RACE TWO

MISTER GUNSEN (6) has the wide gate to overcome as he comes into this 2nd up from a break. Making an error at release from the tapes last time, he has been back to the trials twice where he was sharp on both occasions. If he can get his manners under control, this would be within reach.

STONED AGAIN (1) was away well from his 10m tape last start at Marburg to settle in the pocket trail over the 2200m. Never really having a shot at them, he was sound in finishing mid-field. With good speed off the arm, protecting the inside early can see him be in the mix here.

ALS LAW (7) took the trail over the AP 2138m 2 starts back and when angled to the outside in the stretch, let down sharply to score. 3rd in much stronger company last start, he is a big threat here.

ASTRAL RULER (5) made a mess of the start last time he went around under mobile conditions. If able to get the start sorted this time, he can find the right position to be around the money.

SELECTIONS: MISTER GUNSEN (6), STONED AGAIN (1), ALS LAW (7), ASTRAL RULER (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

BILLY LINCOLN (6) appreciated the mile last start when sent forward to take control from the 2nd line and once in front held on to score a narrow victory. That win atoned for a defeat as a red figure fav over the 2138m when beaten a head by the in-form SAINT KILDA BEACH. He can overcome the gate.

FORTES IN FIDE (3) started from gate 11 last start when chasing home BILLY LINCOLN to be 9m in arrears. Not suited from a wide gate the start prior when easing back early, he can capitalise on the good gate this time around and with good speed of the arm can find a prominent position early.

GOALKICKER (2) was caught wide from gate 6 last start over the AP mile and eased back prior to making a move 3-wide to chime in for the bronze. Her Redcliffe record is strong and she has claims.

SIGNORINA JUJON (7) will need some luck from this alley as she looks set to be locked away in the run. Strong to the line last start when wide off the track and only 1m away, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: BILLY LINCOLN (6), FORTES IN FIDE (3), GOALKICKER (2), SIGNORINA JUJON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BILLY LINCOLN (6) to win

RACE FOUR

JEWEL OF PEAK (6)
fired out early from gate 3 over the 2040m start here last time and then jumped it off as she was looking to clear down. With a mid-race move from the rear to get back to the front, she fought gamely in a nice run to hold 4th. The 1780m start will be better and she can take control.

MISS MIA (7) was shuffled right back from inside the 2nd line at AP over the mile last start and when finding pace attacked the line sharply to get within 5m of the winner BILLY LINCOLN. She is racing well without much luck and if the rub of the green goes her way, she can issue a challenge.

HIGH ON MONTANA (5) was a tough winner over the AP mile 4 starts back when sent to the breeze from gate 7 and out-toughing them to the line. Placed in 2 runs since, he will be in the fight here.

KAY NORA SHANNON (10) took on a mares qualifier 2 starts back when hitting the line in nice order to be 4m from the winner MADAME LEZA. Forget her last start, she can be chiming in late here.

SELECTIONS: JEWEL OF PEAK (6), MISS MIA (7), HIGH ON MONTANA (5), KAY NORA SHANNON (10)
SUGGESTED BET: JEWEL OF PEAK (6) to win

RACE FIVE

GOLD REACTOR (1) found the line strongly from back in the pack to claim the silver in a Gold Pot final 3 starts back behind CHERRYS THE BEST. Too far back at his next start, he was game in the breeze last start in running BILLY LINCOLN to a half-head. With the cosy trip, he can snipe here.

ALE ALE KAI (10) has the tough gate to negotiate here, but will find this a big drop on her past 2 starts. Taking on the Rising Stars Final 2 starts back, she looked to be traveling in the pocket trail and then lost momentum at a vital stage. Not suited from the tapes last start at Marburg, she is in this.

SPECIAL RESERVE (4) is finding a 4YO victory elusive at this stage with placings in 4 of her 6 starts for the term. The return to the triangle where she is 2 from 4, might just be the tonic to find a win.

STUDLEIGH WILL (3) found the front here last start from gate 2 and was fighting hard when fading in the closing stages. He can do some work in his races and can be grinding it out in this.

SELECTIONS: GOLD REACTOR (1), ALE ALE KAI (10), SPECIAL RESERVE (4), STUDLEIGH WILL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLD REACTOR (1) to win

RACE SIX

Put a line through the run of BODHI TREE (8) last start when he locked wheels as he was making a move that would have probably seen him place behind SECRETAGENT TYCOON. Holding on for the bronze 2 starts back, his Redcliffe record is strong and with tempo up front can arrive for the prize.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (4) led them all the way from gate 1 over the AP mile 2 starts back, running home a sharp closing 800m after a 2nd stanza breather. Not suited off the 2nd line as ZAHVEN BANNER carved it out in front last start, he can fire some early bullets here to feature.

