RACE TWO

SO KOOL MASTER (1) kicked up to hold the front here last week over the mile which isn’t really his preferred Lipton. Setting a sharp tempo, his race was run as they swung for home. A passing lane winner at Redcliffe the start prior, he is best when saved for the snipers shot. He can do that here.

SAM IS PERFECTION (8) is in great form with 2 wins and 2 minors in his past 4 appearances. Snagged back from gate 6 last start over the 2138m, his closing splits were smart when charging home to get within a half-neck of the winner. He looks to be buried here, but with the cosy trip will be probing.

LETTUCEFIRESTAR (3) was after a hat-trick of wins last start when setting a good tempo in front and only collared near the line when beaten a head. With early speed he can look to fight them off.

JUMPING JOLT (2) kicked up to hold the breeze last start over the 2138m and paid the price for the tough trip when fading to last. Swooping late the start prior when beaten a head, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SO KOOL MASTER (1), SAM IS PERFECTION (8), LETTUCEFIRESTAR (3), JUMPING JOLT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SO KOOL MASTER (1) to win

RACE THREE

STOMPEM (1) went to the front last start over the 2138m trip, setting a steady tempo throughout only to be nabbed in the closing stages, holding on for the bronze. Doing some early work here 2 starts back when mid-field, he has the chance for an easy trip and make the closing shot a winner.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (5) has found the right conditions at his past 2 starts to bounce back into form and lines-up here for a hat-trick of victories. Leading throughout in each, he just managed to hold on last start with an eyelash margin enough to score. He will fire out and be gripping on.

NEWMERELLA SHARKE (4) was content to face the breeze last start sitting outside SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE which isn’t his best pattern. Yet he was in for the fight in only narrowly missing. Placed in 4 of his past 5, he can feature again.

RED CHARMER (8) sat in the pocket trail last start and with the easy ride had the bullets to fire in the stretch to score a passing lane victory. With another cosy trip, she will be probing the gaps here.

SELECTIONS: STOMPEM (1), SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (5), NEWMERELLA SHARKE (4), RED CHARMER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-5-8

RACE FOUR

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (1)
has been desperate to land a marble and it finally fell in his favour landing the inside alley. Having an early look from gate 5 last time he eased to the 1x1 trail to then finish mid-field. Beaten by gate 7 at his previous 2 starts, he looks to get his chance to breakthrough.

JILLIBY GIZMO (8) rolled the sleeves to do the work here on Tues when facing the breeze outside of the hot fav VIRGIL. With a steady opening half, he was in for the fight, only losing ground when the closing sprint went on. From this gate, he can be coiled and ready to strike when the gap appears.

HEZA BROMAC (4) has struggled to recapture his best, however his latest start returned some encouraging signs. Eased from gate 7 to the pegs, he found the line in good order and can be sharper again here.

HAVANA MOON (3) didn’t have much go his way when closing late for an 8m margin at Redcliffe 2 starts back. Franking that with a win on Wed night when finishing over the top, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (1), JILLIBY GIZMO (8), HEZA BROMAC (4), HAVANA MOON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HEZA BROMAC (4) place

RACE FIVE

CONVAIR HUSTLER (5)
will take good benefit from his return to the track here last week when 1st up following 6 months off the scene. Buried in the run from inside the 2nd line, he was back in the pack when making good ground late behind the dictating FEELINGFORAMIRACLE. With no trial leading in to that run, he strikes a winnable contest here 2nd up.

BURMACH (2) heads to town after racing at Redcliffe his past few. Setting the tempo over the sprint trip there 2 runs back, he had the power on throughout when grabbed late, 4m from the winner. Closing out strongly last start when locked away on the pegs, he can give some cheek here.

ULTIMATE AD (3) took on the 2138m from gate 7 here last start when eased back to find position. Closing out strongly, he went within a pimple of landing the prize. With the improved gate, he is right in the fight.

MISTER BLACKJACK (9) hit the line strongly here 2 starts back when finishing a neck from subsequent winner FEEL THE REIGN. With the right early trail, he can offer in the stretch here.

SELECTIONS: CONVAIR HUSTLER (5), BURMACH (2), ULTIMATE AD (3), MISTER BLACKJACK (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

CHERRYS THE BEST (6) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after wins at the mile and then the 2138m in these same mares events at her past 2 outings. Packing too much power to arrive in the closing strides last start, it followed a career PB rating over the mile. The gate hurts, but she can arrive.

BALLERINA COURU (8) will take benefit from her latest offering when resuming from a spell. Looking for position from gate 4, she was eased back and then the tempo up front made it tough for her to work into the contest. With an easy trip on offer, she will be probing for gaps to issue a challenge.

ETERNAL PROMISE (5) is in great touch with wins at 5 of her past 6, the past 3 in succession. Pressing on to take control form this gate last start, she held them off to score by 2m. Kept fresh since that run, she is right in the mix.

