RACE TWO

BOMBADIER JUJON (6) had the perfect trip last start when tucking in behind the speed from gate 1 in the pocket trail and then having the closing speed to arrive for the prize. Best of the chasers behind the smart pair of WILL THE WIZARD and BLACKSADANCE the start prior, the gate is not ideal here but there looks enough speed for him to swoop.

OUR BONDI BEACH (1) might not have the greatest numbers next to his name but in his past few starts there are certainly some excuses that can be entertained. He did not get a crack at them last start and 2 runs back was not suited from the gate over the longer trip. He loves the passing lane and this shapes to suit.

STREET APPEAL (10) was a 1st up winner when resuming over the mile here 3 starts back and has been runner-up at both starts since that win. He will need to chase here but cannot be ignored.

MACH LE MORE (2) was a winner in qualifying company 4 starts back after enjoying a nice run in behind the action before finishing over the top. Not much has gone his way since and he can be closer here.

SELECTIONS: BOMBADIER JUJON (6), OUR BONDI BEACH (1), STREET APPEAL (10), MACH LE MORE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

DATITUDE (2)
can be forgiven for his last start where he drew the widest gate in a Trot Rods scamper. Looking to his run 2 starts back, he was finding the line in nice order over this trip after settling in a rearward position from gate 10. Settling closer to the action, he can sneak away with this.

GLENLEDI BOY (9) makes his 1st appearance in Qld after heading North to join the Melissa Gillies barn. He found the line in nice order at his last start at Melton back in March and has opened the pipes in readiness for this with a nice hit out on this track when closing smartly. He can challenge.

HELD TO RANSOM (3) was asked to do some work last start and was unable to cope when fading out as KATAMACH controlled the action. Not too far from the in-form MIGHTY FLYING ART at Menangle 2 starts back, she is in the mix.

SOHO TSUNAMI (1) resumes from a spell after being sent for a break after winning a qualifier over this trip last time out. Taking the trail from this gate in that contest, he can get a cosy trip to suit fresh.

SELECTIONS: DATITUDE (2), GLENLEDI BOY (9), HELD TO RANSOM (3), SOHO TSUNAMI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-9

RACE FOUR

YUKO (9)
started from gate 1 last start when beaten for early speed but holding on to claim the bronze when 5m in arrears of the winner DELIGHTFUL MAJOR. Not much went her way the start prior from the 2nd line at Penrith and with the right early trail here, can look to arrive for the prize.

BRAEBEACH (2) takes his 1st look at The Creek after his 3 career starts that have returned 2 wins have all been on The Triangle. Firing out to take control last start, he was able to see it out, running home a sharp 27.8 closing panel. This is a rise in class, but he looks progressive enough to challenge.

THE ROCKNROLL KING (1) will make his 1st appearance in Qld off the back of a spell, last seen in March in the South of NZ. Arriving a six-time winner, he returned a tidy preparatory trial and stays under a big watch from this gate.

HOT EMBERS (8) has been in nice touch, hitting the board his past 6 in succession, all at Redcliffe. Placed in just 2 of 8 here on the big oval, he is set for the perfect trip in behind the speed to chime in.

SELECTIONS: YUKO (9), BRAEBEACH (2), THE ROCKNROLL KING (1), HOT EMBERS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: YUKO (9) to win

RACE FIVE

NO DOUBT (8) was a Trot Rods Heat winner from 3 back along the poles 3 starts back, sprinting sharply to claim the prize. 2m away at his next outing, he was beaten that same margin last start when working hard in the breeze. Following a rolling leader here, he just needs momentum to the lane.

COURAGEOUS SAM (5) has been to the track twice this campaign with both runs full of merit. Last time out he was making solid ground in the closing stages and the start prior in the 3YO Triad Consolation was hitting the line nicely after starting from the 2nd row. Back to the mile should suit.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (1) loves to roll along in front and comes up with the perfect alley to set the tempo here. Not suited from back in the pack when chasing DANCE IN THE SUN last start, he will be gripping on.

ONLYSBEST (6) made the most of conditions last start when rifling off the arm to take control and lead them all the way to his 6th career win from just 12 starts. Fitter for the outing, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: NO DOUBT (8), COURAGEOUS SAM (5), LITTLELIONELJAMES (1), ONLYSBEST (6)
SUGGESTED BET: NO DOUBT (8) to win

RACE SIX

ANOTHER STATEMENT (3)
will take further benefit from his latest offering when 2nd up from a long break. Returning over the 2138m trip, it was a smart effort when 5m from the winner VIENNA BOY. Doing some early work to press forward from gate 7 when 2nd up, he finds conditions to strike here.

FLIGHT CREW (10) was making her 1st Aus appearance when tackling the 2138m here last week. An early error looked to have cost her all chance, but she chased gamely and was running up behind them over the closing stages to beat a few home. That was a real eye-catcher and a repeat of the run sans the error, will challenge.

