RACE ONE

CANT BLUFF YOU (2) started from gate 10 last start and from back in the pack was making a closing challenge. Looming strongly, he came up a head short of the prize as the flying CLASSIE WASHINGTON arrived for a threepeat. He finds the right conditions to capitalise.

SHADOW MINISTER (5) can fly the arm when asked and he might just have the early speed to burn them here and then try to see it out. A neck from the winner last start from the pocket trail, he was collared two starts back in the last strides when setting the speed.

R ELEVEN ART (1) was a passing lane winner over the AP mile two starts back when easing in behind the leader from gate 2 and then owning the best closing speed. He can strike if the tempo is too hot.

SELECTIONS: CANT BLUFF YOU (2), SHADOW MINISTER (5), R ELEVEN ART (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ANT BLUFF YOU (2) to win

RACE TWO

SMOOTH CASH (4) was banished to the trials last start after being set a mammoth task after attacking for the lead in a sizzling lead time over the 2138m trip. With a pair of slick hit outs to earn the return, he boasts strong numbers on this deck of 8: 3-3-0 and can force the issue to score.

MISSTREPO (1) is a four-time winner here on The Triangle, including at her last appearance when swooping home from outside the second line to score a narrow victory. This is one of the quickest front lines seen in this format and tucked in behind the speed could be the perfect spot to challenge.

ROCKNROLL TIMES (5) speared out from gate 3 last start over the AP mile and from the front was able to see it out with 6m to spare. Placed both starts prior, he can boast a hot lap challenge win at Bathurst over 1195m.

SELECTIONS: SMOOTH CASH (4), MISSTREPO (1), ROCKNROLL TIMES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH CASH (4) to win

RACE THREE

JAY TEE TYRON (1)
was asked to roll the sleeves to grind it out sitting parked last start and after the tough trip in slick time, faded in the latter stages. Wide off the track the start prior at Marburg when trying to get into the contest, he lands all the favours from this alley to capitalise.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (7) resumed from a spell in a Trot Rods heat last week where he was eased in behind the speed in the early stages. Waiting for the passing lane to present, he had the best close out speed to claim a half-neck win in the best time of the series. He will be probing again here.

KATACHA MAN (9) has been thereabouts of late with a win and three minors in his past four starts. Wide off the track last start when attacking the line strongly, a good tempo will help his chances.

LORIMER LADY (2) did it the tough way last time out and fought hard for a midfield finish. Not beaten too far the start prior despite the zero to her name, she can be close enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: JAY TEE TYRON (1), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (7), KATACHA MAN (9), LORIMER LADY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3)
scored a win from back in the pack here three starts back when finishing over the top to claim the prize. Placed in both starts since, the latest when runner-up to PARAMA after finding the front and then being nailed in the last stride. This is again within reach.

ROCKNROLL MAX (1) fired off the arm in a 27 flat opening panel last start in a strong AP heat and the early burn left him out of bullets in the stretch to finish 9m from the swooping winner JACKS N JAZZ. Taking his first look at The Triangle he has the gate to turn his numbers around.

LIFES BLACK (6) has no favours from the outside paint but has been in nice touch of late with a win sandwiched between a pair of 2nds. Grabbed in a small field last start, he can chime in.

HY VOLTAGE (7) will get to follow the speed here rather than setting it where he has been run down the past three times he has tried to dictate. He will be locked away here and searching for gaps.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3), ROCKNROLL MAX (1), LIFES BLACK (6), HY VOLTAGE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3) to win

RACE FIVE

TEACHERS PET (1) has been in super form with five wins in her past six appearances and will go in search of another hat-trick here. Taking them all the way and pulling clear to a 6m margin last start, The dominant record Nathan Dawson has developed with the mare can continue from this alley.

POM PAY (5) was taking her first look at The Triangle last week when finding the 1x1 trail and then owning the best closing speed to arrive. Hitting the line smartly to grab the bronze at Bathurst three starts back, the wide gate stings but with the right tempo she can be making a closing play.

KOTARE ELITE (4) was first up when pressing on from gate 4 over the AP mile two starts back and finding the front was able to grip on for 3rd. Fading after a tough run last start, she is in the mix here.

ROLLONX (9) was a smart winner of a Trot Rods heat three starts back and has followed that with 2nd place in both runs since. Grabbed in the last strides last start, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (1), POM PAY (5), KOTARE ELITE (4), ROLLONX (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (1) to win

RACE SIX

RAANI (6)
held on for 3rd in a Trot Rods heat last time out when finishing 6m from the winner and new time holder WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON. Making a costly error as a red figure fav the start prior, she is making hard work of the starting procedures but if she can get it right, she can arrive here.