MACEY JAYDE (10) was up to her old tricks last start, making an early error and has been banished to the outside as a result. Game in defeat when a half-head from CHERRYS THE BEST 2 starts back, she can be thereabouts in a strong and competitive mares event.

SELECTIONS: CHERRYS THE BEST (6), BALLERINA COURU (8), ETERNAL PROMISE (5), MACEY JAYDE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: CHERRYS THE BEST (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

OUR DELIGHT (5) had a look form gate 7 last start, but with no lead on offer was forced to ease into the running line, the early burn leaving her with limited power for the finish. Only 2m from the winner 2 starts back when 2nd, it followed a 2nd behind MISS MONEYBAGS. With wide gates her past 3, the improved gate is a big plus and she gets every chance.

ZARAS DANCE (2) had to do it the tough way last start, working forward to face the breeze. Fighting hard to finish mid-field behind the winner GODDESS JUJON, it followed a tidy effort when working home in good order to be 3m from the winner SPECIAL RESERVE. She can throw down the challenge.

MACH TORQUE (9) pressed forward over the Redcliffe 1780m last start from wide off the track, taking control and then keeping a solid tempo in scoring. The gate hurts, yet she can chime in here.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (10) was a big winner when returning from a freshen at Redcliffe 2 starts back, grinding out a stylish victory. Taken back last start when joining in late for 3rd, she can place again.

SELECTIONS: OUR DELIGHT (5), ZARAS DANCE (2), MACH TORQUE (9), SAINT KILDA BEACH (10)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR DELIGHT (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

JEWEL OF PEAK (10) made the most of gate 1 in her heat win of this series, settling in front through the 1st 800m and then dialling it up to run a smart 57.4 for the last 800m around the tight Marburg circuit. Taking them all the way the start prior at Redcliffe, she is in form and with some pressure up front can arrive for the prize.

IMA REGAL JET (1) claimed his heat victory from gate 4, easing back in the early stages to find running line position. Making a sweeping play, he cruised home to score a comfortable 6m victory. Placed in 2 runs prior to that from 2nd line gates, he can secure the right trip to make a play for the prize.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH (2) won his heat when leading throughout from gate 1, ending a long winless streak. Buried in the run 2 starts back, he can fire the 1st shot here and with the winning confidence has claims.

CHROMOZONE (9) speared out from gate 3 to take control at Redcliffe 2 starts back and kept the power on to score an easy 15m victory. Runner-up to NIFTY STUDLEIGH in the het, she can get the right early trail to chime in.

SELECTIONS: JEWEL OF PEAK (10), IMA REGAL JET (1), NIFTY STUDLEIGH (2), CHROMOZONE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JEWEL OF PEAK (10) to win

RACE NINE

SPEECH IS SILVER (10) made an error as they were released last start, looking to end his chances and put out of business. Catching the pack, it was a huge run to grab the silver and only go under a half-head. A brilliant winner of his previous 3 in succession, he can atone for the last start error.

CAUTIVAR (4) continued his impressive record in Qld last start, stepping it up against some strong combatants and coming away with the bronze in the race claimed by GOVERNOR JUJON. A winner at his previous 3 starts, he can have the measure of the others, but maybe not quite the fav.

COMMODORE JUJON (1) started fav from the 2nd line last start when settling in the running line and making a closing play to get within 2m of the winner. Placed in 3 of his past 4, with the trip from this gate, another placing looks achievable.

COOL SCOOTER (3) went to the front over the sprint trip last start and looked to have them covered, only to be nabbed on the line up the passing lane by FEEL THE REIGN. He will be gripping on again.

SELECTIONS: SPEECH IS SILVER (10), CAUTIVAR (4), COMMODORE JUJON (1), COOL SCOOTER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi 10 / 4 / 1-2-3-8

RACE TEN

SIR FAHRENHEIT (1) hasn’t missed a cheque in 3 outings since joining the Donny Smith barn from the Shaky Isles, the past 2, resulting in stylish victories. Beaten 2m when 1st up, he followed that with a track record breaking run over the 2647m SS. Stepping cleanly, he looks mighty hard to stop.

JEDDY R YA READY (2) was a winner over SIR FAHRENHIET 3 starts back when finishing over the top from the 10m tape to score a nice win. Runner-up in both outings since that win, the latest when stepping to the front before opting for the trail. With his manners from this tape, he looms as the main threat.

GARLAND GREENE (4) did it the tough way over this trip 2 starts back when sent to the breeze from his 10m tape and fighting hard to the line for 3rd behind WEE MAN TROUBLE. Put out of play here on Tues in a scrimmage, he is a podium hope.

FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (6) stuck to the pegs for the shortest way home last start and wasn’t too far from the winner MAJESTIC SIMON. Runner-up under mobile conditions 3 starts back, he is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: SIR FAHRENHEIT (1), JEDDY R YA READY (2), GARLAND GREENE (4), FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR FAHRENHEIT (1) to win
