can capitalise.

TEACHERS PET (4) was a winner here three starts back when sent to the breeze from this same gate and grafting it out was able to claim a determined victory. Her past two have been at Marburg where not much has really been in her favour and she can throw down the challenge here.

AROONA (5) slid into the 1x1 trail here on Tuesday over the sprint trip and when produced was able to loom up and pull clear to claim an 8m margin. The gate is a little sticky, but he is in the mix.

SONNY ORLANDO (7) was runner-up over the AP mile two starts back when forced to sit parked and holding off all bar MOONLIGHT BUTCHER. With the economical trip, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: SUNDOWNER SHANNON (2), TEACHERS PET (4), AROONA (5), SONNY ORLANDO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNDOWNER SHANNON (2) to win
