Racing Queensland (RQ) advises that all participant vehicle parking for race meetings at Ipswich, until further notice, will be external to the Showgrounds in Parker Avenue.
Traffic controllers will be stationed in Parker Avenue on the southern side of the Ipswich Showgrounds and will direct parking for the entire duration of each race meeting.
Participants are required to adhere to the instructions provided by the traffic controllers.
The designated parking is in close proximity to the emptying areas which will be able to be accessed from the Parker Avenue footpath.
The parking restrictions are a condition of approval to race at the Ipswich Showgrounds as it continues to operate as an evacuation centre.
Participants are again reminded that, until further notice, attendance at Ipswich race meetings is restricted to essential racing personnel connected to greyhounds engaged at the race meetings. Normal food services will be available but bar service will be restricted to non-alcoholic beverages.
