RACE TWO

Fitter again from his latest start when second up in Qld, CANT BLUFF YOU (3) caught the eye last start and looks to have found a winnable contest here. Beaten by gate 6 on this track last start when snagging to the rear, there was a bit to like in how he finished it off and he can capitalise.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (7) started from this gate last start and was angled away from the pegs early and continued to press on and was soon in front. Dictating once in control, she was never in danger claiming a 16m margin to break the maiden status. With the options she looms large.

DIEGO DELGADO (2) will appreciate a return to the front line after his pas three have all been from the second row. Striking trouble two starts back, he can put the heat on early in this.

ZARAS A TREASURE (1) resumes from a spell to start her 3YO term after a 2YO season that returned a win and four minors in seven starts. Opening the pipes in a recent trial, the gate helps fresh.

SELECTIONS: CANT BLUFF YOU (3), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (7), DIEGO DELGADO (2), ZARAS A TREASURE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CANT BLUFF YOU (3) to win

RACE THREE

With just one start since arriving in Qld KAR MANOR (5) was sent out as the favourite in that event and when looming into the contest, threw it away with a gait break. Back to the trials, he was sharp in that hit out in a time that would have broken the track record. He can atone here.

MIKEMARO (7) started off the 30m tape here last week at his first outing on The Triangle and made a starting error that ended his day before it ever really got underway. Claiming a heat of the McNeil Series the start prior, he is winless in 14 attempts from the mobile but can look to change that.

JACKKA WATCH (4) was sent forward to sit parked last start and was grinding away in finishing 5m from the winner. His only victory is from the mobile and he has podium claims here.

KAPAI (8) is also without a win in a dozen runs from the mobile start, however he has been able to place in 7 of those. 7m from the winner last start, he will be chiming into the action here.

SELECTIONS: KAR MANOR (5), MIKEMARO (7), JACKKA WATCH (4), KAPAI (8)
SUGGESTED BET: KAR MANOR (5) to win

RACE FOUR

Beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating in the early stages, AWAYWEGO (5) might have found the right opportunity to open his 3YO account following placings in his four attempts thus far. Best of the chasers behind DANGERZONE last time, he has a fitness edge over his main dangers.

SPEAK THE TRUTH (1) returns from a spell after his last appearance came when runner-up to AWAYWEGO back in July in the Triad Final. Missing the board just once in 6 starts during his 2YO term, he has trialled in nice order in readiness and comes up with the gate to challenge fresh.

SOHO CASABLANCA (2) is also resuming for his 3YO term after claiming three wins in his rookie year including an all the way effort over the AP mile against older horses. He stays under notice.

GOTTA GO MILKING (4) is a three-time winner on this track and was runner-up to his handy stablemate ALTA REVLERY here last start. Fitter from that run where he was resuming, he can place.

SELECTIONS: AWAYWEGO (5), SPEAK THE TRUTH (1), SOHO CASABLANCA (2), GOTTA GO MILKING (4)
SUGGESTED BET: AWAYWEGO (5) to win

RACE FIVE

Shooting for a hat-trick of victories here at Redcliffe, SAGINAW (6) meets three of the same opponents he defeated last week in the small field. Allowed plenty of time to balance up in facing the breeze, he pulled clear for an effortless victory. With plenty of power, he can threepeat.

WHATTA GOOD REASON (2) sat in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line and tried in vain to reel in SAGINAW when best of the chasers to be 5.5m away. Runner-up in three of his past four starts, he can be close to the action to again try to mount a closing challenge.

CATCH PHRASE (1) was stuck searching for position last start when finishing midfield behind SAGINAW. A three-time winner on this track, she comes up with the alley to feature.

ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (7) resumes from a spell and will be taking his first look at this track. A strong winner from gate 6 over the AP mile three starts back, he has the second line options to feature.

SELECTIONS: SAGINAW (6), WHATTA GOOD REASON (2), CATCH PHRASE (1), ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

A winner here last start when resuming from a spell and proving too slippery out in front, ALTA REVELRY (7) will be requiring some factors in his favour from this tricky barrier. A winner in three of his four career starts to date, the only danger to adding another win here appears to be open space.

ULAANBAATAR (1) was beaten by gate 6 here last start when retreating to the rear and against the tempo was still able to find the line in nice order to be 5m from the winner. A similar margin in arrears the start prior in s second division mare’s qualifier, she has the gate to challenge.

MOTU AMETHYST (4) settled in the running line from gate 8 here last week and was able to finish best of her rivals to claim victory. The wider gate dents the hopes of a repeat.

SHE OWNS THE DAY (6) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when trying to take them all the way, but SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE proved too classy. It will be an ask from gate 6.

SELECTIONS: ALTA REVELRY (7), ULAANBAATAR (1), MOTU AMETHYST (4), SHE OWNS THE DAY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALTA REVELRY (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

KEAYANG MARVEN (5)
faces this same alley for the third successive time here at Redcliffe and should find this no harder than his last start victory. The effort two starts back was full of merit when not much went right including locking wheels when needing momentum. He can arrive again.

GOODBOY COWBOY (8) eased from gate 5 here last start before being sent forward to sit parked. In for the fight, he was game in grafting out a 3rd placing to be 4m from the winner ROCK BOTTOM. Beaten by the tempo the start prior when unable to secure position, he can make a play here.

MAJORDOIT (3) was wide off the track from outside the front line at Marburg last start in a tidy effort to be 7m from OUR UNCLE JIM. Strong to the line the start prior, he is in the mix.

DIKERRY (2) eased to the fence from gate 4 last start and from the fence was trying to pick up some late metres when 5m from the winner. Still searching for a Qld victory, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG MARVEN (5), GOODBOY COWBOY (8), MAJORDOIT (3), DIKERRY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG MARVEN (5) to win