TRAIN WRECK (1) sat in the pocket trail behind ZAHVEN BANNER last start and chased gamely to keep the margin at 11m in a blistering 1.50.8 mile. With the peg-line benefits again, he can feature.

SWEET AS (7) looks set to get the perfect trip against the poles here and will be probing for space in the stretch. Only 2m from HEZ RAZOR SHARP 3 starts back along the inside, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: BODHI TREE (8), MARK OF INTEGRITY (4), TRAIN WRECK (1), SWEET AS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BODHI TREE (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

OUR DELIGHT (1) started from the 2nd line last start and was hitting the line strongly from back in the pack to get within 3m of the winner AMILLION PROMISES. Chasing gamely for 2nd behind LIVE ATOM the start prior, she loves the sprint lane and can be dressed and ready to dance in the stretch.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (9) has a tricky gate but should find this easier than recent starts where he has taken on qualifiers at his past 2. Buried in the run from an inside 2nd line gate when only 6m from OUR LITTLE DIGGER, he wasn’t suited over the 2138m last time. He is right in the fight here.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (2) speared out from gate 6 over the AP mile last start and taking control was able to take them all the way to a tidy victory. Lighting the lamps here, he will be gripping on.

CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (7) will need a slice of luck from this alley but with the gaps arriving can look to chime into the money. His 2nd to SEEUINNASHVILLE last start was a tidy effort and he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: OUR DELIGHT (1), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (9), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (2), CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR DELIGHT (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

Another tough claimer with the barrier draw making this an interesting contest. RORY MACH (5) who was able to land a stand-start victory over the Marburg Marathon 2900m last start. Taking the silver, the start prior when 2m in arrears, with a 75% top 3 record here on the triangle, he can arrive.

COMPLY OR DIE (7) was buried away on the poles last start and was sound to the line in finishing mid-field behind CRACKA STRIDE. Not suited when cutting the breeze, the start prior, he can secure a cosy trip here and will be probing for openings to chime into the action.

THE GUN ROCKSTAR (1) made the most of this gate last start over the sprint trip to take them all the way to a tidy win. Stepping back to the claiming ranks from this gate, he will be right in the fight.

OUR MELS DREAM (10) has been thereabouts of late without really looking to pose a winning threat, yet has been in the money at 3 of his past 4 starts. The gate hurts, but he is always an exotic hope.

SELECTIONS: RORY MACH (5), COMPLY OR DIE (7), THE GUN ROCKSTAR (1), OUR MELS DREAM (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

WEEDONS EXPRESS (7) has been racing well of late without things really going his way from some tough gates. Sent to the pegs last start from gate 10 in a Band 5 event, he was hitting the line hard when 7m from KID MONTANA. If the 1 can hold, this guy will be all over his helmet ready to strike.

ONLY IN ROME (1) took on a qualifier over the 2138m last start and sent forward from gate 7 was able to find some cover in the running line early. In a 27 flat closing panel, he was strong to the line when 7m in arrears of MR KALYPSO. He will get every chance to break his Redcliffe maiden in this.

MAJOR CURRENCY (6) was taken of the gate from outside the front line at AP last time out and then making a run was hitting dead-ends when 4m away. The gate hurts again, but he won’t be far away.

CROOKWELL JAKE (5) has the tough gate to negotiate, and is also looking to get things to go his way. Just left a little flat when the sprint went on last start, look for a sharper effort in this.

SELECTIONS: WEEDONS EXPRESS (7), ONLY IN ROME (1), MAJOR CURRENCY (6), CROOKWELL JAKE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WEEDONS EXPRESS (7) to win

RACE TEN

OFFTHETOPOFMYHEAD (9) will take his 1st look at the triangle and will be needing some factors in his favour to arrive. That said, there looks the right tempo off the front to give him a closing shot and if settling close enough will be finishing hard. Luckless last start, his closing sectionals were strong.

BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (5) has been freshened since his last outing when forced to race tough in the breeze over the AP mile. Sent forward from the 2nd line, he rolled the sleeves and only faded the closing stages behind the in-form DREAM TO SHARE. He can throw down a strong challenge here.

MUCHO MACHO MAN (2) found the 1x1 trail from inside the 2nd line last start and was best of the chasers behind the big winner ALWAYS ON COMMAND. From the gate he can fire the 1st shot.

CELTIC CRUZA (3) returned from a break with a tough 2nd here 2 starts back and followed that with another tough effort from gate 11 when only 3m in arrears of SEEUINNASHVILLE. He is right in this.

SELECTIONS: OFFTHETOPOFMYHEAD (9), BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (5), MUCHO MACHO MAN (2), CELTIC CRUZA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OFFTHETOPOFMYHEAD (9) each-way
