RACE ONE

RISKY BUZINESS (1) bounced back to winning form last start when doing it the tough way sitting parked over the Redcliffe sprint trip. A three-time winner on this deck, he lands the gate to use his early hustle and take them all the way.

BUKTHSYSTEM (7) will tighten from his last outing where he was returning from a spell. Buried from an inside second line gate to finish midfield, it was a tidy effort behind SHARP SHOOTER. With a record that shows 4 wins from 9 outings here at Marburg, he can throw it down.

NESTERS HILL (4) was resuming from a spell last time out when covering plenty of the track after retreating before being sent wide. He can be sharper second up.

NON PASSARE (2) had to deal with gate 5 here last start where he struck trouble and was retired from the race. Grabbing 3rd the start prior, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: RISKY BUZINESS (1), BUKTHSYSTEM (7), NESTERS HILL (4), NON PASSARE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: RISKY BUZINESS (1) to win

RACE TWO

JEWEL OF PEAK (2) loves this track where she is a six-time winner and loves to roll out in front. Taking them all the way at Redcliffe two starts back to take a mare’s qualifier, she couldn’t warm up in the closing stages last start. This is an easier line up and she has the alley to control it.

WHATA ROLLER (1) started from outside the second line over the AP mile last start over 2138m and was never in the hunt as CLASSIE WASHINGTON claimed the prize. Placed in 3 of his 4 starts on this track, he should secure the cosy trip and will be searching for the space to make a play.

LORIMER LADY (3) will be backing up from The Creek on Friday which followed successive placings, including a tough effort at Redcliffe when facing the breeze. From this gate she can feature again.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (7) was buried in the run after angling to the pegs from outside the second line last time out. Strong to the line for 2nd three starts back, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: JEWEL OF PEAK (2), WHATA ROLLER (1), LORIMER LADY (3), BEEF CITY BLAZE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JEWEL OF PEAK (2) to win

RACE THREE

DUKE (3)
started from inside the second line here two starts back and found the space to make a closing challenge and finish with the silver when under 2m from the in form ALWAYS AT NIGHT. Fading after doing it tough when parked last start, he can press on to control this.

LITTLEDEE (5) has no favours from the outside paint but remains in the calculations. Setting the speed from the ace last start, she was trying to fight them off when holding on for the silver and finishing 7m from the winner. Luckless the start prior, she can look to challenge.

KIMMIK (7) was returning from a break last time out when finding the pocket trail but finding them out of reach. Only 8m from the winner BEACH MAGIC two starts back, this looks more suitable.

JOY MAKER (8) finished a close 2nd on consecutive occasions before tackling a stronger race two starts back behind OFFICE BAD BOY. Striking trouble last start, she can bounce back into the money.

SELECTIONS: DUKE (3), LITTLEDEE (5), KIMMIK (7), JOY MAKER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DUKE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

GOELITZ (3)
tackled a qualifier last start when charging off the arm from gate 4 over the 2138m as he looked to take them all the way. In for the fight as he was only wore down in the closing stages to be 4m from the winner, he can press the issue here and from the front will take stopping.

MIGHTY GEORGE (7) franked some nice efforts when powering home over the top of them from gate 5 over the Redcliffe 1780m three starts back. Not suited last start when asked to sit parked and roll the sleeves, he can be looking to issue a closing challenge.

KANYE CRUSADER (4) was well covered last start behind ANOTHER STATEMENT which followed a tough run after being sent forward to sit parked. Runner-up three starts back, he can chime in.

B MAC C (6) has developed a stylish record here at Marburg where he is two from three. Hitting the line in smart order last start when just 4m from SAGINAW, he can find the podium.

SELECTIONS: GOELITZ (3), MIGHTY GEORGE (7), KANYE CRUSADER (4), B MAC C (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GOELITZ (3) to win

RACE SIX

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (5)
will need some factors in his favour from the outside gate and will need to break an eight start hoodoo on this track where he has yet to grab a win. Hitting the line in smart fashion for head margin in a Goldstrike Heat last start, he can pinch a tricky contest.

CIRCLE LINE (8) has been consistent in recent weeks and lines up here after finishing as the runner-up in four of his past six. Using the passing lane at The Creek last start to grab the silver behind TEACHERS PET, he can get the right position to throw down the challenge.

AURORA ROSE (2) was sent to the poles from outside the second line at Redcliffe two starts back and threaded a passage to arrive for the prize. With even luck she can be chiming in here.

WHATA CHALLENGE (9) found conditions to suit two starts back when finishing over the top of them in the stretch. 3rd last start when 7m from the winner, he can be looking to make a play.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (5), CIRCLE LINE (8), AURORA ROSE (2), WHATA CHALLENGE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

GRETELS GIRL (2)
backs up from her last start where he claimed her third career victory after finishing over the top of her opponents in the closing stages. That was at the 2040m trip and returning to the sprint trip looks an added bonus to her chances.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (3) was grafting it out last start when sent to the front and despite his efforts to fight them off, had to be content with 3rd when under 4m from the winner. Grabbed in the closing stages two starts back  when beaten 6m, he can be close enough to make the challenge.

STUDLEIGH MARK (1) has a tidy record on this deck that shows a win and 4 minors from 8 appearances. Runner-up here two start back from this same gate, he lands the options to feature.

RANCHO MAN (9) is a last start winner over the AP mile where he was able to secure the ideal trip in behind the speed before taking his shot when it opened. The extreme gate make sit tough.

SELECTIONS: GRETELS GIRL (2), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (3), STUDLEIGH MARK (1), RANCHO MAN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GRETELS GIRL (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

MELTON INSULTED (2)
was a winner here five starts back where he was able to take them all the way. Chasing home behind RANCHO MAN last start when 8m from the winner, she folded up the start prior in tougher company. 3 from 5 at this track, she has the gate to capitalise.

STUDLEIGH WILL (3)
was shut down following his most recent appearance in February and will line up here fresh. Using the most of gate 2 when dictating to an all the way win last start, he may not find the front here but can park up to grind it out if required.

BULLDOG BRAWLER (8) is yet to miss the money on this deck with his 8 starts netting two wins and six minors. Doing it the tough way when parked two starts back, he stays under notice for this battle.

COPY WRITER (9) was a Redcliffe winner four starts back when pulling wide over the closing stages to hit the line in nice order. Only 3m away three starts back, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MELTON INSULTED (2), STUDLEIGH WILL (3), BULLDOG BRAWLER (8), COPY WRITER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON INSULTED (2) to win