THE RACONTEUR (5) faces a rise here as the winner of just 1 race in 6 starts, yet he has met some smart performers to date and last start contested a NSW Derby Heat. With a pipe opener at the Penrith trials, he is in the mix.

WHICH HUNT (8) looked to be in some bother last start, but she chased hard from a long way back and continued to give to the line in arriving for a tidy win. With an economical trip she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ANOTHER STATEMENT (3), FLIGHT CREW (10), THE RACONTEUR (5), WHICH HUNT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ANOTHER STATEMENT (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

FEELS LIKA BOSS (3)
tackled the 3YO Triad consolation 2 starts back when sent around them early from the 2nd line to get into the contest. In for the fight when 6m from the dictating winner DYNAMIC DAN, he was closing late for the silver last start at Redcliffe. Limiting the burn, he can take this.

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (4) was not suited last start over the 2138m trip and faded out in the latter stages. Not coping in the breeze the start prior, he was a strong winner here 3 starts back when able to find the front. With early bullets to fire, getting to the front look key to his challenging chances.

DOLLARBILL (7) has worked his way back into form and lines up here off a last start win at Marburg where he was sent forward from a wide gate and finding the front proved too strong. He might need to roll the sleeves here but is in for the fight.

RANCHO MAN (2) was a winner here 3 runs back when charging off the arm from gate 6 to lead. Controlling the tempo to score, he has not been too far away and with early hustle is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FEELS LIKA BOSS (3), MAYWYN TROUBADOR (4), DOLLARBILL (7), RANCHO MAN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELS LIKA BOSS (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (7)
has no favours from the wide gate, but she has been in nice touch in recent times. Hitting the line strongly 3 starts back to grab the silver over the Redcliffe sprint trip, she was a beaten fav at her next outing when swooping late but falling 6m short. Scoring at Marburg last start, she can look to go back-to-back.

MELTON LUCKY (1) had been having a hard time living up to his name with a string of runs where nothing was in his favour. 2 starts back here over this trip, he was able to get an even rub of the green and he arrived to claim victory. Gunned down in front last start, he has the gate to challenge here.

COBBLER LANE (6) could not find position last start at Marburg and then from a rearward position could not get into the battle. This is a shade or two easier than recent outings and he is in the mix.

BEEJAYS DELIGHT (5) has been thereabouts with placings in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when making late ground to grab the bronze at Redcliffe. A gritty 3rd here 3 runs back, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: BUTCHERFEELGOOD (7), MELTON LUCKY (1), COBBLER LANE (6), BEEJAYS DELIGHT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

PRINCESS FAITH (9) can do plenty wrong but when she does it right can be particularly good. Mammoth in defeat after an error 4 starts back, she got it right at her next start when trotting cleanly and proving too strong first over. Costly errors ended her chances at her next 2 starts. Caveat Emptor, but if she trots, she can win.

OKANAGAN (1) will look to take full advantage of the 20m gain he receives for his age he receives in this. Against his own age at his past 2 starts, he has been beaten a similar margin on each occasion in finishing 2nd in both. Grabbed by a swooping HURRIKANE SPIRIT last start, he will be gripping on.

DOWN UNDER RORS (11) has the big handicap to overcome, but he has been in nice form of late and backs up from Tues where he was not too far from the winner JANSSON. With even luck he can chime in.

SPIDERS DEVIL (10) will take further benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell. Placed at both return runs, he just took a while to wind up last start and chasing here might get him going.

SELECTIONS: PRINCESS FAITH (9), OKANAGAN (1), DOWN UNDER RORS (11), SPIDERS DEVIL (10)
SUGGESTED BET: PRINCESS FAITH (9) to win

RACE TEN

CHARMING CHARLOTTE (9) tackled the 3YO fillies Triad consolation last start when hemmed away against the poles from the 2nd line. Making a solid play in the closing stages, she found the line with gusto to be 3m from the passing lane winner PRINCESS CHILLA. This looks the right contest to open her account.

GLENLEDI COMMANDER (8) was required to work hard in the run here 2 starts back and despite racing first over was still in for the fight as FRANCO NATHAN arrived. Locked away on the poles last start, he will likely be looking for open space here and back to maiden company looks a big plus.

STEEVEN (4) settled down to duke it out with FAVREAU last start at Redcliffe down the stretch but could not land the winning blow in claiming silver. Settling closer in this can see him in the mix.

MULLUM FLO (5) is a 3YO filly on debut for Daren Garrard that returned a sound trial, beating home subsequent 2YO winner AWAYWEGO in that hit out. From the sticky gate, she stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: CHARMING CHARLOTTE (9), GLENLEDI COMMANDER (8), STEEVEN (4), MULLUM FLO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CHARMING CHARLOTTE (9) to win
