RACE ONE

TINGE OF FEAR (1) started from gate 2 last start and was angled to the pegs but soon buried away in the wash up. Fading late after working hard when sitting parked in a mare’s qualifier two starts back, she lands all the options form this alley to capitalise.

GOLDEN LACE (2) was second up from a spell last time out when fired off the arm from gate 4 over the AP mile. With a sharp first panel, she secured a second stanza breather before again dialling it up to sub 28 down the back. Finishing 2m from FRANKIES TOOTH, she has the gate to challenge.

SIR BULSKI (3) should take some benefit from his first up run when tackling a Trot Rods Heat and scooting home along the passing lane to score. A six-time winner on this deck, he is in the mix.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8) was trying to weave a passage up the stretch last start when striking trouble and nearly hitting the ground. Grabbed late when trying to dictate the start prior, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: TINGE OF FEAR (1), GOLDEN LACE (2), SIR BULSKI (3), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-8

RACE TWO

BETTING BARON (4) started from gate 3 here on Thursday night where he was able to slide into the 1x1 trail. With the good run up near the speed, he was able to make the closing play a winning one. Grabbing 3rd the start prior. He can be near the action again to look for the repeat.

MI FURIOSO TORO (5) was taken off the arm here on Thursday night to settle near the rear of the pack. Saved for one run, he was strong to the line to grab the silver behind THE CASUAL GOOSE. At his best he is up to putting this field away, his consistency is the concern.

BUKTHSYSTEM (2) has now had three runs back from a spell, the latest effort where he was far from comfortable and settled near the rear. Runner-up two back, he can be sharper here.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (1) faced the outside second line last start where he was angled to the pegs to go in search of the short cuts. With the improved gate he can be closer to the action to feature.

SELECTIONS: BETTING BARON (4), MI FURIOSO TORO (5), BUKTHSYSTEM (2), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

ROCCO VARIETY (1)
is a last start winner from gate 6 where he was fired out of a cannon to find the front before the first turn and once in control took them all the way to post a 6m margin. Only beaten a head three starts back, the improved gate is a huge plus and he looks hard to stop.

LIMBO LARRY (5) is a NSW Central West veteran that makes his first Qld pilgrimage for the Betts family. His recent numbers are not the greatest reading, but he has been facing some tough gates in tougher battles than he will face here. With even luck in transit, he is up to the challenge.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (7) looks set to enjoy the ideal trip in behind the speed here with the economical trip allowing him to be ready to strike in the stretch.

CANNAN (8) grabbed a 2nd at Marburg three starts back and followed that with a 3rd in a Trot Rods heat. From this alley he will have early options to feature.

SELECTIONS: ROCCO VARIETY (1), LIMBO LARRY (5), FORTYFIVE ROCK (7), CANNAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCCO VARIETY (1) to win

RACE FOUR

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1)
was hemmed away on the poles on Thursday from inside the second line and taking inside run was able to grab the bronze. Runner-up in a Trot Rods two starts back, he will be fitter from his latest effort after four runs back from a break and lands the gate to cash-in.

LEFT IN THE WIND (8) fired out from gate 2 here last time out and from the front was trying to take them all the way. Collared in the closing stages, she was just a half-neck from the winner in a blanket finish. The gate is not ideal, but she is going well enough to throw down the challenge.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) was taken back from this gate last time out and was soon against the poles deep in the pack when trying to make a closing play. From the gate he is in the mix.

DARBY BRIGHTS (9) has placed in 3 of her past 4 starts, the latest when sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked and holding on for 3rd. With a cart into the contest she is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1), LEFT IN THE WIND (8), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3), DARBY BRIGHTS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

TULHURST LOVER (1) will relish the opportunity to get back to the front line after her past three have been from the second line. In the pocket trail last start, she could not get going which followed a handy 3rd over the AP mile. From the gate she gets her chance to capitalise.

PRIVATE JUJON (2) settled in the trail from inside the second line here two starts back and making a closing challenge was just a neck from the winner. Eased off the inside last start, he can look to be up near the action and be ready to issue a challenge.

GHOST GUM (5) has started from inside the second line at his past two outings, the latest when trying to make ground as the in-form REMEMBER EVE landed the win. The gate stings.

LA BELLE CHEVAL (7) was back in the pack against the poles here on Wednesday when trying to make closing ground. Settling much closer this time, she can be searching for the gaps to feature.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST LOVER (1), PRIVATE JUJON (2), GHOT GUM (5), LA BELLE CHEVAL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TULHURST LOVER (1),

RACE SIX

MISTY CREEK (2)
has a superb record here on The Triangle that includes a smart 3rd here four starts back when hitting the line smartly behind ROCKSLIDE. Following that with a gritty 2nd when sitting parked from gate 5, he can look to power up early and from the front will give them the target.

HE SAID SHE SAID (5) cops no favours from this alley but his last start from the pegline over the AP mile was tidy when chasing JACKS N JAZZ. Beaten the same margin the start prior behind AIR TIME after having the cosy trip behind the speed, back to this grade he can make a challenge.

BRAEBEACH (7) will be further tightened from his latest outing where he was third up from a break. A grafting 2nd when 2nd up after facing the breeze, he lands the second line options.

TRACER BULLET (1) is on the back-up from Friday night where he loomed as a rough podium chance. Not too faar away over the AP 2138m two starts back behind CLASSIE WASHINGTON, the gate helps.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (2), HE SAID SHE SAID (5), BRAEBEACH (7), TRACER BULLET (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTY CREEK (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

FEELGOOD EXPRESS (6)
made an immediate impact here in Qld when scoring a determined win after sitting parked and grafting out a narrow margin. The second line over the AP mile has stung at her past two starts and although she strikes the outside paint, she looks hard to stop.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5) should appreciate this level of contest after meeting some sightly tougher contests in recent outings. Striking trouble last start at Marburg and trailing the field, he was a beaten fav from gate 1 over the 2040m here two starts back. Despite the gate, he can throw it down.

MUSTANG DUDE (3) fired out from this same gate before taking a seat two starts back and was chasing for the bronze behind the in-form SCHOOBY. Asked to hang tough last start, he is a place hope.

IM A SHY GUY (9) will take some benefit from his latest outing when resuming from a spell at Dubbo. Down the line, he makes his first appearance on The Triangle and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: FEELGOOD EXPRESS (6), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5), MUSTANG DUDE (3), IM A SHY GUY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELGOOD EXPRESS (6) to win