SUZUKEE (8) added another minor to the tally last start, making a closing raid to get within a half-head of the winner. Doing it the tough way when parked here two starts back and holding on for 3rd behind ZARAS A TREASURE, she can be trailing through here to issue the challenge.

METAKI MAJIC (7) angled to the poles from gate 8 last start and was keen in the run when grabbing 3rd behind HEARTBREAK. Grabbed late when setting the speed two starts back, she is in the mix.

MISS MIA (1) has tackled some stronger opponents at her past two starts, the latest when not too far from the winner FRANKIES TOOTH. Just 1m in arrears two starts back, she has the gate to feature.

SELECTIONS: RAANI (6), SUZUKEE (8), METAKI MAJIC (7), MISS MIA (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

ROYAL PRINCESS (1)
settled int eh 1x1 trail from gate 3 here two starts back and when angled into open space was able to arrive in the closing bounds to take a half-head margin. 7m away in a Trot Rods heat last start behind SHADYS DELIGHT, she has all the options to cash-in.

FAIREACHDAINN (2) was sent to the post as fav last start in a Trot Rods heat where she was sent forward from the wide gate but could not see it out when 5m from the winner. A passing lane winner here two starts back from inside the second line, she can get forward to challenge.

CASH QUEEN (4) has now been to the track on four occasions since returning from a spell and has shown improvement at each outing. A tough 2nd when beaten a half-neck last start, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL PRINCESS (1), FAIREACHDAINN (2), CASH QUEEN (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

SCHOOBY (5)
has hit a career peak and lines up here looking to extend his super run of form and take his streak to a handful of victories. Powering home over the top last start after retreating early, he was too strong after sitting parked two runs back. Meeting basically the same opponents, there is no reason he can’t win this.

CHASIN DREAMZ (7) landed a half-head victory here three starts back when sitting parked and grafting out a narrow victory. Runner-up to the stablemate SCHOOBY in both starts since that win, she will be hemmed away and awaiting open space to try to reel them in.

ELPINE SALLY (8) will have the early options here to dart down to the pegs or stay in the running line for the best way home. Grabbing 3rd at her first look here last start, she is in the mix again.

BERTILS FIREFOX (1) lands the ace for the fourth successive start and with his good speed off the arm, can be in the right place to make a play for the minors.

SELECTIONS: SCHOOBY (5), CHASIN DREAMZ (7), ELPINE SALLY (8), BERTILS FIREFOX (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SCHOOBY (5) to win

RACE NINE

THREE ONE FOUR (8)
was on debut here last week in a field chopped about by scratching’s and in the small field of five, was sent out deep into the red. Sent to eh front, she was trying to see it out but had to settle for the silver and with the benefit of the race experience can go one better here.

EYEDUNNO (2) has had just three career starts, the latest when banished to the trials after making errors in the run as a short-price favourite. Earning the return after doing everything right, she has the ability to take this, whether her tractability issues meet the demands of The Triangle is a query.

TONYS SECRET (1) arrives in Qld with the Graham Dwyer stable and will have her first appearance in over two years. With just one public trial on this deck to prepare, she may need the run.

SELECTIONS: THREE ONE FOUR (8), EYEDUNNO (2), TONYS SECRET (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THREE ONE FOUR (8) to win

RACE TEN

MULLUM AXEL (3)
eased to the rear from gate 6 last start at headquarters after initially sliding forward but with no possie on offer was four back on the poles in transit. A gap opened in the stretch and he really hit the line strongly to be just a neck in arrears of THE GROGMOTHER.

HEZA GALVINATOR (7) brings the most race experience to this contest and with the second line options will likely be away form the poles into the running line. Attacking the line in smart fashion last start to get within a half-neck of the winner, he looms large.

REGAZZO DI TILLY (4) will take some benefit from his race debut where he took on the older horses and worked home in nice order to be 4m from the winner. With even luck he can feature.

HOLLYWOODBOUND (6) made her first race appearance last start when easing back to the poles from gate 4 and with the cosy trip chased home for the silver. The gate stings but she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MULLUM AXEL (3), HEZA GALVINATOR (7), REGAZZO DI TILLY (4), HOLLYWOODBOUND (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MULLUM AXEL (3) to win
